GoWireless – Verizon Wireless Retailer

THIS LOCATION IS DEFINITELY OPEN for business (though they shouldn’t be). We visited this store yesterday (9.25.13) to replace my broken phone. Not only were the two male employees unprofessional, they very openly talked about how much money they made on a previous sale from a customer. I have bad luck with phones or quite frankly I break them easily. So I don’t want a glass phone. I am not a techy person (anymore) so I don’t keep up with the newest gadgets nor do I follow when new devices are released. I wanted a non-​glass phone and since most phones have glass on them I was limited to just a few phones. This retailer told me, this phone is/​was not out yet and I may have to wait up to 2 weeks to receive the phone. I can wait a few days for a new phone, but not an indefinite amount of unknown time. Not knowing that this is a NON-​DIRECT VERIZON DEALER, they are making up their own rules about me wanting to return the phone they hustled me into purchasing.
PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE HAND AND FIND A DIRECT AUTHORIZED VERIZON DEALER AND NEVER, I SAY NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THIS STORE!!!

This used to be my go to verizon store, there was a guy named Mario that was awesome, really helpful. Unfortunately he isn’t there any more. It seems they have new hires.
One girl in particular drove me to write this review. She was very unprofessional with horrible customer service. She was dressed very casually, as though she worked at Forever 21. The phone kept ringing off the hook, she wouldn’t even answer it, she would just pick up the phone and hang up. Once the land line would stop ringing, you could then hear her personal phone go «buzz buzz». When I asked if things were really busy, she said «no, just an annoying boyfriend». I then asked, «oh, does the land line phone have caller ID, so you know its him calling?», she replied with «No, that’s why it sucks if its a costumer».
She was clearly distracted the entire time because of the constantly ringing phone (s).
She did not know her shit, she continuously yelled across the room to the other worker’s desk to ask him where to locate things.
Not professional at all.
My advice, if you happen to walk into this store, and encounter this person avoid this unprofessional girl, you’ll waist your time with her.

This store may have been closed once, but it is open again. It should have stayed closed. I cannot remember when I have encountered such rude, apathetic service. I walked into the store looking for a phone cover for my new phone, and I was brusquely greeted by a scowling young woman. She wore a short faded denim jacket, a long crinkly skirt, and worn flip-​flops. Her hair looked like it hadn’t seen a brush in days. Seriously, the girl looked like a slovenly hillbilly. She seemed irritated and responded impatiently upon learning that I only wanted to purchase an accessory. She bitchily swatted at the phone covers that fit my phone, spitting out, «This, this, and this are for your phone.» She then stalked back to her counter. During our warm and tender interaction, the store phone rang several times. The girl answered each call, barked at the caller, and hung up. She shouted across the store to a young male co-​worker, «He keeps calling!» to which her associate replied, just hang up on him if he calls again.” As she rang up my purchase, the phone rang four times; she answered the first call with the announcement, «I’m leaving for the day now! Stop calling!» With each subsequent ring, she picked up the receiver and slammed it down. After paying the $ 46 bill (not a cheap cover), she thrust my receipt at me as if she meant to punch me. She offered no «thank you» or «have a nice day.» I walked to the door, turned, and called out, «You’re welcome!.» I then went to my car, called the store’s number on my cell phone, and heard the receiver pick up and slam down. What a freak show.

I went in there because I live nearby. I was looking for an apple phone charger. They told me they do not carry them. I was driving around and found a fairly new Verizon Store open on Devonshire in Mission Hills. The Manager helped me right away and they did have the charger.
