Nigga why would you claim that you have Indian cuisine when your samosa is sweet. Samosas are not meant to be sweet. I even took it to a gathering and no one liked it. I was so embarrassed.

The Cubano with an over easy egg inside is amazing! We named it The Billy. You won’t be disappointed.

Back to Grand Rapids for an impromptu road trip and decide to go to this little gem and eat. It’s been really cool rediscovering my old city and the many places I used to frequent. Graydon’s did not disappoint.
First off they have a full bar with a list of micro-​brews that would leave any beer snob or enthusiast envious. I enjoyed a couple of the darker beers and the wife had a couple fruity Founders beers she loved. Things were starting off correct.
On to the food. We split a wrap that had chicken and basmati rice with an orange remoulade in it. Quite delicious! I was totally satisfied. Also had the jalapeño poppers which are completly unique in that it is an actual jalapeño grilled and wrapped with bacon and stuffed with some creamy cheesy mixture and spiced up appropriately to boot.
Service was great and the food was awesome. Graydon’s you done did it again! We were happy to have made it!

British — Indian fusion twist on the typical pub fare with a great selection of beers and friendly staff. We stopped by on Memorial Day which is why I’m guessing the service was a little slower than the average pub.
The portions are HUGE! Between the 4 of us we ordered the samosas, butter chicken, two burritos, fish tacos and the cypress sandwich. They have a decent selection of healthyish/​meatless dishes, which was especially great since it happened to be meatless Monday with half off on the said dishes.
Almost all our food was great, especially the samosas and the butter chicken which came with the softest little triangles of naan. The fish tacos were a bit of a disappointment because they were dry and needed more of the delicious mango habanero salsa.
As Indians, it was really cool to see everyday dishes from our cuisine in a bar food format.
I didn’t have any alcohol but all 3 of my friends were absolutely stoked with their choices — wheat ales and a stout.
Be prepared to share plates or leave with takeout boxes like we did!

Honestly the food isn’t really anything to get excited about. They do have a great craft beer selection though. There is just way too much Indian inspired food on the menu.

Interesting Indian/​Irish fusion menu. Everything I’ve tried here is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I recently went here for St. Patricks day and they had a special menu with awesome irish classics. My husband ordered the guinness stew and i regret not ordering it too because it was so good! They also have sandwich and wrap options in addition to larger entrees, depending on how hungry you are! There are drink and food specials for everyday of the week so check it out!

I have visited GC several times over past many years and have never been impressed. The only reasons I have dined there is upon the request of my husband or to meet others for a drink. It’s a good location for that purpose.
I visited GC again last night on my husband’s request and felt it was high time I wrote this review.
We split the Jalapeño Poppers and Fish Tacos.
Both were weak. The poppers were not warm enough, as in cooked temperate, and the bacon was too soggy. The fish tacos were edible, but not tasty and, again, not warm enough (the tortilla shells were refrigerator cold).
There tap list is good, but am really reviewing the food, which in my opinion, has never been good. My husband finally agrees with me and we won’t go back to eat, just drink.
Sadly, disappointed again.

We were randomly bouncing around GR on Sunday and drove past this place. My fiancée said, «What’s that place?! It looks cool…» so after driving past it, we checked Unilocal,and then turned around and stopped in. We’re glad we did.
Originally, we were only planning on stopping for a drink, but one drink led to two, and that led to an appetizer. We kept checking out everyone’s food as it came by and everything looked and smelled amazing. We weren’t quite ready for a meal, but we didn’t want to leave without sampling something. At the bartender’s suggestion, we tried the jalapeño poppers. You never really know what you’re going to get with jalapeño poppers, but these are not the breaded and fried pieces of garbage you normally get at bars/​restaurants. There is no breading. They’re not fried. And they’re delicious. Highly recommend. The portion is modest, but it was exactly what we were looking for. We almost ordered a second round.
They had a ton of beers on tap. I’d guess 40 – 50. There’s something for everyone here. Next time I’m in town, I definitely want to eat a meal here.

I’ve ordered something different every time that I’ve come here. Mainly because I haven’t found anything that I particularly liked. I have the tandoori chicken wrap the first time I was there and it wasn’t what I imagined it was. It wasn’t bad it just didn’t suit my taste. The second time I ordered a burger which was just okay. And the third time I got a quesadilla. The quesadilla was good. I would order it again.
Mainly go to this place for the environment. The ambiance is great, it’s close to work, easily accessible parking, and a great overall place to hang out and chat. Food was ok but mainly go there to meet with coworkers and friends.

I’ve been a happy Graydon’s Crossing patron for the past 20 some years. Each time has proven to be an enjoyable experience and a calling to come back soon. Their food is deliciously stylish and on par with high class dining. The food menu has changed substantially over the years however it has only improved.
When here, I mostly venture the endless offerings of Ales but it is hard to ignore the food. I fell in love long ago with their thick and hearty hand dipped beer battered onion rings. The rings are served with an addictive cilantro ranch dip that pares so well, de-​lish-​ous! It is a must share item because you can literally feel your arteries clogging plus they are very filling. Many a mornings I would wake up to a strange craving for Graydon’s rings… they are that additive.
They have a roasted garlic hummus appetizer that is very inviting too. It goes well with any ale and is served with an in house naan bread. Priced at just under $ 10, there is plenty to share or take some home. For a ‘can’t go wrong’ lunch, I often will order the Drunkin Dip. It’s incredibly good and the menu describes it as «slow braised brisket with a melted provolone cheese blend. Served on organic local ciabatta bread with pale ale braising jus’.» When reading that, I’m sold at ‘a melted cheese blend’! It is as good as it is described. They have so much more on the menu and you can’t go wrong because everything they do is gourmet and over the top.
On to the beer! This place is a true English pub. Filled with fresh beer and a crazy wide selection. I love the heavy thick and aged menus you’re presented with that have several pages of beer, whiskey and wine selections. I like to sample beers here that I would otherwise not order at other places. What really sold me on Graydon’s Crossings is that it was at one time the only place (I knew of) that actually had Delirium Tremens Pink Elephant on tap! It was the Crème de la crème of beer to me and that fact that any place would actually have it on tap was strictly mind blowing! When I found out, the challenge was on and I could not turn away, my tunnel vision was locked on!!! … That’s about the last thing I remembered other than some faint memories of the back door, an alley and the undercarriage of my car. Thankfully yes, I had someone else able to bring me home. It was the best of times and the worst. I still dream of that pink elephant tap. It’s still there at Graydon’s but sadly the delirium had runneth dry :(Probably a blessing in disguise.
All in all, I’ve had many astonishing and also not so pleasing ales here but for whatever reason they are all enjoyable. I think a lot of that is due to the inviting interior of Graydon’s Crossings. The place is very relaxing and warm. Ron Burgundy would say ‘it’s like a rich dark wooden ship, ready to sail a virgin ocean.’ You can find solace sitting at the bar or any of the ample booths and tables. Graydon’s Crossings has always been and will always be a place that can provide your next great adventure.

We got some late pickup food. Our samosas were really bland, our risotto was meh, our tandoori chicken sandwich was soggy and skimpy, and our onion rings were so burned they were inedible. Worst 40 dollars ever spent.

I love Grayson’s! It is the closest bar to my house, so I obviously end up here often! Aside from that, they always have a pretty impressive tap list, and if you’re really experienced there’s always something to be found in the beer tome!
The food here is mostly great! I come for meatless Monday’s a lot. The soups and salads are delicious! The veggie burger is good, but I would only get it on Mondays as its not huge or spectacular. The mushroom vindaloo on the other hand is out of this world!!! The Indian fish tacos are just okay, but the fries and garlic aioli are bangin! I love it that they usually give you a little sample of their chutney. That makes me happy!
My only complaints are that the fish in the fish and chips doesn’t taste as fresh as other fish I’ve had around town — however it’s such a mountain of food if you’re hungry it’s totally worth it! And sometimes the service can be lacking.
That being said, sometimes the service is beyond excellent! And they totally let me work here uninterrupted for hours! Their wifi works great and I’ve even come to paint here with a friend and they were very supportive!
I love the dim ambiance and the true British pub feel.
Graydons is always a top priority to show any visiting friends!

I have been to Graydons in the past for dinner and was dissatisfied. The menu and chef recently has changed and I’m glad I gave it another try, the food was really good! I ordered off the weekly specials (a fish sandwich) but my husband ordered off the mainstay menu and his was also really good. No lack in flavor!
We love the extensive beer menu and knowledgable staff about their beer menu. I’m glad they made changes, we will definitely be back soon!

This is one of my stand-​by spots for when I can’t decide to on a place for both good food and drinks. They always have an impressive selection of beer on tap and one of the best vegetarian dish selections in town and they are constantly changing things up on their menu. The hit mark in basically every category: food, drinks, ambience, service, and reasonable prices. I’ve never had a bad experience there.
I’m a huge fan of their meatless Mondays (obviously) and their Maitake Mushroom Vindaloo dish is to die for, just fyi…

Let’s start off with the food. Absolutely delicious. We had the jalapeño poppers that were wrapped in bacon, and the shrimp laid on a bed of slaw made with curry (I forgot the name). They both were amazing. For our entrée we had the mushroom vinadoo? And my mom had the mac-​n-​cheese. Both were also very good.
Our server was attentive.
The reason for 4 stars, I saw a family waiting to be seated with a young boy playing with a tray stand, and the hostess just took it and hung it up on the side of the hostess stand with the rest of the tray stands. She had an annoyed look on her face and without looking she closed it and put it away. Now if my child was playing with something, and the worker just closed the tray stand and caught his/​her fingers in it, I would be pissed. I understand that this is a pub, but when children are around, as a worker you have to have at least some patience. They are just children anyways. You accommodate to your guests.
Will I be back? Definitely. I’ll probably leave the kids at home next time though.

Went there a couple nights ago and had the Indian style burrito (excellent spice to it!) and pork loin sandwich (on special), as well as the samosa appetizer. Everything was great and their beer selection is very impressive. Great place if you’re looking for something a little different as the flavors are British and Indian. Definitely recommend it if you’re a foodie!

Cool pub atmosphere and a great staff!
We were exhausted after driving all day and almost went somewhere in walking distance to our hotel — we were all glad we didn’t! My friend got the quinoa soup and salad — she LOVED both! Then my other friend got the chef special — chicken kabobs — he said they were great too! As for me — I got the fish n chips — 3 large pieces and very good!
I’d def go back! Enjoy!!!

Grand Rapidians online and in person talk up Graydon’s Crossing all the time, so I felt obligated to go check it out. And let me quote the great poet Eddie Money, «I think I’m in love.»
I dig the relaxed atmosphere with an interior closely resembling that of a British pub. High-​backed booths provide some privacy and intimacy should you go with a small group. They have a wonderfully-​extensive beer, wine, and spirits menu, as well as chalkboard specials, suggestions, and staff favorites. I went with a flight of five beers, the stand-​out being Short’s Black Chai cream ale.
Every item we ordered off the menu looked and tasted fantastic: the butter chicken was decadently rich, with nice, bright spices and fresh ginger. The Mister had their Cuban
and it was gone before I could even try a bite! Even the child’s meal was excellent, a burger on a really good bun, lovely, fresh veggies, and perhaps the best house-​made ranch dressing I have had in a restaurant.
Graydon’s Crossing could definitely become our new hangout. I see what all the fuss is about and I CONCUR.

This is a cool English style pub, a little off the beaten path from the city center. There’s a decent amount of parking around the building, but take note if the lots are full then it’s about a 30min wait for a table. We got there around 7:30 and had a bier at the bar, while we waited.
Now down to what matters: a good selection of popular local biers and some unique one-​offs. The food is good overall… we started with the Pork Belly fries as an app (incredible, but note that they are not pork-​seasoned French fries, as I had thought, but rather pork belly «sticks».) I had the Drunken Dip as a main… not bad, but you will be more overwhelmed by the hearty baguette than the flavor of the meat. And finally: the staff… very friendly and welcoming. Overall, Graydon’s has a great atmosphere and I’ll be back.
