On a customer-service level, Wong’s is the worst. The takeout menu has coupons at the bottom. Great, right? Think again. They will happily take your order and tell you«Oh, sure!» when you mention the coupon, and then when you present it, they’ll say, «This coupon isn’t valid. It expired in 2013.» And because they’ve already added in the cost of your free whatever, which NOONEDOES, you’re forced to pay for it because you’re so stunned at the inanity of it all. So, to sum up, Wong’s can’t be bothered to update its menus with new expiration dates; refuses to honor them even though they knew there wasn’t a «current» coupon available; and offers no apologies. One can only wonder whether they would have thrown out perfectly good food if we hadn’t taken it… or recycled it for the next customer. The food is okay, but overpriced, and don’t waste your time on the chicken wings; they’re so tiny and dry that they could have come from Cornish hens.

Great spot for Mai-Tais and takeout. Small bar area with regulars but perfect for picking up dinner on the way home.

Our family returned home late and decided to try Wong’s Chinese food. We moved to the area two weeks ago and checked Google and Unilocal reviews prior to ordering. In hindsight, the lowly 3.5 stars was actually kind based on our experience. The food was, at best, average. The price for two adults ordering delivery was about $ 30 with a $ 2 additional delivery fee(someone should let the delivery kid know this when he tells you the price that is several dollars more what what you’re told on the phone). We waited over an hour for two small dishes and two small sides. The small«meals» cost upwards of 10 – 12 dollarsand didn’t even include rice. No, I’m serious. No pork fried rice. No white rice. No rice. So we ordered a small pork fried rice. It literally was white rice with a few pieces of onion, and slightly browned with soy sauce. I’ve never tasted such bland or uninspired fried rice. The kicker… In the bag they gave us two fortune cookies a couple pockets of soy sauce and two Italian dinner rolls. Dinner rolls. I am at an absolute loss of words for how much of a ripoff this slightly-below-average Chinese food place is. If you’re looking for half-complete Chinese food dishes that are priced 4x the market value and come less than 2 hours after order, Wong’s is the place for YOU! Seriously though… I’d eat expired condiments from the bottom shelf of my fridge before I order from this joke of a «restaurant» again.

I didn’t want to believe the other reviews. This place is close and I love a good scorpion bowl, but we won’t be back. We went in on a Friday night, and they were busy with take-out orders, we were sat quickly but it took nearly 20 minutes to get in our drink order. When the scorpion bowl came I knew it was not going to be for us, bright red and tasted of kool-aid — yuck. We ordered the food and what came out was not appetizing — the chicken teriyaki I am convinced wasn’t even cooked — and was cold. The décor is OLD, and I mean OLD — the walls they have covered with the stuff to line cabinets with, on the WALLS. And even that is starting to come off and pucker. I won’t be back, even for take-out.

The best Beef & Broccoli on the planet. Awesome Mai tai’s, friendly people and reasonable prices. What more do you need ? This is not a drive by, stop in and try this hidden gem.

Went here for the first time last weekend. My husband and I sat in the bar area and had drinks and appetizers. The drinks were good, but the food wasn’t anything to write home about. Not even the crab rangoon, which was disappointing after reading all of the rave reviews. The furniture and décor are super old and could definitely use an update to make the place more inviting. It was full of townies, including a table full of really drunk people. It was a decent experience and we’ll probably be back again for drinks.

Went for the first time last night… excellent food. Staff was very nice. Prices were very reasonable. The place could use some updates, but overall experience was very good. The egg rolls were excellent, and so was the scorpion bowl! Also tried chicken fried rice, peking ravioli, chicken fingers, and boneless spare ribs. Everything was great!

I just ordered from here about an hour ago. When the food arrived it was luke warm and not that good. I was quoted a ½ hour and it came an hour later. When I called the first time the manager told me that all delivery were out and it would be there. Well it didn’t get here until now. When I called back demanding for a refund for being over an hour late. I was told by the«manager» that they could only do 20% off my bill. When I asked if that was it and to speak with the owner, I was told that it was the owners daughter that delivered it. What does that have to do with the price of rice in China? Anyways they ended up ONLY giving me ½ of my order for Luke warm food and an empty stomach. Not the first time that this has happened. It WILL be the last. Never order from this place again. The management does not care about you, they only care about the money. Worst experience EVER!!!

The beef with broccoli had tough pieces of beef, the sauce was too sweet and also had a heavy hoisin sauce flavor. The moo shu chicken was over cooked. The egg roll was tasteless. The won ton soup was good with lots of vegetables but that is not enough to bring us back.

Great place for take out. Ordered Won Ton Soup, Lo Mein, Yu Hsiang, Szechuan Beef and the Moo Shi Pork. Fantastic across the board. Order was ready when we arrived and the staff didn’t make us wait. I highly suggest the Moo Shi Pork. Was the hit of the night. We’ll be back.

We all loved it! Certainly nothing inviting or nice about the location inside or out. But the food was great. We celebrated a birthday there and got he PuPu platter, Gen Gau’s chicken, Pad Thai, house rice,(love the Rangoons), yu Hsing and the chefs special… everything was great except the Mai Tai’s were only ok. Michele out server was a sweetheart. Full disclosure the drynks were flowing so this review may have been skewed so we definitely will try again soon. But I think I found a winner.

*DONOTBELIEVETHERATING* This place is by no means an upscale dining experience, but since he new ownership, the food is miles better and the new family running it is an extremely welcoming family. The drinks are fantastic and the bar has two large flat screen TVs with another located in the large dining room in the back. Great for groups of 6 or so. You can get a table for 10 if you really need it and call ahead. The takeout and delivery experiences have never failed me and they offer unbelievable amounts of free food for spending over certain amounts. Very family friendly(obviously the bar side isn’t for kids specifically)

UGHSUCKSS! all but the Scorpion Bowls… which are so heavy handed you need to call a cab. I really don’t recommend eating any of the dry, musky tasting food.

Went last night for some take out since they are down the road from me. I picked up and had never been inside. It looked decent inside and I would eat inside another time. They also had a little bar to the right. Everyone was friendly and the food was very good. The best part was that the portion size was great. Solid food and great portion will have me going back!

Not much too loook at from the outside but don’t let that fool you. I travel around a lot and it’s tough to find good Chinese Food. Great place for always quaility Chinese. I really love the Crab Rangoons. They usually never skimp on filling. The grease is usually clean also from the way things come out nice and clean looking.

Just moved to town, looking for something to compare to my favorites back in new york. The scallion pancakes are huge and they give you more than can fit in the container but they are deep fried, not pan fried like i’ve always seen and low on scallions/any flavor other than oil. They don’t have dumplings… i thought every place had them but maybe that’s not a thing up here. The noodles were yummy, very saucy(maybe a little too much) but pretty much the standard what I expected. Maybe slightly below but that’s me being picky. They delivered really fast, got my order right, no problems.

Hmmm… Wongs… Ok new owners have upped the ante with new menu which seems to utilize better ingredients but a dive is a dive no matter how you sauté it. Townies drinkin hard by 4pm there(if not much ealier)… you know the place… You drive by almost any time and see the same old folks out front smokin butts… not the best chi food in town but in a pinch, this place will fill your belly.
