This place seemed authentic so we decided to try it out especially since it was located pretty close to me. Their menu seems to have a variety of different items like caldo, menudo, tamales, enchiladas etc… My girlfriend was craving some tamales so we ordered a dozen of those. Too bad they only come in pork. We are also a big fan of street tacos so we decided to check theirs out. They had fajita beef, chicken, Barbacoa and al pastor. We ordered their pastor tacos. The pastor meat was way too salty and there were huge chunks of fat in the tacos. They also only have cilantro on their tacos while other places have diced onions as well. Their red salsa tasted like the salsa from a Picante bottle. The green salsa wasn’t that great either. The tamales were alright… Their smaller in size than normal. The shredded pork was also a bit dry and the flavoring was kind of bland. Overall I think next time i will drive a little farther for a better place unless the weather is super cold and horrible.

I basically go there to buy their tortilla chips they sell from another company. Only go because they are down the street. Pretty much one of those last resort places to go to because I’m too lazy to drive to the good spots.

I came here the other day and had their enchiladas with rice and beans, and I just loved it! I have gone there a few times before but it was to buy some tortilla chips and pico de gallo, which is really good; I will definitely be coming back for more ~

I’m surprised by the negative reviews on here. I have tried the barbacoa. OMG, the most tender, delicious, tasty meat ever. Served with cilantro and onions on tortilla… its delicious… deff. not diet approved. Also love their fresh pan, mexican bread. You can go in there any day, and they have a variety. Delish! Tamales have always been good too. Moist, and fresh.(Sometimes on the small side, but tasty!) I think you will have to try this place for yourself, and see if you like it.

Poor service. The lady. Taking our order was extremely rude and unpleasant. The food was terrible. Burrito cold and tortilla was wet and soggy. I can’t tell you how disappointing It was. We spent 16.00 because they refused to accept our groupon because it was for the location in Arlington. We called the number listed to verify but the number listed was for Arlington not grand prairie. I’ll continue to give my business to the other little taco shop by my house. Don’t waste your money! Oh and I asked for extra salsa because the salsa cups were only ¼ full and the lady argued with me. My burrito I paid full price for didn’t have meat because I’m a vegeterian. When I brought that to her attention she basically threw the salsa at me… hopefully when I go to redeem my ggroupon in Arlington, the people there wont be so disgustingly rude.

Tried this place because I had a free $ 10 Groupon and it’s near my neighborhood. I got a combo plate with a chicken taco, tamale, chicken enchilada, and rice & beans. My husband got a few breakfast tacos and a gordita. Most of it was not good. The taco was ok but I would expect a better tortilla from a «tortilla factory». The tortillas tasted store bought. The enchilada had a really weird taste and the tamale was hard and almost crunchy. They did cook the chicken in the enchilada and taco well. It was a mix of white and dark meat and was not dry or overcooked. We also tried the flautas, which were not bad but not something I’d come back here for. The gordita was also not bad. Nothing really stood out and I will not be returning. I’d rather drive a little further to Taco Cabana for better tacos and Mexican food!

Love the breakfast tacos(burritos). Their actual breakfast burrito is massive. While my husband loved it, he could barely eat a quarter of it. The barbarcoa on Sunday is pretty good, it’s also the neighborhood, so it’s a quick drive. Overall will go back to get a true tex-mex fix!

I went here when I was 8 month pregnant and got a burrito, the biggest burrito they have, thinking it would compare to chipotle. NOWAY. The chicken was cold, the vegetables were not fresh. I haven’t been back since.

I stopped here today due to a groupon I had which I got for free thanks to a credit from Groupon. I ordered 2 chicken gorditas, chips and queso and three of their mexican cookies. The priced are unbelievable my total was less than $ 10. The gordita shells were really tasty, very soft and the chicken was tender and flavorful. I didn’t get to eat it while hot but had to rewarm it and it was still very good. I had a frosted cookie which I really like because it wasn’t overly sweet and the texture was cake-cookie like. very good. overall I would definitely visit this restaurant again

I recently went to this bakery looking for some dessert. I picked up a piece of tres leches cake and a flan. I brought them home and tried them both but I was not impressed. The tres leches was very grainy, almost like a corn bread texture and the flan, while nice and creamy, did not have much flavor at all. I really expected more. I noticed the bakery also offers breakfast and lunch burritos, tacos, etc. I may come back again just to try that but I will not try the desserts again.
