History

Established in 2012.

The owners have a strong desire to start a solid local pub in the heart of downtown Grand Junction with an emphasis on friendly service and mouthwatering hand crafted pub food. Simple and sweet but where we know your name and your favorite drink! Plenty of events and places to lounge and party at Charlie’s.

‘Flip night’ on Thursdays here is a great idea. Good spot to get cheap domestic beer and well drinks on the flip special. Bartenders flip a coin to determine if You pay or get a free drink. Dj kinda needs updated. But the reason I rate 1 star is because the owner, «Liz» apparently, was not very nice to any of my party (making rude comments etc), granted we were drinking and having fun… But the owner tries to micromanage the whole bar. I’d love to go back if I wasn’t so hesitant with the owner being rude again. :(

We went out on a snowy Tuesday night to get out of the house lured in by Charlie’s happy hour, $ 1 tacos and free music; blues! The service was excellent, food delicious and music so fun! I like this place. It’s warm and friendly. They cut their own fries and make artichoke dip from scratch. Take a walk on the wild side!

It’s a fine place. It’s huge inside, with a karaōke set up and darts. There is a large outdoor patio for smoking, but you can also dine out there. There’s about 7 craft beers on tap, and the prices are reasonable for food and drink ($ 4.50 pints, sandwiches $ 8 – 11).
The wings aren’t great, the texture was a bit off and they were probably in the freezer for too long. The BLT sandwich was pretty good though. I was just passing through town and this was a fine place to hang for a few drinks and eat, but it was nearly empty when we went in on a Sunday at 7pm. There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot going on in town, so this is an acceptable choice.

Great place to enjoy the patio and super yummy food! Great staff and super friendly owner! Sunday’s are Drag Queen Karaōke (just hosted by drag queens, you don’t have to be one to sing), and Thursday’s are «Flip Night». If you’re looking for a good, hometown bar with great, affordable drinks and simple but good bar eats, Charlie’s is a great place! Also very LGBT friendly!

This bar has a taste of everything in the hart of grand junction, it’s were you go if your looking to to find a friend or meet up with old friends, either way Charlie won’t let you down!

Great food, great staff, huge patio to enjoy a cigar. Try the burger, you will love it. Great crowd of regulars as well as night time crowd. Always comfortable and safe atmosphere! A true gem in the heart of Grand Junction’s downtown Main Street.
