Recently I had to move my 90 yr old mother into an assisted living facility. As her Power of Attorney, this created much angst as I want to make the best decision with minimal difficulty and in a small time window since I was traveling out of town to complete the decision process. Since I am a retired ICU nurse and with the help of my Dallas cardiologist brother, I contacted our Texas friends and professional contacts for recommendations. Prior to my arrival at DFW, I called Atria-Grapevine’s Community Sales Director, Mona Martin, for an appointment. She not only offered a tour, but invited me to lunch and to meet some of the residents and staff as well as observe social activities. I ended up spending a 3 hours touring, dining, interviewing, and visiting with everyone. I was ready to move in myself! What was a very difficult transition was made much easier by the wonderful help of everyone at Atria-Grapevine. Three days after my visit, my mother was settled in her beautiful apartment! She is thriving and has a new lease on life as she visits with the other guests in Atria’s lovely dining room, attends in-house concerts, participates in activities(200 scheduled monthly), and enjoys the many other amenities. Everyone has been fabulous and extremely helpful all along the way. As for me, I am at peace, knowing I made the best decision and mother is comfortable and happy at Atria– Grapevine.

Nice looking facility, but terrible staff who are more concerned with their image and their personal gain instead of caring for people.
