Hamman misdiagnosed pancreatic cancer as pancreatitis over several visits to his office and the ER. She was hospitalized and Hamman did an endoscopy. At each visit (3 hospitalizations) he assured her she did not have pancreatic cancer. Within a week of the last hospitalization in GP, she went to RVMC. The gastroenterologists there found the pancreatic cancer. It was already stage 4, and she had no options for good time. She told Dr. Hamman that pancreatic cancer ran in her family. I have no idea why she had to suffer so much before getting the correct diagnosis from the specialists she should have been sent to much earlier in her disease process.

I would never go back to Barry, he’s so greedy and money hungry. He lied and only thinks about himself. Ripping people off, and charging ridiculous price for nothing! I went to see him for a ringworm I had on my leg from cat, and was already using the same cream he recommended me to use and charged me $ 186 for few minute visit, didn’t even check me out or anything like that… And to top it off, he prefer for me to be a pill popper, so he can make more money. That’s why he won’t support medical marijuana, considering that there’s no money in it for him. Big disappointment!

This guy shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine. He doesn’t care about the care and well being of patients. He is simply interested in padding the bill so he can charge more money for no care. Telling a patient that their symptoms are «Because you are old», is not likely to be in his handbook of best practices. Causing patients to leave in tears because he feels he can lecture, brow beat and make someone feel small is abusive.
