History
Established in 2013.
Legacy Funeral Home was founded January 31, 2013 and opened to the public the end of March 2013. As a new funeral home, we have been fortunate enough to have the confidence of 88 families as of December 2013.
Meet the Manager
Jerry H.
Manager
With over 14 years of experience in the profession, Jerry is committed to excellence in the industry. He has an Embalming License/Funeral Directors License and a degree in Mortuary Science specializing in reconstruction and high-profile families in the Laguna Beach and Palm Springs areas of California.
His family is native to the Western Slope since the 1880s. Jerry started his medical career by enlisting as a Combat Corpsman in the United States Navy and crossed over to 3rd Battalion/8th Marines with the U.S. Marine Corps.
Jerry relocated to the Grand Valley after spending a year in the Caribbean to become a Handicap Scuba Instructor for Veterans with disabilities. «The underwater environment provides a freedom I wish to share with those who are no longer able to use their limbs. I just wanted to give back to those who gave so much.»
