Not so happy with service or staff… Can be very hard to reach staff by phone and sometimes placed on hold for long periods of time… Id like to switch offices

We e been coming here for a few years now and we love Dr. Sandy S. Varghese, MD. She saved my sons life when she listened to our concerns and sent him off to an MRI. We found out he has cancer. It had been two years with another doctor who would not listen to us. Dr. Sandy S. Varghese, MD took the time and she is the reason our son is alive today. Our daughter comes here to and Dr. Sandy S. Varghese, MD is amazing with her too. My two teens just love her and trust her. She asks questions and she listens to ours and she is very helpful. As for the office staff we have never had a problem except with one. I will not mention her name but every time we come here she is horrible. She belittles me and is at times unprofessional. I just cringe when I walk in the door and see her. I have already spoken with the office manager and she assured us she would look into it. I’m sure she has but this office person still makes our lives unpleasant. But I won’t let that stop us from coming to see Dr. Sandy S. Varghese, MD.

I love this place, and so do my all 3 of my children. PCNP Valarie Ward, is absolutely amazing, and cares for my children like they are her own. If for some reason they have to cancel an appointment, they will call me and let me know so I can reschedule the appointment, unless it is a sick visit. If my kids doctor isn’t in, they will let my kiddos see a different doctor. Dr. Varghese (not sure if that’s spelled correctly) is also amazing. I would, and I have, definitely recommended My Children’s in Grapevine to any parent.

When I first started taking my child to this facility everything was great for about 3 months but then everything just went down hill from there. Dr. Deborah Wright-​Bowers was my sons pediatrician but that is not something that I suggest for other parents! She is never there and constantly out of the office! My son had a doctors appointment this morning at 8:30AM so being an hour away we had to get up at 6 this morning and leave by 7, brave the traffic and when we get there I am told that we are not on the schedule! I told the receptionist that was incorrect and she said that they called two days ago to cancel the appointment because Dr. Bowers would be gone. Of course there was no voicemail or missed called from them. What really upset me was there was absolutely no offer for them to see my son by another doctor but simply that they would call me if someone else canceled! Do you really think I would have driven an hour if there was a voicemail on my phone from them? Being an annoyed mother I told the receptionist that this was unacceptable and I would be finding another doctor for my son and she replied with «ok». Obviously this place is not truly concerned about my sons health if they are willing to let me walk out because of THEIR mistake! This is just one example as to why this place is horrible! I took my son on his first birthday for his shots to be passed up by people who had gotten their AFTER me and I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes! There was absolutely no concern from anyone there and yet again they let us walk out. Do not take your children here, they do not put the kids before themselves and have zero care for your time or money!
