I’m generally on the fence about VS, as I can be fitted one week at a certain size and it seems I go and try on a different type of bra but same fitting size as before, then the fit is off. That may be the make of that particular bra. So I don’t chalk too much up to that, however, in testing this fitting theory, I have received two different cup sizes from two different associates. I expect a slight difference, but not that much. I purchased a bra over the weekend, was assisted by an associate but never truly fitted. She did ask my size to which I told her and she picked out one and stated«this should fit.» Now I don’t work for VS, and though I do know my body, I ended up trying this on and was told the associate would come back to check on me and the fit. After a good 10 mins, still no return of the associate and I as getting tired of waiting. I made the executive decision the fit was fine and made my purchase. After wearing the bra for two uncomfortable days, I decided I HAD the wrong size and must make an exchange for a better fit. I called ahead, explaining everything felt fine during the fit in the store and I thought wearing it for two days would stretch it out and it would be fine, but it was rubbing me raw. The woman was very polite and apologetic and stated it would be no problem to exchange. Once in the store, however, I had to seek someone out and lucky me, this someone had an attitude. I had my receipt, explained the situation and that I had called ahead. She proceed to rudely ask who had help me(which, I didn’t know) and whether or not I had been fitted. I showed her how red my arm was and she said«oh yeah, that’s definitely not the right size.» They didn’t make the bra I had in the size I needed, so she did find an alternative, while making me feel like a heap of trouble. I had seen another bra online and inquired about it but I didn’t have a lot of info. She laughed at me when I asked if she could look into seeing if they had it or would have and stated she would need more information beside what I knew which was it was mesh and lace and unlined(which is how I found it online) it was made clear she would not even attempted to look for it. I simply wanted to know if it was exclusive to online or did they have it. I had to look it up and then once I knew what it was, she stated it was a late arrival. So I followed that up with when might they have it in? «sometime next month.» All in all, I felt as a consumer it was a VERY cold experience and if I hadn’t been in a desperate position to leave with a bra would have told them«here, choke on it.» Which is really ugly and out of my character, however that is how frustrating the experience was.
