Fletcher’s Tire & Auto Service

They were nice, but have serious communication problems. I used a groupon for a transmission tune up. I had to drop the vehicle off and leave, because the wait was ridiculously long. They had to order a transmission cap for me. I was told to come back at 5:30 and they would have it for me. Well, they forgot to call me to tell me that it wasn’t going to be there until the next day. They then never bothered to call me to confirm that it had arrived. I won’t use them again, because of the lack of communication.

Came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and 26-​point inspection. The worker at the front desk told me it would be an hour wait. I left for an hour and a half for good measure and came back to find my car in the shop looking like it had been finished. The guy at the front desk told me it was all ready to go, so I waited in the office as he went into the shop to pull my car out. 10 mins later he had yet to return with my keys, so I walked to the door where you can see into the shop to find they were raising my car up on the lift. THEY HADN’T EVEN STARTED MY CAR YET.
Another shop employ was slowly just starting to prep my oil change, stopping frequently to talk to the other workers in the shop. There was only 1 other car in the shop and all other bays were free, not like they were busy. I waited another 30 minutes for them to finish my car, never was I informed by anyone what was going on or that my car was not finished as I had been previously told.
After leaving for an innitial hour and a half, I had come back to wait an extra hour in the waiting room while no one cared to come in and inform me that they had just started my service. Oh and did I mention I didn’t just walk in to Fletcher’s that morning, I had made an appointment for 8am three days prior. I finally received my keys and my finished car at 10:45am, over 2.5 hours later. What is the point in making an appointment if you aren’t going to service my vehicle for another hour and a half after my appointment reservation? Also, when I received my receipt with the break down of services there was no sign of a 26-​point inspection, and the worker didn’t say anything about whether the inspection went good and everything checked out. I’m guessing it wasn’t even performed because they just tried to get my car done fast and cover up their lazy work making me wait a total of two hours and 45 minutes. Needless to say I’m less than impressed and I would not recommend Fletcher’s service.

These guys were great! I didn’t have an appointment but I was able to walk in and get an oil change immediately! They pulled my car in before I was even done asking for the oil change. I was in and out in a matter of 20 minutes or so. The team was very helpful and I’m glad I stopped by. The price was reasonable too, I drive a Jetta and I typically spend an arm and a leg, but I was able to walk out with money in my account still. I will definitely go again!
Oh and the women’s bathroom was very clean! In all my experience, this has to be the cleanest bathroom I’ve been in for this kind of establishment!

Used a Groupon for oil change, tire rotation and 54 point inspection. After an hour in the waiting room saw my car parked outside, they had forgotten to tell me it was done plus they didn’t rotate the tires or bother to give me the paper work.

I will not bring my business to Fletchers made an appointment a few days before online, when I called to set the time up because I didn’t get a call back I got the run around. Himmen and hawen about wanting me to leave it there when its my only vehicle. Lol I said oh well and wasn’t going to waste my time and brought it to just brakes on northern and 101. Better service.

I have to admit, I’m apparently a slow learner. I’ve taken my truck to Fletcher’s in Goodyear probably 4 times and each visit was progressively worse. On my last visit I asked to to balance the tires — they didn’t charge me for it, but they didn’t do it either. I think my biggest complaint is that they always seemed to want to rush my truck out of there as fast as they could so they could move on to the next person. Not what I expect for what I’m paying.
Never again. For oil changes, tire related issues, etc. I’ve been having good luck with S&S Tire a few miles away.

We recieved a coupon for $ 49.95 for a car package thru email. This includes oil change, 4 wheel alignment, air filter, rotation and various checks (air pressure, battery, etc). We picked up the truck and was charged $ 61.42. They said they couldn’t align or rotate because tir rods bad. Ok, so I was charged more because you could not complete the work??? What’s with that. I understand not being able to do the work, but charging a customer more than the coupon because something was wrong is just plain WRONG!!! They did little work and then decided to make up their own price. The most we should have been charged was $ 49.95!!! They lost our business for sure. We own 7 autos and will never go back!!! Funny how also we had an alignment done less then a month before and they didn’t notice anything wrong. Beware, lots of bad reviews for this place.

Do not waste your money with Fletchers, do yourself a favor and take yourself to Wilhelm Auto a few miles down the road. I’d give them zero stars if that was an option. I’ve taken many vehicles to Fletchers as they used to do an acceptable job but I refuse to go back. The service in-​store is fine but they cut corners. First bad experience was a result of them installing a cracked spark plug in my truck. They claimed everything was fine so we went to Rodeo ford to diagnose who ultimately found the issue. Second was an oil change/​tire rotation service where they clearly did not rotate the tires. When I pointed it out to the manager his response was «you didn’t ask us to rotate the tires». Ok, so if your «service» includes a tire rotation why would a customer ask? Did you not change the oil filter too since we didn’t ask? And the last straw is their deceptive pricing. We had a HORRIBLE phone experience with them that is too lengthy to discuss here (unprofessional service to say the least) but at the end of the day they had a buy 2 get 2 free promo on BFG tires. They quoted us $ 540 for 2 tires including all 4 warranties! The tires were $ 130 each so where did the other $ 280 come from? We ended up getting 4 Goodyear tires from Sam’s Club for $ 465 ($ 115 each) including all warranties…
Anyway, learn from my experiences and choose to spend your hard earned money at another local shop that appreciates its customers and runs a trustworthy operation. We’d definitely recommend Wilhelm’s in Goodyear.

Set your phone to record all your conversations with them. My interactions started off well enough, but slowly got worse. I brought in a Groupon and 5 days later, after a ton of high pressure sales tactics, I picked up my vehicle and they hadn’t even done my brakes, just the oil. I thought the groupon price was maybe a way for them to generate long term customers, but it’s just a way for them to bait and switch. Don’t be fooled. These are high pressure commission sales people and they will disarm you with charm and slowly reel you in. I wish i had recorded all my conversations with them.

Stay as far away from ANY Fletcher’s as you can. They are scam artists and dupe their customers. To top it off they don’t even complete work appropriately and I think they purposely «break» things in your car to make you purchase more work. I have several examples but will share this on that just happened recently.
I purchased a set of tire from the Fletcher’s in Goodyear about a year ago. They sold me on the road hazard warranty stating how it covers all problems that I could have outside of the manufacturer’s warranty such as a nail, blowout, etc. So the sucker that I was, I bought it for all 4 tires at a cost of about $ 16/​tire. Bought the car into another Fletcher’s in Tucson and they are charging me $ 78 to replace a tire. Why I asked being that I bought this warranty. So here is the breakdown as it was explained to me.
$ 16 — for installation (mount & balance) — I’m ok with this
$ 16 — for Road Hazard. OK didn’t I already buy road hazard you ask? Yes! But this fee is to use the road hazard. Say what? Yes, to use the road hazard that already purchased!
$ 41 — for the replacement tire because I used more than 25% of the tread
So truly by buying this warranty on a $ 107 tire, I paid $ 16 for the original warranty + $ 16 to use the warranty + $ 41 to replace the damaged tire = $ 73. That is 68% of the original cost of the new tire!!! Unbelievable!!!
The only reason I came back to Fletcher’s after my other experiences is because of this warranty. Best believe I will never ever ever do business with them again!!!

I’ve gone here several times to have them check out my brakes. After 3 separate visits, the brakes would go back to screeching, and there is something definitely wrong with my car. What really did it for me though, was how the guys would call me 4 times, and leave 3 voicemails telling me to pick up my car in one day! It was SO annoying! One call was honestly enough.
They were closing at 4 pm on a Saturday, so by them constantly calling me, it seemed like they were in a rush to get out of work. I am Their customer giving Them business. On top of that, I had a vital project to do for work and was busy, also trying to enjoy limited time with my family!
I agree with another reviewer, «Their quality of work is not up to par at all.» That was my last visit, and I will try Sears and my own dealership. My money and time was wasted here.

I took my car to Fletcher’s Goodyear this week after having heard good reviews from two trusted folks. My car had starter issues, I gave them the ok to fix then got slammed with a $ 1118 bill. Soon after he saw my shock to hear the price, the guy who assisted me offered to knock $ 300 off. I saw this as a major red flag. On the bill were a few items that seemed like unnecessary repairs. I eventually was able to negotiate down to $ 668. What’s more, he said his co-​worker had told me the price tag over the phone but if this were the case, I obviously won’t have been so surprised to hear it in the store. Turns out I’m not the only one who’s had problems with Fletcher’s auto, as several online reviews attest. Also, the state of Arizona filed suit against the Gilbert Fletcher’s two years ago, see

Called in to see if there are openings for an oil change. They said that they are pretty much open, so I said «great let me get for an appointment in 15 mins», then I was told that it wasn’t needed. So I get there and now there were 3 people ahead of me and it would take more than 2 hours to get a simple oil change done. Went to Walmart and got it done in an hour. It seems that this happens all the time at any Fletcher’s.

Service is horrible. I brought my car in for an oil change at 7am when they opened there were only 2 ppl in front of me and the garage had 5 attendees working. I was told it would be done in an hour and a half, I come back when told and they haven’t even touched my car. Their response was that they had appointments ahead of me. I really couldn’t believe they lied straight too my face when he told me there were only 2 ahead of me when I arrived. And when I come back there were 5 cars in the bay. Absolutely horrible service.

So far do good, only been a week or so since new brakes were install so we shall see! Very slow so that’s why I am giving it only 3 stars. I am also used to having someone notice me pull in and ask if I need service, this didn’t happen. I had to seek help. Other than that I hope my brakes work well.

I stopped in to the store without an appointment to have them determine where I had an oil leak. The gentlemen quickly put my Mustang on the lift and determined a rear seal was leaking. Since I was not able to have it fixed at that time due to my time constraints, they topped off the oil for me, cleaned up the casing and we scheduled to bring it back for service at my convenience. Appreciated the professional service from Mark & William.

The only reason I have come back to this place is because of the groupon deal they offer but the service is awful and they treat their costumers so bad, none of them are friendly and sound rude when they talk to you. Last time I will go there after i am done using my last groupon from them

I have been a customer of Fletchers since 2007. I have a friend that offered to look at my breaks, because my car has been shaking. I had my breaks done at Fletchers last June, so you would think everything should still be good. Nope! They speaking turned the rotors, but they didn’t. They never took them off, they still had the same screw’s on. They charged us $ 20 for each turned rotor. What ever you do don’t go to Fletchers. They are crooks, especial if you are a woman.

To start, my tire was DEAD and I came in asking to see if there was some way to salvage it but of course there wasn’t. But let me start from the top:
My cousin (who was visiting and is more car savvy than I) came with me and got off and said «I’m gonna go see what they can do» so he gets off and goes to a man and starts speaking in Spanish and the guy throws up his hands and says «we speak English here» very RUDE. From the get go I was mad so I said «I just wanted to see if there was something I could do with this tire?» And the guy said «yep. we can replace it that’s all» so I asked how much it would be and I added «I don’t want to put too much money into the car I’m gonna sell it soon» so he took me to the office and said «One BF Goodrich tire is gonna be roughly $ 80, but to install it you’re looking at $ 180. And my cousin said «they’re taking advantage of the fact that you’re a girl and I don’t speak English» so we said «okay no thanks» and they just let me walk out. I was NOT going to pay these people more for a INSTALLATION than a TIRE, it didn’t add up. Please listen to these reviews about this place, they are DISHONEST, RUDE, and MANIPULATIVE. I honestly don’t understand how a business can run this way.

This fletchers really does take a long time. It is very boring in the waiting room. We sit there watching stupid infomercials. Its warm they should turn air just a bit down because the room gets full. They forgot to put the reminder sticker on my windshield.
