Stopped in for Breakfast this morning. I ordered the chicken fried steak, 2 eggs over medium and 2 strawberry pancakes. The chicken fried steak was huge, I rarely eat fried foods so to me it tasted a little greasy. The pancakes were good, I would have preferred fresh strawberries then the strawberry syrup. It was pretty slow when I arrived at 7am so perfect time to enjoy the food and quick service.

We came here on a Friday evening and saw that the parking lot had just a few parked cars so we thought we could order our food and get it quickly. Boy were we wrong! We placed our order and waited for 45 minutes to get our food and when we finally got it we had to wait for our utensils. The food was ok. We also ordered crepes which we never got. We decided not to say anything about it b/c we would probably have to wait at least a ½ hour to get them! Then we asked for a to-go box and never got it so we just paid and left. This place used to be a great place to come and eat at but now it has definitely gone down in ratings and for good reason.

The food was tasteless and we got our food before we got utensils. We had to ask for them. My chicken sandwich wasn’t spicy at all and the eggs was burnt

Our visit to this IHOP was on Sunday morning. Really wanted a omelet. Wife and I walked in behind a party of 8. No hostess at the door. While waiting, an older lady walked in after us, walked by us to request a table. That’s when the host and hostess show up. This is strike 1. As a party of two we were seated quickly, but took about 5 minutes for drink orders to be taken. Coffee, OJ and water brought pretty quickly, but not given a choice on size for the 2OJ’s, given large. Wife ordered a glass of milk to be brought out with her meal. Order given, then again another 10 to 15 minutes for food to show up. It was straight off the menu, nothing extra. Asked for hot sauce when the food was delivered. First bite, food is luke warm at best. Pancakes were hard to cut and they must have counted each slice of peaches on my pancakes. My wife ordered fruit crepes, eggs and bacon. She mentioned, the crepes were cold and she never got her milk. Strike 2. Finish the meal, and start to set the plates aside when the waitress stops by the table after taking the order. Understand, she had walked pass our table at least 5 times waiting on other tables(the restaurant was not packed) without stopping. Asked if everything was okay. I just want out, my wife asked about being charged for the milk she never received. $ 30 + dollars for a breakfast for two is a bit pricey for such poor service and product. Strike 3 Will not be back. NOTE: The reason we decided to go back to this location was because of the experience last Mother’s Day. Gave my wife and mom a rose. Thought, that was a good place, let’s go back. Not anymore! Wife’s input food was cold, waited too long for it to be served. server forgot about us and when she did return it was a «drive-by». Never offered the choice between small or large orange juice, asked for milk with the meal, never received. Made sure that it was not included on bill due to her mistake. Would not return to this location due to poor service, cold food and overall experience.

We visited this IHOP on Saturday morning/afternoon for a late brunch. It was packed wall-to-wall, which is usually a pretty good sign. After eating here though, I think the reason it was packed was because people were looking for breakfast food at noon, I mean it is an IHOP after all. Our server was great. He checked on us multiple times and was friendly while doing so, despite how packed/frenetic things were. So our service was a 5, But the food unfortunately, was bland. I ordered cinnamon sugar French toast, and honestly the breakfast cereal with a very similar name tastes better. My hash browns were burnt, and eggs weren’t seasoned. I come to IHOP to indulge but I think on this visit I was somehow being punished by the diet police. They were slammed so I understand that sometimes the food suffers, I’d say on this trip the food was a 2⁄5. Stellar coffee and service, but so-so food.

This is our neighborhood IHOP so we know this store well. We’ve lived in the neighborhood about 9 years and go to this store maybe 6 times a year. One thing we always expect is that service will be slow. It takes a long time for food to come out after you order. So be ready for this. Also be ready for them to take an order from a nearby table that was sat after you first. We know all this but still go because sometimes we crave breakfast for dinner. As far as the food goes it is typical what you expect. There is a sign on the front door that says free WiFi but it is very weak to non-existent so don’t count on it.

I had a good experience here. For a Saturday morning, service was fast. Outstanding customer service.

I’m going to start this review off saying that I’ve been a server for 3 ½ years now. I’m normally very understanding of bad food/service but this was insane. When we were sat, our server who was with another table at the time acknowledged us and said she’d be right over, and then she disappeared in the back for 11 minutes(I have a strange habit of timing my servers, simply because I am one). I’m all for letting a table know that you’re a bit busy, and it might take a minute to get to them, but 11 minutes for a drink order? The standard greet time in restaurants is from 2 – 4 minutes. When she took our drink order, we went ahead and placed our food order as well, because we were unsure of how long it would take for her to get back to us. In the meantime, a party larger than ours was seated in the same dining room and they received their drinks as well as food before us(granted, they had a different server) When our food finally came out, it was cold. I understand, you’re busy, the food probably sat in the window for a bit, but who wants to eat cold eggs? We asked to speak with a manager and politely mentioned that our food was cold. He muttered«I’ll get new ones out for you» and quickly walked away. He never apologized, and we actually didn’t want any new food. Considering it took our food 50 minutes to come out the first time, we didn’t feel like waiting again for food that may still come out cold. By the time we were able to track down our server to tell her, I’m sure the food had already began to be prepared which I felt bad about, but as a manager, it’s your job to figure out what the customer wants and it was out of our hands. I’m really bummed about this experience.

Wait time was not bad. Staff needs a bit more training. Food was border line cold, but the pancakes… what happened– they were over cooked, who burns pancakes?

I came in here with a party of about 15, and it was like 8:30 A.M. Walking in here, nobody was at the front to greet, so my friend and I just went to our table. I would get to more little, sweet details, but to sum it up, the service was bad. For about 10 – 15 minutes, I was just sitting there. I HAD to raise my hand like a kid in a classroom just to get my order. Scratch that, to even get my drink. So the server came up to me when she was able to and I asked if I could go ahead and order. The server sighed at us and she made this face and asked what we wanted to order. The majority of the table and noticed and even pointed it out afterwards. Like I understand it’s morning, and it might’ve been unusual to have a big party this early so you’re kind of in a rush, but you shouldn’t take that out on your customers. If iHop is 24 hours, let’s hope good service is, too. That’s not all. Order was taking too long, and I already had to go, I had been there for about half an hour. I was ready to walk out, I cancelled my order, and when I was about to, the server said, «It’s ready now so you have to pay for it.» I cancelled it??? What? I work at a restaurant myself and you don’t even have to work at one to know that you can just cancel the order if you needed to. I was tired of dealing with that lady’s attitude so I paid, got my food to-go to get my money’s worth, and then I just dipped. I don’t plan on going back unless there’s nothing else open around; food was good, thus the 2nd star.

Service stinks. We arrived and there was no «hello» or «we will be right with you». What made me more mad was that a group behind us got seated before us. Before I could say anything the manager walked away. Didn’t apologize just didn’t care. I was so upset that we stormed off. Don’t bother coming here. Just go to Denny’s on the other side of the street.

We waited more than 30 minutes to get our food, which we never did! Our waitress must have forgotten about us, because I saw her warming up the food in the microwave. Stay away from this place.

I will never go back to this place again in life!!! After drinking my Pepsi I found a white strand of hair in my glass. I called the waitress over to tell her and she apologized and subtracted the drink off my ticket. When I got to the front to pay I told the manager and he was very nonchalant. Who wants to eat and drink hair??? They should be wearing hair nets anyway when fixing food.

We waited over 15 minutes to get our order taken and to do so we had to flag down a waitress.

This IHOP location is pretty typical. They serve breakfast all day, everyday, which is great for a nice post-workout brunch on a Saturday. Although this location can get slammed at times, I’ve never waited more than 10 – 15 minutes for a table(even with a large party of 6). The food is typical IHOP quality. Decent pancakes and omelets, nothing out of the ordinary. For me, I’m big on customer service and this location does not disappoint in that area. Every server I’ve had has been attentive and pleasant. I will keep coming back to this location when I want a quick, low key breakfast.

Not too shabby. It was super crowded when we went, but of course it was a Saturday. Our waitress was okay. She wasn’t super friendly, but she wasn’t mean either. Just okay. The restaurant was clean, which is important. But I gotta say I love them buttermilk pancakes and that steak omelet with the salsa. Just yum and both can make my day!

Went here because it was the least crowded spot for brunch. Coffee was not very good, but I didn’t have high expectations. The hubby got OJ which was very good. I had pancakes, eggs, and sausage, all were pretty good. It’s not my favorite spot but will do when I want a basic breakfast.

It is my duty to save you all from this horrible IHOP location. They have an unventilated smoking section which isn’t closed off from the rest of the restaurant. The entire place stinks like smoke whenever there are smokers in there. The food is decent, but the smoking really kills it. GRANDPRAIRIE get with the program and ban smoking from all restaurants already. If you are a non-smoker, take I-20 a few more exist west and go to the Arlington location instead.
