Established in 1984.
Trinity Metropolitan Community Church is a growing Christian ministry serving God and community with a special outreach to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender persons and allies with the message of God’s inclusive love and grace.
The Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC) were founded in 1967 by Rev. Troy Perry when he began to preach that Gay and Lesbians were not excluded from God’s plan, and that God loves each person the way they are.
Since then MCC and the Gay Community movement has become world wide. Proclaiming the exciting news of the all embracing love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Trinity MCC of Arlington, Texas is proud to be a part of this movement celebrating our differences in the unity and fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
Meet the Manager
Curtis S.
Manager
Pastor Curtis has been in ministry for 20+ years and has faithfully served at Trinity MCC for 11 of those years. He has training in counseling and is able to offer pastoral care to those having problems with their sexuality and/or spiritual journey.
Pastor Curtis had served in conservative non-gay affirming churches before coming to Trinity. He was gay but kept that secret closeted and even participated in reparative/conversion therapy to try to pray away the gay. «It was a heart-wrenching time, feeling that I had to be perfect and straight or that God would never love me,» Pastor Curtis reveals.
«I was so blessed to find a loving and accepting community of faith, that was serious about their walk with God and each other. It was a blessing to find wholeness and integrity in my life and know that God loved me and that my attraction to people of the same gender was a gift, not a curse. Consider Trinity MCC if you are looking for a welcoming place of healing and love.
