They practice price gouging on special release craft beers — no thank you! I would rather take my business to people in the industry that care about the industry and their consumers!

Went in there today on a tip from a friend that they had a recently released 2014 Lakewood Bourbon Barrel Temptress. She had purchased it for $ 15. As I walked in, a guy was walking out with 2 of them in a plastic bag. They seemed annoyed when I asked them to purchase some and they would only sell me one. This beer is being sold all over DFW for around $ 13-$ 15 per bottle. They charged me $ 27.05! Then the guy sternly asked«Who told you about this?!?» Obviously he was not happy about selling it to me. I contacted Lakewood and they had their Director of sales reach out to them and they said they were charging $ 17.99. A couple of friends called them after that and they told them that it was $ 18.99 and another went to the store and they charged them $ 20! Do NOT trust a business that changes its prices on the fly and gouges the consumer.

I have had a kegerator in my house for the past 2 years, and GBW has always had the best selection of kegs! Anything and everything you want, they can get it for you. Specialty items take about 2 days to get in, but the prices and freshness of the beer is worth the wait!!! This is the best place!!!

This is our go to place for beer and wine. The selection is amazing. That have tons of micro brews and European options. I don’t know how they fit so much selection In such a small place. The owner is very nice.

WHYDIDN’T I KNOWABOUTTHISPLACE? I live probably less than a mile from this shopping center and never once thought to see what’s happening in it. Turns out, a whole lot of awesome! I went in looking for one seasonal, limited edition beer. They had it. And next to it, they had another beer I had heard of in legend, but never seen. And then rows and rows and rows of awesome beer beyond that. Before Colleyville allowed liquor stores, I was driving 45 minutes for delicious beer and it was RIGHTHEREALLALONG!!! They also had a good little selection of wines going on, so I anticipate being here on at least a monthly basis. Definitely a new favorite place.

The person working was very helpful and friendly. For a small space, this place has a LOT of choice in beers. I was looking for a keg, and on the employee’s recommendation, ended up walking out with a keg of Ugly Pug Gravel Road. I had not heard of this beer before, but was very pleased. I will return(and not just because they have my keg deposit)

The only beer store that has every beer you could possibly want… except most of the hicks just get bud light… but still an amazing store with great service.

Great guy running the place there. He notices what you’re buying and makes suggestions based on your track record. It looks like a convenience store on from the outside(and provides those services), but it is so much more. Great beer selection from around the world and Texas. Also, he’s currently got Robert Mondavi 2006 Solaire Cabernet @ 2/$ 10(normally $ 12 – 15 bottle). Apparently 36 cases fell off the back of a truck of a friend who runs a distributorship that went out of business or something like that [paraphrasing what he told me].

This suprise narrow convenience type store is open on Sunday’s with a large cold beer and wine selection. I wasn’t expecting mini 4 packs of delirium tremens and woodchucks ciders either! I was so giddy I didn’t even have time to thoroughly check out the wines.

I dont drink as much as I use too, but let me say when I am having a party of want to find a beer that I have not tried before this would be the only place I would go. I moved away from this place, but I still travel to here to get beer. They carry Duvel, which Ive never really seen in another store. They carry about 60 import singles, and at least another double of 4,6,12 packs. IMO they also carry Sessions by Full Sail a excellent choice. The owner will ask you please if you want something let me know and I will get it. I dont give many 5 star reviews but this place is worth it.

This place is jammed packed and I mean packed with every type of beer or wine you could ever want. There is even an ice cream cooler in here stocked with your favorite ice cream treats. I go here several times a week to buy lottery tickets and whatever else I may decide to get when I go in there. The owner is there almost every day and he will take any special request you have. He’s super sweet and I hope I win the lottery so his store can get a share of the winnings.
