Best Western Grants Pass Inn

The room smells, the AC can’t keep the room cooler than funky warm. Everything else is substandard. Towels are cheap, beds are just ok. I would stay somewhere else if I came through Grant’s Pass again. My 2 cents.

I am relocating to Grants Pass from Nevada to begin a new job. While my house was being prepared, I stayed at this BW for ten nights. The staff was extremely accommodating! Everyone, from the front desk staff (Cody) to the front desk manager (Jeanette) right on through to maintenance and housekeeping, everyone was very cordial, helpful, and professional. When I extended my stay from 3 to 10 days, they even cut me a better rate on the room and waived the additional $ 12 day dog charge! I cannot say enough good about this staff, the comfortable and clean room, and my entire experience at this Best Western. Thank you to all of the staff for making the transition to this new town so pleasant!

We were very impressed with this best western. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and professional. The manager Jeanette Beins was especially fantastic and I would highly recommend this location.

Perfect stop while on the road. Easy access to I-​5, food and other services. Bed was comfy and room was clean. 10% discount at Elmer’s next door was within stumbling distance. Hot breakfast in the morning with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and more included. Such a deal!

Way overpriced for what you get. No microwave or fridge. I’ve stayed at a lot of best westerns but this is the worst one I’ve ever stayed at.

Do not stay here! Room was Disgusting and stank like urine throughout. Seen dead fleas on floor and What appeared to be cockroaches run across floor during the night! I am a frequent guest and gold rewards member at BW hotels across the country for business. When confronting office about poor quality I was greeted very rudely by district manager Kelly saying well are you sure you really are even staying here and called me a liar and that she did not want my type of people in «Her» hotel and motel 6 is a better fit for «you people». Being that I am an African American male I take derogatory racial comments very seriously. Highly offended and will never stay in Best western again. So unless you are accepting of racial comments and poor room quality I would not stay at BW Grants pass!

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Best Western Grants Pass Inn. We arrived a bit early for check in and the room wasn’t quite ready we had options to stay in the cool lobby and enjoy their ambiance, sit by the beautiful pool looking out into the nearby forest, having a bite to eat at Elmer’s Diner or coming back. We chose to sit by the pool and observe the view of the valley which after driving from Sacramento was quite a lovely event. A short time later the room was ready and we loved it. Big comfy beds, clean linens, roomy sleeping, dressing and bathroom areas. The staff was very knowledgeable about the local area including eatery options, Rogue River attractions and shopping. We stayed during the 25^th Annual Hot Rod Event which we were unaware of. Grants Pass really goes all out for this event. This
facility was spot on and exceeded my family’s needs.

Really nice hotel staff! Very accommodating and pleasant. Great breakfast for free! Pet friendly room was clean with no odors. Spa tub super fun for kids. Bed comfy and good pillows. Only 3 stars due to 2 issues. Rollaway bed not good even for a 9 year old. It Was broken down and she could feel the springs. Pool was very very cloudy and I couldn’t even see my daughter when she went underwater.

Loved our stay. Staff was friendly, polite & professional. The grounds & the room was clean. I’m handicapped & it was better than expected. The complimentary breakfast is better than most restaurants. If fact a popular Restaraunt is within walking distance if you like. We are coming back & bringing family for extra rooms. Right off the highway & easy to find.

Keep Driving! I’ve stayed at several Best Westerns over the years and have always been pleased. This place is a dump. Room reeked of urine, carpet was filthy and «crunchy» to step on… I had to wear shoes in the room. Hair in the shower, opened toiletries and dead dried fleas in the bath towels. I should have read some of the other reviews prior to making a reservation here. I have registered a complaint with Best Western.

This hotel is gross. I don’t feel
Safe– the room stank so I opened the window which backs onto a street and the screen is all broken. My dog is itching like there are fleas. Wtf

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room, 232, was recently remodeled. Breakfast is simple but the restaurant next door (Elmer’s) has lots of options and you get 10% discount with your room.

We stayed here with our dog while driving through. While we understand that a pet room would not smell the best, we came in to find large spots on the carpet where a previous dog had obviously urinated and the stale smell of urine. A pet room cannot always be in tip top shape, however finding a tick in the sink the next morning and another in the bath was an unwelcome sight and the breaking point. Will not be staying here again on our drive through town. Would suggest if you do, make sure your pet is up to date on flea and tick medication.

Great location conveniently off the hwy exit. Fantastic staff that’s willing to work with your every need. Comfortable beds.

I LOVED the Best Western! Clean, pride in the property! Wow I have stayed at a lot of their hotels and this one so far was the cleanest I have ever been in!

My last layover in Grant’s Pass was not great — I wasn’t optimistic based on that exeprience and preferred to avoid the town. My friend insisted so I called around for rates instead of looking on Air BnB and found a friendly woman at the other end of the line, so off we went.
The lobby is pretty basic but clean. The lobby bathroom was clean. The ladies at the desk were super nice and friendly. The check-​in process was delayed only by me and my friend using the facilities in the lobby.
Our room was super clean — everything was very tidy and well cared for. The beds were comfy and we weren’t interrupted with noisy neighbors or traffic. Hot water was plentiful and so were towels. I would definitely stay here again.

After doing the best western survey they email after every stay, I received a response. Basically it said sorry it didn’t work out for you, please come again? Why would I? Last time I had a problem the owner made compensations to get me to return. And I did. I think this response shows how little this owner cares.

OVERALL VALUE: 2 double bed room
Save a few bucks, get free breakfast, and don’t bother with Holiday Inn. The exterior is kind of aged, but has new paint. It’s at the end of a quiet commercial street and generally a nice quiet area with a fun little out door pool.
CLEANLINESS;
Very clean. No complaints here. And I always check.
SLEEPY TIME
Bed was comfortable. Pillows were better than many Best Western Pillows that tend to be too thick.
BATHROOM; a bit on the small side. Shared the room with 4 adults. It was cramped.
STANDARD SIZE TOILET: my package fits (male#2 friendly).
AMENITIES (or lack in this case)
The flat screen TV is too small. A 42″ should be standard in this size of room. Where is the fridge and bottle opener!!! Very disappointed these items were missing and should be included to show their additional value compared to Whoretel 6.
Overall critique;
I like Best Westerns, but this should be a few bucks less. I think I paid 110 per night, but this is a $ 90 room on an average Friday night.

After a very long day, I was welcomed by a very nice woman working behind the counter. She had everything ready for me and even moved my room to make sure that I could park right in front of my room. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and I slept really well before the next leg of the trip. Great place, great value and friendly service.

Very large, very clean room. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Near an Elmer’s Restaurant, an Applebee’s, a Walmart, a Fred Meyers & other shopping.
