You are unable to opt out of a required and unnecessary trash pickup service @$ 30/​month.
Available parking close to some buildings is too little, forcing one to consider the overpriced covered parking, except it’s not assigned according to proximity to ones building, so one still may have to walk across the complex.
The office refuses to accept packages from UPS/​FedEx/​etc necessitating extraneous trips to the courier to pickup packages which require a signature.
The only internet/​tv service allowed is through AT&T, which is unnecessarily overpriced with subpar service.

We just Love this apartment community, the key word is «community» the staff makes a diligent effort to take care of their tenants. The property is well maintained and the community business center is priceless.
I have to say that our Leasing Agent Collin E. was the absolute best ! he sold us on the property on our first visit and has always gone above and beyond on any issues or questions we had for him. And the fact that he is a dog lover like us, he can appreciate certain things we were looking for in a place to live.
**Before I moved in I did read all the comments on Unilocal about noise, flooding etc I have to say that there was allot of construction in front of the complex however that seems to be ending.
And has never been a problem for us, we don’t even hear them and we face the main road.
The running trail with exercise stations is like having your own white rock lake park in your back yard minus the huge crowds and car burglaries.
Great Location, Great Staff and Great Amenities… You get what you pay for

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Yes it’s pretty and seems very luxurious for an apartment but the walls are super thin. You can hear neighbors talking, walking, fighting, and hell I mistake their phone ringing as my own. Not to mention the Nicole and dime you for everything and I’m sure most of it isn’t done. Best advice is to stay away!

In the past, when I first move in, I rated Camden 5 stars! Why you ask? Because they were great sales people. Now, after living there a year, I signed a 15 month lease which somehow changed to a 10 month lease. So somehow they «lost» my original agreement. But hey, so far so good. So I renewed for another 15 months because this lease ending was unexpected. They uncharged me an additional $ 100, and then after that it just kept going downhill. You’re already spending so much to live in a mediocre place and they want to charge you more just to use one of their buildings. To go further, I set up TWICE auto payments to pay rent and their system has kicked back half my rent and then charged me a late fee. They cannot and will not refund for THEIR mistakes. I do not recommend this place! Spending way too much for a nice sales representative to sell you on a mediocre apartment!

We are new to the community and love that we made the choice to call Camden our home. The Staff in the office are awesome and professional. They go over and beyond to serve with excellence. Not to mention it is a delight to see the staff at times serving breakfast to snack packs on our way out. From the landscape to the club houses, we find it to be a joy. Thank you Camden & Staff for making it the best place to live.

We have lived here for three and a half years and we LOVE it here!!! The property sits along a beautiful nature reserve where you can take breathtaking walks, jog or bike ride. Ideal for nature lovers, too. And, you get the best of both … COUNTRY LIVING in the CITY!!! It’s accessible to everything you want to explore that DFW has to offer … conveniently located to DFW airport and just a short drive to Los Colinas and downtown Dallas, yet it is still just minutes away from that small town feeling and convenience of what you need … (i.e., grocery shopping — traditional and farmers market, doctor, banking, cute little unique shops, etc). It’s nestled between the quaint downtown of Grapevine and the town of Flower Mound.
Now, that’s all great, but unless you like your home it doesn’t mean THAT much. These apartment homes have unique floor plans with wraparound balconies, private balconies and patios. Plus, EVERY 1^st and 2^nd floor home has a direct access garage, which is such a nice added touch and hard to find!!! Our 2^nd floor feels almost like a townehome. There are TWO pools. One that is a resort style pool with spa. The other pool/​spa is located on the back part of the community with a fabulous clubhouse for resident use and has a movie theater, business ctr, etc. There are two clothes care centers, two very nicely equipped fitness centers and let’s not forget the nature reserve has a 1.2 mile jogging/​walking trail throughout the gorgeous trees and natural vegetation.
Inside the homes you will find beautiful granite counter tops with either dark walnut cabinets or cherry wood cabinets and some have a glass tile blackspash in the kitchen and simulated wood grain flooring with well thought out layouts.
The grounds are well kept and all of the management are wonderful … very friendly, helpful and attentive. We have never had any issues with our place other than replacing light bulbs. One time our dishwasher was making a noise and it was b/​c I put a plastic fork in it and it broke off and was causing that. Maintenance came the next day and found the piece and removed it … not a problem since!!! We get a complimentary carpet cleaning once a year and for next to nothing we can have the company they use come anytime. I have lived at a few other places where that was not always the situation.
They have resident activities once or twice per month and lots of other groups, i.e., book club and other interests that are a really nice way to meet and get to know your neighbors.
Like I said we just love it here. where country and city come together!!!

I lived here for almost 2 years and during that time it has gone downhill pretty badly. The apartment itself looks nice but has constant problems, leaking, mold etc. Maintenance are good about resolving run of the mill issues quickly, but anything outside the norm takes forever, and in my experience isn’t repaired correctly, plus the office are largely unresponsive about any problems that arise. The gates are frequently broken and it seems like they are investing less in this property overall over time and it is starting to show. This coupled with the fact that they won’t accept your packages (a Camden wide decision) means that if you are looking for a higher end apartment complex — this isn’t it, your rent dollars would probably be better spent elsewhere.

We lived here for 18 months and overall enjoyed the community. There were issues with our unit but nothing unbearable b/​c we knew our stay was temporary. The management however is terrible and there is only one nice man working at the front office. All the ladies in the office are mean and always seemed bothered when we went in there. If you decide to live here make sure you get a exit inspection walk thru and obtain a copy of it. Everyone I know who left here including myself was overcharged for every unexpected thing you can think of so they can avoid returning your deposit to you. No one I know who left this place left with their deposit. Be warned.
Some property issues we faced were MOLD, dog poop everywhere in common areas, shooting in the complex (yes gun shooting!), horrible construction traffic, gates broken all the time, gates being left open allowing non residence free access, nails sticking out of our carpet that was never fixed after several requests, airplane noise, outrageous charges for ridiculous unwarned things, plumbing issues, unprofessional and downright mean staff, the list goes on…

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. This is a terribly managed apartment complex. The leasing agents don’t understand the terms of the lease and will lie to you. Multiple times throughout our stay, we were told things that were completely untrue and when we brought this up all that was offered was a fake apology. I say this because the lies continue still. When we moved out, we were told the amount that we owed, but when the final statement came in, it was much more. They have many practical sounding «policies» in place, however none of these seem to be enforced. There was dog poop in almost all of the grassy areas. Yet, when we moved in we were told that picking up after your dog was strictly enforced. Clearly, that was not the case. Many residents had large dogs that were left on the patio to bark at all hours of the night, yet again nothing was done. The walls and ceiling are very thin and you can hear normal movements of your neighbors, as well as their discussions. During our time at this complex the gates only worked half the time and people could easily get in if they wanted to. There was also a shooting which resulted in the police being called. I would NOT recommend this complex to anyone.

WILL NOT PAY REALTORS A FEE!!! My mom went there today with clients she had been showing for 2 days and did not realize they do not pay Realtors. Who does that??? Beware!

This place has all the Bells and Whistles and gives off the «ohhhh ahhhh» response at first glance but it is a typical over priced apartment. I will say the ladies in the office are always reaThe biggest complaint I have is the internal organization. After a quick visit to DFW I secured my apartment from out of state. All seemed well at first until I got a phone call from them about 3 weeks later… they said the tenant in the apartment that I secured was refusing to leave and I could no longer have the apt that I put the deposit down on. Whats worse is they didn’t even have a solution for me when they called and told me. They said they would talk to their corporate office and get back to me. When I receive a call back they told me they did not have any more of those particular apartments available. I am in the Hospitality industry and if we oversell a particular room category we upgrade the individual at the same rate. In my case they DOWN graded me to one of the old units and gave a tiny price break on the rent OR I could go to one of the better units at the standard rate. So we took the old apartment since we were only going to be there for a short term lease (4 months). This is another warning to all, we asked multiple times in the booking process if we could go month to month after our lease ended and they always said…“sure no problem” what they should have said was, «yes however we will jack up your rent! My advise if you choose to live their is to get all verbal conversations in writing.

I can only give 4 stars because I do not live here yet. I do not want to fall victim to the reps being really friendly at first, only to forget your name as soon as you move in. However, I did not get this vibe from them as I have with previous properties.
We are moving from out of state, and our rep Lisa is so friendly and down to earth. She answered EVERY question I had about the concerns of signing a lease prior to seeing the property. She has gone above and beyond in the entire process. We were convinced that everything would go smoothly.
We just visited the place for the first time this weekend and were really impressed. They office was very busy, so we decided to look around for ourselves a little bit. They had snacks, drinks, wine and a very comfortable lobby so we weren’t too upset. The pool is stunning, and clean. You really cant beat these amenities, especially coming from CO where cost of living is high and you don’t get much for your money. Not to mention LOTS of parking, a manual car wash, 2 pools, and 2 workout facilities with 2 personal trainers.
The models that they showed us were very lovely. The appliances were up to date, standard sized rooms, big closets and upgraded bathrooms. The counters were granite and cherry colored cabinetry throughout the home. Good sized patios as well.
Also, in case you ever visit their website and are curious about the Vista and Estates difference, the Vista floor plans are older and have been upgraded from the original 2005 build and the Estates were built as an addition with upgrades from 2008.
It’s worth at least getting a tour. If you like the pictures, you won’t be disapointed.

I lived here for a couple of years. The first year was great. The second year the class of people went from class to trash that moved in. Vehicles were broken into and the cops were always arresting someone in the parking lot at night. I read reviews that they rip you off and overcharge you when you move out well I didn’t think it would happen to me because I’m a super clean guy. I got charged over $ 200 in fees I have never heard of after I moved. I would not recommend moving here due to security reasons and the overcharging when you decide to move.

Gotta tell you — I’ve lived in a great number of apartment complexes across the country. This is the nicest I’ve seen.
Very good people in management. Very responsive and helpful. Price reasonable for the total package.
The only downside (as it’s located directly north of DFW) is that you won’t like it here if airplane noise bothers you.
