About a year ago I took my car in for a wheel bearing replacement after finding Russ on Google. After returning to the shop at the end of the estimated time for the repair I saw that my car still had not been touch and was sitting in the parking lot. Russ pulled it into the garage and told me it’d be 45 more mins. An hour and a half waiting in his dingy, cold office, my car was «ready». When I drove it away, the dash computer warned me that the ABS and traction control systems were not operating. Russ told me that he’d take care of the issue as soon as he could. After nearly a month of calling and trying to get Russ to fix the issue, he got it in and replaced something (I’m not sure what exactly he did — it wasn’t clear). I drove away with everything working correctly. A few days later, the issue returned, although this time spotty and inconsistent. After yet another 4 – 6 weeks of calling and trying to get him to set the time aside in order to attempt to fix the issued again, I simply gave up. I was tired of hearing his excuses regarding constant vacations and being «slammed» with other customers. When the weather warmed, the issue vanished, and I chose to forget about it with the sinking feeling in my gut that it would return with the following winter. Fast forward to last night’s winter storm, my sinking feeling was right. Now I’m stuck with a sedan originally garnished with a variety of winter-​friendly traction and safety features that might as well be as good as driving an economy tin can.
TL;DR — don’t be fooled by Russ’s promises of fair prices and speedy return time. Even if you don’t have an issue with the part installed, he won’t hold up to much else.

Russ is the man! Very reasonable rates. He uses top quality parts, not the same garbage you pick up off the shelf at O’Reilly’s like most do, so his parts rates are a little high.
He never oversells. Which is a huge plus in my book.
The only thing is, the last time was was there a year ago, he was a one-​man shop. So if you are in a hurry, it’s not the place to go.
