Hertz Rent A Car

Very helpful and lots of cars for a nice selection whatever your needs are. National overbooked and left me stranded even with a condemnation number. Hertz stepped right up and made s very awkward and upsetting situation very comfortable and saved my trip. I’m executive Emerald club with National. This changed my mind about who takes care of their customer

Had a Reservation for a vehicle and when I went to pick it up I was told that they did not have any vehicles for the next couple of days. My insurance company had made the reservation so I was going to try to get them to straighten it out. Before making the call I wanted to make sure I had the information correct. I asked the lady «before I make this call let me make sure I have it right. You have a reservation for me but you do not have a vehicle for me?» Her response was «there are a lot of people waiting for a car» I told her that I didn’t care about them right now… she then said that I just want you to know that you are not the only person wanting a car. I don’t know how many people that Hertz has done this too and really I am use to the Airlines doing the same thing, but when she took that kind of attitude it just added insult to injury! I WAS a gold member but I am no longer. Hertz will NEVER get another Penny of my business. Things happen in life, and I understand that. But to not treat your customers with respect and understanding is just unacceptable. I went over to the ENTERPRISE counter and they went out of their way, even talking to my Insurance company for me to help get me taken care of! So good bye Hertz hello ENTERPRISE.

Super service both inbound and outbound. The customer service reps were awesome, very quick even with a line. The CSR asked if anyone was Number 1 Gold and as he was processing a customer he multi-​tasked and help me too. Very seamless on the departure too. For a small airport Hertz sure did give big time service.

Booked a car that said it was for (5) people and bags. When we got there it was way too small, went to ask for larger car and was charged an additional $ 75 a day!
I hate it when you are in a dilemma and the company just screws you.
I’m a gold plus member but not any more.
This will be the last Hertz rental I do

Picked up my car and the total was quite a bit higher than expected. I noticed my discount code wasn’t applied, so I told the clerk. She assured me it was taken off, but simple math proved that wrong. She then looked at her computer and said now the charge was off for sure, but she couldn’t print a new rental agreement. Sure enough when I returned the car the charge was still there and a different clerk had to remove it for me.
The car was well worn, a little dirty on the interior, and had almost 80,000 miles on it.
The good thing about this Hertz location is how close the counter is to the terminal and how close the cars are to the counter.

Due to being a small airport, it was a little more self-​service type. I had to wait for several minutes while the representative wasn’t anywhere around. Someone else came by and said they would be around in a bit. Otherwise, great experience.

No car rental buses here! Located downstairs on the check-​in level of Grand Junction airport along with the other car rental desks. No Gold Service where your name is posted and you just go to the car. The airport is so small that you just walk out of the side doors and the rental cars are right there. No processing and showing ID at a gate at the end of the parking lot. On return you note your mileage and space number and bring the keys back inside.
