This place is awesome. They have a huge menu with a ton of options– Mexican, American, pasta. You name it and the have it. Had the nachos for an app– came out quick and were delicious. They have a veggie burger in their menu which is what I had. The staff is friendly and the service is great

I’m sorry to have to write this review. I have been going to Bud & Stanley’s for years and LOVED their Spicy Chicken Burrito and have recommended it to many people HOWEVER I’m sad to say that it is not the same anymore. The sauce is thinner and not as spicy and there is hardly any cheese. I sent it back for more cheese and it still was hard to find. The waitress said that there are cameras watching the cooks now so they don’t put on too much cheese. I went there tonight craving that burrito and after eating it, I’m STILL craving it. I’m sorry to see this happen for the sake of a bigger profit.

This place is all right. Everything was just satisfactory. Nothing was great, nothing was bad as far as ambience, food quality or price. 1.) The ambience is that of a pub mixed with a family restaurant. Surprisingly, it works here. Unlike most bars, there are windows and it was neither dark nor drab. I was there early evening on a saturday, but it’s hard to imagine the place getting very rowdy. There were lots of kids in the restaurant and a couple of tame winos at the bar. The room was crowded and a little bit on the cramped side, but not bad. 2.) The menu was decent as far as quantity of choices and there were a few unique things(pasties). The food quality was satisfactory. It was all prepared well, just a little bit lacking in the flavor department. So that happened. It was fine. I don’t plan on going back.

They run an all you can eat whitefish on Wednesday from 4 to close. I ordered the fish at 5:45 pm. When it came I got 2 small pieces that must have been battered and fried at least two times. Very little fish inside. So I ordered more. Got 2 more small pieces. I decided to try the baked only to be told by my server Jackie that they ran out of fish. Why in the hell would you run a special and run out and still charge the customer full price??? Very disappointed in you Buds!!!

Best ribs in Grand Rapids! Actually all their food is great! Plenty of seating inside and out. Service is fantastic, wait staff very friendly. I would have given them 5 stars, except parking is terrible. I would go there more, but never enough parking spots, especially on weekends.

This has been one of our go to restaurants since we moved to Grand Rapids, almost 12 years ago. It is named after the owners two dogs– can’t go wrong for this dog lover here! We’ve tried so many different things appetizer wise but our favorites are the potato skins, deep fried pickles, all are very good! Salad wise we’ve had the Taco Salad and Fajita salad, both are great portions for the price! The Burgers and French fries are one of our favorite things here! They also have a pretzel bun that is great. Monday is $ 5 burger fries and a beer– don’t miss it! Also, fantastic French fries here! Sandwich wise the BS Club and O’Buds are killer! That housemade honey mustard, wow! The chicken fingers are great with that honey mustard or homemade ranch. This sounds crazy, but the wet burritos are the best we’ve had! They are a great size and has an awesome meat sauce. Another fave on the Mexican menu are the Chimi, it’s so good! I’m a HUGE fan of their sizzlers! I feel that the best is the Bleu Steak with their Bleu cheese sauce, wow, I dream about it!!! I also enjoy the New Orleans pasta if I want something spicy! They have a great $ 5.50 lunch menu! Be sure try it! There is a good drink menu, house wines, local beers and happy hour is 3 – 6. The service is always great and the manager always stops by to ask how everything was. The prices and portions are great and it is one of our go to places and when people come in from out of town and they enjoy it! The décor is decked out for the holidays! One year we got our photo with Santa and have also heard an Irish band there for St Patty’s Day. Its very family friendly and has Keno. It’s a great local option that we love.

Very rude service at the bar. Jackie(bar tender) was very unfriendly and rude. I’ve never been treated so poorly. Besides that, the good and atmosphere was really great!

Well I decided to try Bud & Stanley’s due to the fact they are one of the few places in Grand Rapids that have Goulash on its menu. They give you a large portion for a decent price. Your meal comes with a loaf of multi grain bread with honey butter. I also had a cherry coke. The Goulash was very good but I have had better. The loaf of bread was good even though I don’t love multi grain. The cherry coke was very fresh. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was loud but pleasant. They have many things on the menu that look good. To name 2 I would say Meatloaf and a Burger with BBQ Pulled pork on top. If they were on the south side of town I would be back as it is I’m rarely on the north side.

I’m normally not a sandwhich kind of girl, but their Twisted Club is to die for! I get it everytime, it’s just soooo good! And it’s big too, I never eat more than half of it. I always take the other half home with me so I can finish it later with nothing left to waste!

I’ve been there 2 times now and have yet to be impressed with the service. A few of the drinks I’ve had have tasted watered down, so either they are OR the bar-tender had no clue how to make them! I’ve gone on Saturday nights when they have karaōke and have enjoyed that part of it. They also do have some pretty good food… once you can get the waitress to come over to help you! All in all, I will continue to go, but mainly for the entertainment!

What a nice surprise this was. Tried because I had a coupon and there is not much to choose from in this area. Really friendly service and nice comfy atmosphere. Mom had jambalaya, which she really enjoyed, with enough spice to make her face turn red. I had a burger with a pretzel bun, both tasted fresh and homemade. I also Had a cup of chili which was very tasty. Menu had a nice variety, looking forward to returning to try other choices.

Excellent food — my boyfriend’s family go on Monday’s for the $ 5 burger/brew special and talk about what a great deal it is. I got a veggie sandwich and it was great.

My first time there, lunch on a Saturday. When we arrived and the lot was almost full I was optimistic, other people like eating here. I had a turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll, which was fantastic. Good service, nice building, wonderful food.

Had to double check to see i there were previous reviews for this place! Suprised I’m the first! Well, let me give credit where credit is due. What a great place. have always had a great experience here. The food is fantastic, they are always busy, but not too busy to get you in. Every thing we’ve tried we’ve loved. The service is outstanding, friendly and consistent. It’s just a good restaurant that shows pride of ownership, professional staff and good food at fair prices. We have been there maybe 6 times and the overall quality of service and food has been amazingly consistent. Good job B&S.
