Man listen. I’ve passed this place several times and I’ve only heard marginal comments about it… so I continued to pass… until today. Recently I’ve been on this BBQ kick so I’ve been cruising the streets for DFW’s best cow and yard bird. For health reasons I don’t dine on the swine. Overall, cleanliness was fine, but I’m never too particular about that. I had the $ 16 two meat brisket and backyard chicken with mac and cheese and potato salad. Portions weren’t good. Brisket wasn’t tender — my butter knife struggled. The chicken thigh was decent but fatty. The Mac and cheese was just ok. Nothing special. The potato salad was flavorful but dry. Won’t be back here, folks. Deuces

Completely disappointed and would not recommend. Ever! We have been here many times over the last several years to meet friends and watch sports. Today we went and were there for 6 hours and were told we were«cut off» because our tab got to high! They brought up that we had 15 bottle of Michelob Ultras, which is true, but there were 2 of us drinking them over a 6 hour period as we were watching Soccer games! We also ordered lots of food all day long. We were not unruly, loud or even talking to anyone outside our table of the 4 of us! WTF? Where were they when I saw a girl fall off a barstool several weeks back and they they dusted her off and she sat and proceeded to have drinks for the next hour or so. What about the kid who just turned 21 last week when we were there and had 5 shots in about 2 hours with several beers? They didn’t cut him off! Never have I been asked to leave a bar before and I’m certainly not a youngin’ that was acting stupid. We are adults that were acting responsibly and were taking Ubers home. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. Manager was a joke!

Here I am sitting, wishing my boobs looked as nice as these waitresses walking around LOL. I can see why they’re located so close to Baylor hospital now, what with all these heart attacks they give people! Also, the food is bomb!!! My family and I shared their messy smoked wings appetizer, which are full-sized, plump chicken wings drowned in slightly spicy, tangy bbq sauce garnished with green onions atop. My mom ordered the smokehouse salad with jalapeño ranch dressing and it was quite refreshing mixed together with pinto beans, corn, and the prime brisket which were large meaty cubes with a very thin layer of fat at the top. I had their baby back ribs with sides of mac n cheese and cream corn. The ribs did pretty alright falling off the bone. It’s marinated pretty well enough, but drench those ribs in the sweet and tangy bbq sauce from the warm bottle they leave out on your table and it evolves into a whole new level of goodness. Their mac n cheese was standard yummy, with a baked top layer and cheesy bottom. The cream corn was creamy and sweet– a must get! This meal comes with a fluffy roll of bread too, that is lightly glazed with honey. My brother got the pulled pork platter, which was really smokey in flavor. He gave it a 3.5 because the meat was mostly dry with tender parts here and there. I thought the pork was dry as well, but maybe bbq sauce could fix the problem! On a small note, their sweet iced tea isn’t really sweet… I suppose it could be so that customers may sweeten it to their liking, but then why have options of sweet/unsweet in the first place? Haha. Oh well. I’m absolutely digging the food here and I can’t wait to return. The atmosphere is very hustle and bustle upbeat with energy and the waitresses are hot and cute. Lowkey, I’d totally work here because it looks fun but my mom would kill me, so I’ll just come for the food and awesome service!

Were visiting from Reno, NV and hands down! Thee best rib eye steak I’ve ever tasted! Cheap, compare to what we pay in Reno. Its so good that my cousin was going to cry. It’s a little bit exaggeration but it’s very delicious! Beautiful servers, great atmosphere, and delicious food. I recommend the 20 oz rib eye steak! Just delicious.

So we tried this place out for the first time and I was totally disappointed. We ordered chips and queso and honestly I would have rather had Velveeta from a crackpot anyday. In fact we just put our trash in it and moved 95% of it to the side and a waitress came by and was like why did you put your trash in it. We told her it wasn’t good and we didn’t want it she’s was like oh I’m sorry. $ 9 for some chips and queso is ridiculous especially nasty queso. So then we had our meal which was the daddy melt and all the meat was dry as hell. The potato salad was good. The okra was covered in chili powder which was disgusting. So yeah we won’t be coming back here.

Homerun for anybody looking for something delicious and no-frills. Everything was on point and the staff was courteous and attentive. A real relief after a long day of traveling and participating in a business seminar.

Kara made me feel at home. I’m coming down with a cold and need to have warm drinks she quickly brought me tea, honey and lemon. I’m very grateful. She was a wonderful server and very beautiful. She made mine and my father’s trip at Bone Daddy’s grand! We ordered the Messy wings, always delicious!

From all the reviews I thought this place would be like Twin Peaks in Arizona with much better food. Twin Peaks if you haven’t been has cold beers, beautiful chatty women, and an impeccably clean environment with an abundance of TV’s. A late night dinner and a feeling of barbecue and the fact they were two miles away with good reviews brought me in for takeout. First of all the place looks dirty and old. This was a different unclean look as compared to the disheveled and authentic look of most Barbecue joints, it just seemed run down. The ladies were inattentive and withdrawn, almost as if someone had forced them to wear uncomfortable high heals and booty shorts they did not belong in and walk around scowling at their patrons as they delivered over cooked yet inexpensive brisket. Standing at a not crowded bar of all of 3 – 4 patrons I finally got the attention of the distracted and thoroughly unhappy bartender who confirmed the brisket was moist, didn’t ask if I wanted a drink, then disappeared. FYI, these places thrive on drinks. While the other waitresses bounced into booths with their boyfriends, chatted in circles not communicating with their patrons, my food finally arrived with no utensils and hazardly packed. The food was overlooked uninspiring and needed to be drenched in surprisingly good barbecue sauce to taste decent. The maple ham was actually very good accept for half of the portion that was over-dried and murdered by way of dehydration. I may have gotten a bad night that aligned with both cook and crew, but from a perspective from a non local I would avoid coming here.

The food is too good — but the breastaraunt thing is so gross — they would kill it 24⁄7 if they focused on the food.

Vey good food, loud as hell inside. The servers all young women scantly clad and their shoes were a safety hazard in my opinion. The heel isn’t conducive for a restaurant atmosphere for a lot of walking. Food was great, lots of flavor. The sweet tea could have used a little more sweetness. This place is worthy of a return visit and four stars. Their dessert menu is a little weak and they could feature more flavors of bbq sauce. No place is perfect but when I get a craving for bbq I’ll probably save room for this place.

I’m giving them a 4 star rating because I was NOT expecting the food to be as good as it was! I had the two-meat platter with the backyard chicken & brown sugar ham with mac & cheese and roadhouse spuds. I’m going to get the«bad» part of the review out the way first. Roadhouse spuds were not good. That’s all I’m saying about that. Everything else was the ! Our server was friendly and kept the refills coming. Next time I’m craving BBQ I will be coming back here!

This may not be the place for you ladys to hang out unless you want to work there. The ambiance obviously is upbeat and fun. The staff was great and our waitress was cool. Even with a nice environment, you have to bring the food to the table, and I was surprised that their brisket sandwich was so good. It was not just good, but just fantastic. Unfortunately, I was on a lunch break, so I couldn’t have a drink… but that’s okay, if the guys ever need me to hang, I am there. next time off the clock. great place with great food.

Went here with my boyfriend and the environment was laid back and non-offending. We started with the Tailpipe appetizer, which was pretty darn good. Then I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese, while my boyfriend ordered the baby back ribs with fried okra and Mac n cheese. My chicken fried steak wasn’t good enough to finish but both my sides were delicious! The ribs were literally falling off the bone and finger licking good! But the okra was over cooked and not so good, so overall I give it 3.5 stars. I would come back for the ribs though.

You come here for the food? Yeah, right… Anyways, a bbq(ish) place with a pretty… good wait staff. The beer can chicken was pretty decent. Very moist meat from the beer stuffed into it, but the seasoning used with the chicken was rather bland. I accompaniments were actually decent though. The fried okra was good, I mean it’s fried, it’ll be good. The potatoes were a recommend from the waitress and it’s combination with cheese was nice. The service in actuality was quite good. Entertained by the sass and conversation throughout the lunch time hour from the waitress. She worked well in conversing with the group. Would come back again for that type of entertainment.

As hesitant as I am to give a T&A restaurant rave reviews… the food was really tasty. The servers were not obnoxious at all and made great suggestions on what to try for a first timer/out of towner.

Came here on Father’s Day at 6:30 pm. We figured we would have to wait but surprisingly we got seated right away. Desi was our waitress and she was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a smoke chicken salad which was filling and amazing. The smoked chicken had a lot of great flavor. I tried a bite of Mac and cheese and I could have had a bowl of just that. It was creamy, smokey and most importantly cheesy. I also tried the baby back ribs and the smokey flavor was real good. They were fall off the bone good tastin ribs. This place has such great bbq and the waitresses are always very friendly. Word of advice: the little green things that are on some of the plates are jalapeños and not pickles. My dad took a bite of it and about died. Lol.

Havent been here for awhile but remebered that they had good ribs were a breastaurant. I also liked their bread that came with your meal. Now, however, they give you regular dinner roll with honey on top. I was disappointed. But, the rack of ribs were smoky flavored, meaty and fall off the bones. It was not overly sweet or dry like some real bbq joints. The portion are generous, even the kids meal cam with 2 choice of side. I had the cobb salad and it was basic lettuce with tomatoes, cheese, croutons, cheese. It was nothing special and will not order it again. I have a sweet tooth so I usually try desserts at least once, so brownie with walnuts and scoop of ice cream. The brownie was huge square which great to share. Unfortunately, it was gritty sugared out. Not the rich flavor that I was craving. It tasted like a store packaged brownie with soft ice cream. The kids got the ice cream sundaes and their ice cream melted and was soft within minutes. The place was bright and no different from any bar and grille type establishments. Plenty of tv for sports. There were families and lots of women patrons and the waitress were polite and attentive. These high school waitress had too much makeup on tattooed up. But, I not mind since the food was very decent and I will stick ribs and burger

I don’t usually break it down this way, but: Service: ***** Food: *** And no, the service accolades aren’t just because of the restaurant format — our server, Mara, really was that good. She was friendly but not«clingy», and despite a very busy lunch rush on a Friday, was able to keep our drinks filled and the food moving at just the right pace. I’d heartily endorse her as a server. The food, on the other hand, was good but not great. I selected the stuffed jalapenos(stuffed with BBQ pulled chicken, breaded and fried) and a cheeseburger with bacon and added pulled pork. The jalapenos were the best part of the meal. Great flavor, modest but noticeable heat and a great tasting filling, they went great with the provided spicy ranch dressing. Pulled pork on the burger was more in chunks rather than the expected strands, which made it a bit more cumbersome to eat, and while I appreciate that they don’t use a huge bun on it, it needed to be a bit more substantial to hold everything in. Accompanying beans were nice, with BBQ sauce and nice spices, they tasted fresh made even if they weren’t. French fries were mostly a disappointment; they were undercooked and mostly limp, but the ones that were properly cooked were OK. I do love that they bring a hot towel at the end of your service; I used to love that part of flying in business class when they’d bring the towels around. More restaurants should do this. Again, the service was great, and my special request may have put the burger at more of a disadvantage, but I was just hoping for more. It’s a fun place to go, though.

I am quite a frequent visitor of this place. They lately changed the menu layout/style. Unfortunately they have sized down their portions as welI. The tortillas with queso has shrinkt by good 1⁄3 almost not enough for two. They have a basket for the tortillas with a raised bottom so it looks more than it is. Also, if you order a starter and if you tell the waitress to wait a bit with the entrée that should be pretty easy — not so there. 4min into the starter and she showed up with the main course. On top, their chicken fried chicken was approx 25% smaller as usual. The only thing that has not decreased is the price. To bad…
