Our sink had the dumb! (did not work) After purchasing snakes (2, and they are not slimy) to clear the drain and many jugs of draino… none of which worked… I decided it was time to call in the big guns~ a real plumber.
Not only were they prompt, polite and called while in route… they answered the phone! I will admit I called one other place before and it went to a voice mail.
With what to me looked like a medieval torture device I have seen on The Borgias, he fixed the sink and replaced the p-​trap as well as gave advice on future routing of drains if the garbage disposal gets the dumb. He was very pleasant and there was no plumber buttox in sight. Ask for Ron if you call while in dire straights (unable to plumb for yourself).
