Kool Chez

Can’t remember when I had such a positive shopping experience! I despise shopping, but this is an incredible shop, beautiful items, and Ramses and Lily are beyond amazing.

I seriously love Kool Chez. Everyone is super friendly first off and just sets a good vibe, especially for my first NYC experience coming from the South. The owner was in that day I visited and we had such a great talk of his travels and different pieces he found.
There are some serious nice finds in this location. Eclectic spot, with reasonable prices and great finds that will be staple pieces in your wardrobe.
This location is in midst of a residential and strip of stores. It is easy to find!

I love this shop! I went there for the first time recently and not only do they have a fabulous selection of vintage items, but the owners are super nice and welcoming. Their friendliness is just as much as a selling point as the fab merchandise. I will definitely be going back.

The clothes are impeccably chosen in this gem of a shop, but what really sets it apart from others is the owners’ talent and attention to the customer. Ramses has an eye for what fits, what flatters, what makes you feel good. I found a combination of «not so basic» basics and special occasion outfits, and I can’t wait to wear all of them. I’m going to be coming back on a regular basis.

Love at first shop!
I spotted this adorable vintage shop as they were getting their Andy Warhol window display set up. The owners, Lily and Ramses were dressed super chic and greeted me with a smile and warm conversation. I set my bags down for hands free vintage browsing. The shop is small and everything has been hand selected. This makes it better to find the treasures you are looking for.
I love that the clothing racks are sorted by color. That is how I personally organize my closet at home. And it helps when you are trying to find a new color. I always end up with black or black and white dresses. This time I could focus on the specific color sections. Of course I was pulled into the purse section. I found the most beautiful lime green velvet clutch. The perfect accent accessory! The owners and I got fashion nerdy about the various color combos we could do with the purse. I carried it around the shop the hole time I was browsing. It was coming home with me for sure.
One of the owners has a designer/​artist background and the other has the cool British rock vibe. I definitely ended up loving the store and these two super artsy power couple! I left as he was painting a paper gown on the mannequin and she was modeling a white stole with pompoms that I was drooling over!
I can’t wait to come by and see the finished window display and find more treats!

I usually pass by boutiques for fear of that perfect little thing for $ 250! Or more accurately, my wife finding that perfect $ 250 dress… But this boutique is awesome! Think boutique, meets vintage, meets thrift, meets I can still afford my rent! (Barely). Honestly I had trouble finding anything OVER $ 25. Although the owner/​operator assured me there are a few items over that price point.
Anyhow, improve your closet and checkout Cool Chez, the one boutique that you won’t have to head straight to the sales rack and the one vintage/​thrift shop that didn’t smell like one! (Cash only for now) owner said they are just getting started…

Superbly curated new thrift store along 3^rd Ave. Mostly women’s clothing and accessories along with a smattering of home wares and North African finds. Owner’s talented eye, honesty and genuine warmth made shopping here a true pleasure.

Kool Chez is a cute little vintage boutique that just opened in the neighborhood. The owners are a friendly local couple, and they sell well curated and fairly priced women’s vintage clothes and some housewares and knick knacks. I wish them luck and welcome them to the area but also hope my fiancé doesn’t spend too much of her money there!
