Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

CATERING REVIEW:
We ordered Menchie’s for our 14 year old’s birthday party last weekend.
They provided an ice box (which was to return the following day) with frozen yogurt 2 oz. cups in five different flavors, choice of my daughter. Ten toppings came in a separate bag, with spoons.
The order was ready on time, and there was an option to have a delivery and serving in a very affordable price.
I was surprised with the low cost and will surely order Menchie’s catering again for our next party.

Clean, fresh ingredients, and pleasant staff. They could get 5 stars if we could find coupons. :) Otherwise would recommend to all

Have always seen this place driving home but finally decided to stop by Tuesdsay and try it.
What a wonderful selection of Yogurts!!! I like you can pick and choose whatever flavor and just pay for what you get. no pre selected flavors or sizes!
Don’t know why but I really like cold desserts when it starts too cool down so I’ll be back!

Good dessert.

For most of the froyo I’ve tried, Menchie’s is up there. Won my heart with their Nutella flavor. Other places make their version of Nutella, but it tasted best over here (not light in nutella taste, but not overpoweringly strong either). I also had the Pecan Praline flavor which complimented the Nutella. Didn’t put any toppings, but their topping bar is pretty impressive. They have mini taster cups put out for you to try flavors first (you can try all if you’d like). Nice seating area inside and outside. Heaters outside for those colder days/​nights.
Price is by the weight, so if you want a modest «small» size, don’t be fooled by their cup sizes and fill a half cup (a mistake I made).

I usually don’t write reviews for frozen yogurt places because most don’t disappoint, but this is by far the best service for a frozen yogurt place. The staff are so kind and the place is so clean, all the toppings are always restocked, and their hours are great. They also have a great outdoor seating area which is also heated! I love love this place

Menchie’s is the best place because you can taste as much as you want, and you only pay for the amount that you want. They just measure the weight of the amount you serve yourself. All the workers are friendly and professional and the flavors are phenomenal. What else can you want?

My family and I love to walk to this location. The employees are always friendly and the yogurt and toppings are great. In door and out door seating are both really nice. The parking is fine as long as you don’t go Friday night when the food trucks are all out.

I would definitely give five stars if they still had blue raspberry tart. It is the best.

Oh yes and the yogurt is the BEST eva! It beats Yogurtland and Tooty Fruity Poopie Hands down! Seriously, I LOVE this yogurt!

Menchies has become a weekly treat for me! I’m all for the frozen yogurt trend that has taken over lol They have an ok selection of flavors… Usually there is a machine or 2 down so it can be a little limited. But the toppings are always plentiful with a nice variety. I try to stick to the fresh fruit (the fruit seems freshly sliced and they keep on their refills) but can’t help but throw a couple treats on top (the brownie bits and cheesecake pieces! Fresh and YUM!) It can be a little chaotic in there (I always seem to get there when the after school crowd rushes the place) but the staff is always friendly and it’s easy to get in and out quickly!

Who goes for frozen yogurt just for the toppings… guilty as charged! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy frozen yogurt but I’m always excited about what else I get to put in my cup.
After saying that, it’s strange that I noticed the yogurt here wasn’t very tasty. The fact that I even noticed the yogurt tasted just ok was saying a lot. It’s possible they just didn’t have a lot of good flavors the night we went.
However as I said earlier I am a topping freak and I gave them 4 stars because their TOPPINGS are top notch and the ambiance is the cutest! They had the biggest and most original selection of toppings I have ever seen at a yogurt place. The fruit was very fresh and they had chocolate covered strawberries and Oreos. I would come for a variety of treats in my cup and skip the yogurt if there were no good flavors… I already know, it’s kind of weird.
The ambiance is so cute here. They had great colors inside and a room just for the kiddies. However my favorite thing was the cozy fire-​pit outside which isn’t very normal for a yogurt spot. That definitely differentiate them from other yogurt spots.
If your not too picky about your yogurt, love your toppings, and don’t mind parking on the street then this is your place!

When approaching this specific Menchie’s I couldn’t help but stare at all the bright lights, signs, colorful displays and set-​up they had going for this place. It was cheerful, appealing and welcoming. Inside had bright lights, clean yogurt dispensers and surroundings. All the names and flavors of yogurt were clearly posted above. I do have to admit the layout of the interior and exterior was creative, energetic and fun. I especially took a huge liking to the warm fire pit outside, my friend and I huddled close while eating our yogurt.
The variety of yogurt flavors was average, the same you would probably see at Yogurt Land. The toppings were displayed well, all the containers were full, the counters were wiped clean, and all the fruit looked freshly sliced. The toppings look so much more appealing when they’re presented well and clutter free, at least they seem more eatable. They taste of the yogurt I have to say was a disappointment. It tasted artificial, watered down, and dull. I believe I prefer the taste of YogurtLand over Menchie’s.
Customer service wasn’t anything to scream about either. No one greeted us when entering, there was very little eye contact and the cashier that ran us up for our cups said every little. I wasn’t too bothered by it, I was anxious to run outside and sit by the fire pit! I believe I enjoyed the fire most of all.

I did a fundraiser here once and the management team was all very nice. They designed the flyer to cater to our non profit. Unfortunately we didn’t make that much, but every bit helps!
This place stays open pretty late… Well late for the valley. They have plenty of toppings and some various flavors for frozen yogurt. They have in door seating as well as outdoor. They even have a little bonfire sometimes outside. You have to rely on street parking because there is a lot that only has room for three cars.

This is by far my favorite Menchie’s location! It’s conveniently located on the corner of Zelzah and Chatsworth and is everything you could ask for in a frozen yogurt place.
They have beautiful outdoor seating and even a fire pit for those cold nights! They have a room for children to dwell in with a chalk board to write on. Another room with an assortment of board games. My cousin and I actually played Jenga yesterday. The game was pretty intense: p. I’ll try to upload a picture with this review.
The flavors are always the best here! Better than any other Menchie’s I’ve been to. The toppings are always top notch and the fruits and such are always fresh! This place is always packed, and I can see why! Menchie’s, in my opinion, has the best frozen yogurt hands down!
The only downside, I’d say, is the parking. They have a few parking spots up front which cover up to 5 cars; otherwise, you’d have to find parking in the back. There is plenty of seating, though! It’s my favorite for the reasons mentioned, but also the atmosphere and vibe this place gives off. The fire pit is perfect and makes sitting outdoors during the fall and winter enjoyable!

I really enjoy coming here, there are always lots of flavors to choose from.
I like to taste all the flavors first but i usually only go home with the plain frozen yogurt, cause i know its really the only thing thats good for me.
I haven’t had bad service anytime that i have ever been here, all the staff and employees are very friendly and nice, the owner is usually here as well on fridays and sometimes on the weekends, He’s very nice as well and very family oriented.
There are so many toppings to choose from here and so many different assortments as well of frozen yogurt flavors, I would suggest to try them all.
theres parking along the street and minimal parking in there tiny lot on the side of the building. They have a fire pit out front as well if your cold you can sit by it or there is quite a bit of space to sit inside as well

If you love Yogurtland, you will not love this.
Their yogurt isn’t as creamy, and that’s just what I prefer.
It’s a good place to hang with friends though, since there’s plenty of seating. The fire pit in the front is a food touch, too.

This location is in the heart of Granada Hills. Where the foods trucks start at every Friday night. Great Location, very busy store. I liked this concept. Self serve with your condiments and so many to choose from. I was like a little kid in a candy store So many different choices to choose from.
I still prefer Ice Cream. They seem to be doing well as a corporate store. I hope they kept up. Be consistent at all locations and provide the best service as possible.

Hands down the best yogurt in town.
They literally have everything for everyone:
adventurous flavors from outrageous to surreal, the usual favorites whipped to perfection, every topping you didn’t even think was possible, indoor and outdoor (yes!) cozy seating, an impressive center fire pit for late night crawlers, play space for cookie monsters from 2 to 80, a crayon treasure trove for every imagined thought, 80s-​90s tunes for your childhood nostalgia… and a young at heart friendly staff to top it all!
Really, what more can your little heart ask for?
I’d move in if I could! =)

A+ for ambiance all the way!
The amazing fire pit outside for those who like myself enjoy eating ice cream on a breezy night but wld prefer not to get a cold.
They also have a an array of board games for those who want to hang out and enjoy some out fashioned Connect 4.
Also the setup of the frozen yogurt self –serve is amazing! Its built in a semi-​circle which in my opinion cuts down on foot traffic and makes everything easier to view from anywhere in the shop
The frozen yogurt was tasty as well! Loads of different flavors to choose from and great toppings. Some seem like money pits and not really all that practical. Like the chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered oreos. They are huge and heavy and not really your traditional yogurt topper. I really loved they had both sugar free and reg granola both great toppers for those who like the crunch but can’t eat nuts.
Overall huge fan !
