I had such a great experience shopping for my wedding dress at Stone Manor. Upon arrival, June explained which dresses were sorted where(a great selection!) and let my mom and I browse freely. As someone who wasn’t totally certain of what I was looking for(even after two previous bridal appts) I really liked this approach vs. the«you can pick 5» I was told at some other shops. Throughout the process of trying on gowns, I can’t say enough about how helpful and encouraging June(and the other consultants around the shop who offered commentary) were. I left my appointment with two serious contenders and ended up going back later that day to choose my dress! Overall, a really positive experience along with a great selection of dresses made Stone Manor 5 stars all the way! Update: my dress has now come in and I met with one of their seamstresses, Gail, who was really energetic and seems to be an expert. There are a few modifications I want to make to the dress and she has assured me that they will be no problem(and won’t cost a fortune).

Upon arriving at the bridal shop, I noticed that the place was very nice and appeared to have a wide selection. I was very unhappy with how the bride of my party was treated. Although we were a few minutes late for our appointment, they treated us as if we were hours late and inconveniencing them. The bride was told she could only pick out 8 dresses to try on and the consultant, Debbie, did not ask any questions or even assist the bride in trying on the dresses. She also left the changing room open, exposing the bride to other people. She was very short with all questions asked by the party and bride, and did not offer any form of suggestions when the dresses were tried on and discussed. I would not suggest going here if you would like a pleasant experience. It completely ruined our day that was planned weeks in advance.

I went dress shopping at Stone Manor with my family this past weekend and found the dress of my dreams! The consultants were very helpful and caring and both the manager and owner were there with wonderful tips and opinions. My consultant allowed me to try on a ton of dresses and as a bigger girl, she fit me in every single one! They were great about my price range and had great accessories to play around with. I honestly felt like part of the Stone Manor family when I left. I will definitely go back there with my bridesmaids to pick out their dresses because of the huge selection! I am so glad I went here and found my dress!

I visited Stone Manor in October with my mom, sister and future mother in law. First impression: the shop was beautiful and they had a nice selection of dresses accommodating all kinds of budgets and tastes. Brittany, the assistant assigned to me, was very sweet, encouraging us to take our time browsing the racks and to take all sorts of pictures to reference later in case I didn’t find«the one». I ended up buying my wedding dress at this appointment. While beautiful, it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Still, I was reassured by staff that a couple of simple and relatively cheap in-house alterations would transform it into my dream dress. Fine. I paid for the dress in full and patiently awaited its’ arrival in March. In the interim, I quit smoking, got healthy, and lost over 30 lbs. Then the dress came in and it was, of course, huge. Despite this, I forged on with alterations at Stone Manor, hoping the seamstress, Shoua, could work her magic and transform it. After 2 intense alteration appointments at which the dress still did not look«right», I made up my mind to check out some other bridal salons for a different dress. The current dress and all alterations were fully paid, so I figured it couldn’t hurt to at least look at what else was out there. I wound up buying a brand new, incredibly perfect wedding dress at a sample sale downtown! I immediately called Stone Manor and let them know that I had bought a new dress and would need to come pick up the old one after work instead of pushing through with a scheduled alteration appointment that evening. Imagine my surprise when the manager, Channan(sp?), called to tell me I could come pick up my dress if I paid the $ 140 I still owed them first. I politely explained how it wasn’t possible for me to owe anything as I had paid for for every alteration in full at each visit. She got very rude and loud, and insisted that after looking over the records several times, I still owed money! I offered to bring my receipts in to compare with theirs and she refused, saying the record was right in front of her in the computer. It went on and on like this for a while until she finally yelled that she could have the seamstress«rip out the newly sewn seams of the dress»(exact quote) if I was going to skip out on paying the money I owed. Wow. I was astounded that she could talk to me that way after all of the time and money I had thrown at them. I told her to calm down and call me back once she talked to Shoua who could vouch for my full payment. Sure enough, 10 minute later, she called back to tell me that she misread the record and I could pick up my dress whenever. No apology whatsoever for being rude, unprofessional, and downright nasty. Cool. Needless to say, what began as a really lovely experience turned out to be a horrible one. The only reasons I’m giving this place 2 stars is because it is 1) a truly beautiful boutique and 2) Shoua was a gem to work with. Unfortunately, I cannot forgive the terrible way this woman treated me. Weddings are stressful enough, and if she had stopped to think of how I, as her customer, felt for a second before treating me like a dollar sign, I may still have recommended this place to fellow brides. Instead I will send them to the place where I bought my second dress. TLDR: Good experience buying a dress here. Ended up going with a different dress from a different boutique. Manager threatened to wreck the dress if I didn’t pay $ 140 I still supposedly owed. I didn’t actually owe it.

I visited Stone Manor Bridal this past February. I had just gotten engaged a month before. At the time I was working at David’s Bridal as a stylist, I had seen everything they had to offer and wanted to go somewhere else for my bridal gown. I am so glad I came here, I had such an amazing experience here at Stone Manor! It all started with the phone calls to see if they had the dress I had been in love with on the floor. The customer service over the phone was great as well as my dress being available to try on in store so I proceeded to make an appointment. I came a few minutes early which was no problem and had June as my consultant. I was very uneasy coming here as my budget was on the lower end of the designer I liked being from $ 1000-$ 1500. However, June made the experience so smooth and made me feel confident that we would find something in my price range. Sure enough, the dress I had stalked on pinterest was THE one! June made sure I had tried on a variety of dresses and saved that one for last because I think even she knew that was going to be my dress. June was patient, knowledgeable and gave me the experience I knew I wouldn’t have gotten at David’s Bridal or any other bridal shop! I would recommend stone manor bridal to everyone that wants great customer service, a personal experience, and to find a dress with great high quality details!
