Just got a tow and the guy had bad work ethics. The passanger seat belt wasnt working and we asked him to help us figure our how to fix it or jump over to the back sit. Dude dint want to listen to us kept on talking bout he dont care blablabla talking bout they woke him up to do a tow. And his attitude was jus off for 45 min drive. Worst service tow in ma life. Do not use this company. Worst idiots ever.

I had my vehicle towed less than 8 miles and was charged $ 80. That was not the worst of it though, Whom ever the driver was siphoned the gas out of my tank, I had just filled the tank, before stopping at a Waffle House I visit regularly. .After Parking I could not back up. So I called Dave’s Hi-​way for a tow. It did not take them long to pick up my truck.
When the driver pulled up to my house he tried to charge me $ 85 instead of the $ 80 I was quoted. Then after finding out my fuel had been stolen and my filler neck had been busted by losing its flapper valve. (caused by stuffing a large hose into the neck for siphoning).
The true cost of my tow job was $ 80 towing + $ 46 stolen fuel = $ 126.00
After the discovery I talked to the owner who denied any of his drivers would do such thing. So he was calling me a liar. He even said there was no way to siphon fuel on his trucks. This is a lie as well. Wreckers need siphon tools encase they pick up a vehicle with a leaking fuel tank. That often happens after a wreck. They even list Emergency Fuel Delivery (Gas Delivery) as a service. I am sure my gas went into someones tank.
He had the audacity to insist I apologize
I told him, «I am not looking for repayment, I am telling you that you have a problem».
The owner «Christopher Lovel» was rude and in denial. He stated all his drivers had background checks and lie detector test. before hiring them. This gives them a Confidential (Level I) for handling personnel information such as credit cards, cash and possessing your vehicle.
That is when I told him that I had a Level 5 security clearance and had been trained to be a PERSONAL PROTECTION OFFICER. An individual who acts as a personal protection officer if the individual, while carrying a firearm, provides to another individual personal protection from bodily harm. An individual who is acting as a personal protection officer and is not wearing the uniform of a security officer shall conceal the firearm even on a plane as long as he is protecting his assignment. To be simple a licensed body guard who has the authority to carry a concealed firearm. The object is not to shoot people but to remove your assignment from hostile situations in a non lethal way if possible.
So, that kinda shut him up and his tone changed. He stated he would check on the driver and the vehicle he was in. He also said that he had issued credit cards to all his drivers so there should be no reason for them to steal gas. I suggested to him that it is often the most trusted employee that is stealing from him. Research has proven this theory to be true in embezzlement cases. I suggested that that his driver might have a drug problem or his wages are not meeting his immediate needs. This is often why a good employee turns bad. With the current economic crisis and gas prices the theft of gasoline is on the rise.
