I bought a groupon for this particular business for a haircut and highlights/all-over color. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I like to try things(especially for good deals.) I typically go to any stylist with no idea of what to do with my long, fine, wavy hair. I always trust whomever of shaping my hair with their creativity and style. I walked in with no expectations, but I walked out with a trim and my highlights covered up with burgundy hair dye. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t exactly what I’d hoped for. I think my hair is a lot healthier looking, and I’m glad, but if I really wanted a trim and to cover my highlights I wouldn’t have paid $ 80 even with a groupon for my hair. The service was extremely awkward for me at this salon as well. Maybe it’s because I go to very high end salons that I have a distorted perspective, or maybe, it was just awkward. I was laughed at for my grown out highlights and my stubborn fine hair. It felt as I was being judged the whole time for not redoing my hair earlier or not keeping up on it… Which is definitely not what you want on a personal beauty day! I am not disappointed with my hair, but rather my experience and how mediocre I walked out at the end of my appointment. I don’t think this place is bad, but if you’re going to try to save money go to the Aveda Institute, and if you want the best Jeffrey Richards still has no rival.
