Tried for weeks to get a hold of someone at this company. Left emails, Left voicemails — nothing. Why are you wasting your time and money at trade shows if your not going to actually pick up the phone when people are looking for demonstrations?
I wanted to like the P.O.S. system, but could never get any response. It should be EASY when someone with a multiple location business is trying to switch POS and is trying to approach you. I should have been the easiest sale you guys could have had…

We made several attempts to contact Granbury solutions regarding a deposit of over $ 4000.00 for a system we decided not to purchase. The reasons are complicated. We did not receive any contact from Granbury after phone calls, emails and letters. This went on for several weeks. A great company should always know that customer service is number one. Nobody made an effort to speak with us until Fred Dilkes. I made an attempt to contact Fred Dilkes, VP of Granbury solutions, who took the time to speak with me regarding our situation. Fred Dilkes was able to arrange for a full refund of our deposit. I have to say that Granbury finally DID THE RIGHT THING. Thank you Mr. Dilkes! The one star review no longer applies!

SHAME ON YOU GRANBURY SOLUTIONS! The only reason they got one star is because I had to give a star. DO NOT USE GRANBURY RESTAURANT SOLUTIONS. Where to even start. They provide no service, they make it impossible to even get in touch with them to get the service which they will not provide. You cannot call them they won’t answer the phone. You leave a message and God for bid you better answer the phone when they call back or that’s it, it’s over as far as they are concerned they did their job and there is no further follow up. You will have to start all over with the calling leaving a message, and filling out their online form for help. As if we in the restaurant business have nothing but the luxury of time on our hands. I’m not sure what the monthly service fee is for because they won’t help you with any problems. Even simple fixes they will insist it does not fall under their service contract and it will cost an additional $ 250 per hour. One of the computers they sold us had the well known faulty mother boards on it, with the tendency of capacitors going bad. So our mother boards’ capacitors indeed failed and they tried to sell us a new computer for $ 850! I asked why can’t we just get a new motherboard? And they played dumb and said «oh I don’t know, I don’t think that will work, your hardware won’t work with it, you need a new computer from us for $ 850. Well I didn’t have $ 850 so had the motherboard replaced for $ 60. When we plugged her back in and called firefly for the IP etc numbers to get back online, we were on the phone asking for the number sets when they just hung up without explaining why they cut us off. Of course it took a lot of effort to get them back on the phone, they finally called and said they can’t help us because we bought a part from a third party and they will have to charge us $ 250 per hour. They didn’t need to do anything but give us the codes to get back online. They spent a lot of time on the phone upsetting us with their bad attitude and rude behavior. So we figured out how to simply get the numbers from the other pos, I know duh, but they wouldn’t even tell us that. We had to figure it out. It took 30 seconds to get back online and they wanted to charge us $ 250 per hour. They claimed it wasn’t just the codes it was much more work than that, and that they had to do a lot of configuring etc., etc., all falsehoods. I told the female agent that tried to sell me the new computer when all we needed was a motherboard, «Shame on you! She said «No shame on you, for accusing me of trying to manipulate you». Wow, I told her, I actually never said that, you just said it but you are 100% right you did indeed try to manipulate me.» I figure she has been accused of this many times as she put those words right in her own mouth. Bottom line Granbury/​Firefly Restaurant Solutions are horrible in every way possible. It’s unbelievable they have the word Solutions in their title. They are no help to you what-​so-​ever, they cause you undue stress for no reason other than they are rotten people and or their company culture is to not help but confuse and purposely misdiagnose problems then try to take advantage of non computer folks pushing the sell of new computers as often as possible, plus make it impossible for you to get I.T. help locally or else! DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE GRANBURY RESTAURANT SOLUTIONS. I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET THE DECISION TO USE THEM ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. Just move on find another provider and Do your Due Diligence.

We only have great things to say about Granbury. The technical support staff is fantastic. If we have any issues, we can submit an inquiry and within hours the technician will have called and resolve the issue. One of our employees entered the wrong password and we got locked out of the credit card processing software during Black Friday. Granbury’s staff called within 1 hour of when we submitted the inquiry and they were able to get us up and running in less than 1 hour. That’s customer service! Their sales staff is always so helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. We really appreciate all of their excellent customer service.

This is the most pathetic software company I have worked with. They hide behind their phone system, never answer their calls or their support email.
If you have a restaurant do not consider this looser outfit. You will be stuck with a non-​supportable product and an indifferent attitude.

Purchased a Granbury system in 2010. State of the art, could do everything I needed. Turns out they failed to mention it was a work in progress. 4 years of hell later they tell me that the system does not work and they are abandoning it, DUH, I told them that for 4 years. I purchased a different company’s system. I finally have what I was looking for in the first place.

Here is the beauty of this company and all your really need to know. I finally decide to get rid of Granbury’s piece of … and get a new system. Granburys tried and true system and my current are the final 2 it comes down to for me. Granbury makes it interesting with some nice pricing because of all I went through with the old system. When it comes down to it, I decide to spend extra and get my current with a different company. Best decision I ever made. I inform Granbury of my decision to switch, here is how they work, they charge me the final month of support that I don’t use. I am not exagerating when I say I spent more than 500 hours of my time on trying to get their system up and running and they charge me all they can in the end. That’s the thanks you get.
Just had our busiest Halloween ever, 20% up from last year and it seemed unbelievably easy, because we had a computer system that worked.
STAY AWAY from Granbury.
