TLC Grooming By Danielle

We were in town, camping from Southern California… Our 12-​year-​old dog lost her bladder overnight, and slept in it… She needed a bath and we had no way to give it to her… I called TLC, they got us in the same day (mind you this was the day after Thanksgiving). When I dropped Sophie off, Danielle was there… It was evident her empathy for the animals… They did a great job we picked her up two hours later clean nails trimmed and happy! I cannot recommend them any higher!

Danielle is so great with our lil furry boys. She does a great job and have now used her for a few cuts. They look so cute when we come pick them up. If you are looking for a place to get your puppies trimmed and bathed, give Danielle a call, she will not disappoint!

Danielle got us in quickly for a bath for our two Boston terriers. She is professional, friendly, and has an excellent demeanor with our dogs (most important to me). Great location, plenty of parking, and fair pricing (I don’t have them professionally groomed often, so it seemed fair to me). We will definitely be back and have no problem recommending her to other dog owners!

I can’t begin to explain how excited I am to have found Danielle and TLC Grooming. My two girls are very important to me. We recently moved to Grand Junction and finding them a groomer I trust was a big concern. Danielle was so friendly and helpful from our first conversation over the phone. I took my girls into see her and a few hours later they were clean, smelling wonderful, and perfectly groomed. She is also so reasonably priced! My girls found their new groomer!

I had no problem with getting an appointment with her. She is very friendly and up beat, has pets herself so she really knows how to handle your pet. Pricing is a lot better then most places out there.

After calling another groomer who was booked past Christmas i gave Danielle at TLC Grooming a call and she was able to fit me in the same day! Her pricing was crazy reasonable and she did a wonderful job with my toy Japanese chin/​Maltese mix’s groom. I am always a nervous wreck when we use somebody new because my dog is TINY but he did great with her.
My dog Tokyo was the least freaked out as i have ever seen him when i picked him up from Danielle. Tokyo was the only dog in her office while being groomed which i appreciated. Danielle was done with Tokyo in a little over one hour so that was great too. He had never been so soft and fluffy! I am not sure what shampoo or conditioner she may have used be he looked great and his coat was so smooth.
I am sorry to say we do not live in the area otherwise Danielle would be our new groomer. I would absolutely recommend her to others. Thanks for the great groom job on Tokyo! We will be sure to visit again when we are in the area.

We had lived in Grand Junction a month and it was way past time to get the mongrels cut. I called around and Danielle had the most reasonable rates. My two dogs (which are cocker/​poodle and cocker/​shih tzu) were $ 35 each. Everywhere else quoted $ 40 – 45.
Turns out Danielle has owned Angora rabbits in the past which she groomed — check out her pictures! — and has been grooming for about 6 years.
After a short talk about what I hoped she’d do to the pups (okay, I’m an over-​bearing Mama!!), I left them in her care and 3 short hours later they were both ready! She did a wonderful job — the cuts were exactly as good as the groomer I’ve grown to trust in Texas (went to her 5 years before moving to Colorado), so I’ll definitely be back.
Her downtown location with a free parking lot right out front was easy to get to, small, and very welcoming — the dogs were actually excited to be left in her care! And you can’t beat the 3 hours it took — my other groomer would have them up to 8 hours some days. Also, I was able to get them in for haircuts the day after I made the call to schedule an appointment.
My boy dog got a nice red bandana (none of that sparkly, girly stuff some groomers give boy dogs), and my girl dog got cute little hot pink feathers with rhinestones :) I love it when she comes back from the groomer looking all girly, especially since I know the hair-​pretties will be off in about 4 days regardless of how long I want them on there (she likes to roll…) Oh and *gross out alert for the faint of heart* Danielle trims nails, cleans ears, and checks anal glands… which I totally appreciate :)
Anyway, sorry for the long review — I paid the right price, my dogs look perfect, it was totally convenient to get in and out (cash or check only, but I’m used to that from my last groomer), and Danielle was a very nice and attentive groomer. So give her a try!

Danielle is great at what she does. She has a cute little place in downtown that is so much less frightening than any of the other mainstream joints for my little ball of fluff. She is very well priced and takes her time with your animal until it is done just right.
