Hyatt Place Dallas Grapevine

Stayed here several times over the last few years, always happy with Hyatt Place experience.
One of the few hotel chains that I can say I’ve never had a bad experience staying at a Hyatt Place.
Rooms are great, beds… Great, full length sofa AWESOME, bar & lobby area Great! Complimentary breakfast also Great!

I can’t say enough about this hotel, the staff is amazing, the rooms are very nice. Complimentary breakfast & shuttle bus!!! A bar downstairs & access to the pool next door!!! I even accidentally left some clothes there & they shipped them to me free. Highly recommend!!!

Nice place! Big clean new rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast (that’s pretty good), fast free wifi and a great location.
The hotel is within walking distance from a mall and 5 or 6 places to eat and the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to The Gaylord or downtown Grapevine.

The Hyatt Place is a very decent place to stay — especially for business travel. Free (pretty good) hot breakfast, free WiFi, lots of lobby space to work, etc. The location is good — right in between Grapevine Mills and the Gaylord Texan and very close to the airport. The hotel was clean, although the first two floors were under construction which took one of two elevators out of commission, created noise during working hours, and caused the water to be shut off during the day from 11am to 4pm.
HOWEVER — the Internet was horrible. Very unreliable and kept cutting out and I had to deal with my company’s tech support each day to redo my set up to get online. Also, the staff were not superb. One of the receptionists in particular had a terrible attitude, seemed put out by anyone talking to her, and wasn’t able to even print me a receipt. She seemed not very well versed in the computer system. The staff in general were very loud at the desk socializing and seemed put out when «interrupted» by patrons needing assistance.

Really friendly and accommodating staff. Would def stay here, again. Apparently, the bar does not care for Coors Products, but that is a sacrifice we are willing to make!

The hotel is located near Grapevine Mills mall. There are a few other hotels right next door. There’s an outdoor pool, no indoor pool and no hot tub. There’s no on-​site restaurant, just a kitchen you can carry out some food from. They do have free breakfast. There’s a shuttle that takes you within a 5 mile radius. I attended a conference at The Gaylord Convention Center, less than 5 minute shuttle ride from the hotel. There aren’t many non chain dining options near the hotel. The rooms are spacious but a bit outdated. The only toiletries in the room are soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The box unit ac is quite loud. There is a coffee make, mini-​fridge and large flat screen tv. There’s no hotel robe and the closet is pretty small. The couch is a large sectional in the double rooms.

This is one of the best Hyatt Places I have ever stayed in. The ladies at the front desk are helpful and very, very courteous. We always were greated and welcomed back to the hotel The shuttle drivers were very nice and always willing to drive us to a destination. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious and filled with amenities. I particularly liked the free coffee and tea bar, ²⁴⁄₇ room service and a nice breakfast spread each morning. I will definitely be staying here again!

Overall this is a nice hotel with a good breakfast. However, the shuttle service was unreliable which was very unfortunate since I was there for a wedding. We were told that the shuttle to and from the wedding were already pre-​scheduled at 6:00 pm and 11:30 pm. However, no shuttle was ready at 6 and we had to specifically ask the front desk what the shuttle situation was. This created a delay where guests were then late to the wedding, having to walk in after the bride and groom. On the ride to the wedding, we specifically told the driver that our pick-​up was already scheduled for 11:30. We also called the hotel at around 9 to confirm that a pick-​up at 11:30 was scheduled. At 11:30 that night, no shuttle arrived. After waiting around for another 15 minutes, we had to call the front desk to request the shuttle and they replied that they would now get one ready, meaning we had to wait an additional 20 minutes. If we hadn’t called we would have been waiting all night. When I raised this issue with the hotel afterwards they seemed concerned and offered me a free night, however I live 1,300 miles away and have no family in the area so I asked if the free pass could be used at other hotels. They never responded.
There are many other hotel options in the Grapevine area; stay somewhere more reliable.

Work puts us up here every six and the last two time this place has funky odors which they try masking with sprays

Hyatt Place should definitely get a four– star hotel rating. This hotel ROCKS! The members of the front desk staff are incredibly courteous, helpful and friendly. The rooms are cool, have a killer décor, the shower is awesome, the flat screen is huge, the couches and beds are super comfortable. The free breakfast is amazing — fresh fruit and juices and loads of other delicious breakfast items!
Location is def a plus– super close to DFW and tons of shopping. Lastly, the hotel shuttle service is off-​the-​hook. The shuttle is 24 hours and the drivers were so awesome!!! Love this hotel– will stay here every time I come to town. Thanks Hyatt Place:)

For the most part a nice hotel. The front desk staff, many of them, are very friendly. I did have laundry done while I was here, when I was getting ready for bed that night realized it was not back in my room. No big deal, I will call down and see if they forgot to bring it up. When I called down the girl at the desk said it might be in the office. When she got back on the phone she told me, yep it is in there. Well maybe they don’t bring it to your room, or call you to let you know it is back.
Breakfast was good each morning I had it here. The breakfast attendant was friendly. Overall a good stay.

This is a hotel and staff that has its collective eye on exceeding expectations. Each time I interacted with the staff, (front desk, food service area, housekeeping), I was pleasantly surprised by their ambition to go beyond the basics. When I ordered a pastry at the food counter, the woman took an extra minute to get me a fresh one from the kitchen. The complimentary breakfast goes way beyond typical and is beautifully managed. First of all, the food is presented in an absolute beautiful manner. It actually looks delicious for starters. Today I had a croissant with egg, fresh basil leaves, mushrooms, Muenster cheese and chipotle sauce. Housekeeping was very thorough and pleasant; the room was comfortable and inviting. This place is managed by a real pro, every area of the hotel experience shouts back to me the consumer «great management, great team.»

I live in the Enclave apts right beside the Hyatt Place. My relatives and friends stay in the Hyatt Place when they come visit. The hotel is very clean and has a great staff. The rooms start at about $ 120 a night. It is nothing super fancy but it is in a great location.

After moving from the DoubleTree because of the fiasco involving the types of rooms they had, we ended up at the Hyatt Place. The gentleman on front desk duty was nice enough to show me the room before we booked it. The rooms were large and overall it was a really nice stay. Breakfast was also a bonus. The only part about the stay that could have been improved was the shuttle driver that took us from the hotel to DFW. He was less than interested in his job and had a lot of attitude. He was not helpful at all. All the staff at the hotel were very nice with the exception of him.

Went to Dallas for a conference that was being held at the Hyatt Place.
The Accommodations:
— SUPER Comfortable and nice rooms. The sofa was as comfortable as the bed. And they even provide a soft throw for those who want to get comfy on the couch after a long day of meetings — totally appreciated!
— A REAL Breakfast! Along with the normal cereal and danishes, they stepped it up here! You walk down to the lobby where breakfast is and you see yummy egg sandwiches and pancakes being kept warm on a griddle. Fresh juices and great coffee were always refilled before you even knew it was running low. Not too shabby! :)
— They give you toothpaste along with the shampoo/​conditioner/​lotion.
— Free shuttle to the airport and within a 5 mile radius of the hotel.
The Venue for the Conference:
— Took care of all our needs and were accommodating to the changes we needed to make upon our arrival to the hotel.
— They were great about meeting all the audio visual demands we had. And we had many.
— The meeting rooms were big enough to comfortably accommodate all 60 of our attendees with regular tables and refreshment tables.

I have stayed at this location numerous times, and like most Hyatt Places, it doesn’t disappoint. My only gripe is the breakfast/​eating area can get pretty cramped.

After experiencing the «Hotel from hell trip», I decided to give this Hyatt another shot. This time they did a much better job. I was on another Midnight arrival and cringed when the front desk guy said «all of the rooms had been given out». He must have noticed the Platinum status or something, because I got a quiet end room.
The rooms are nice and the location is rather tough to get to, but definitely a «Stay-​able» spot.

This hotel had many impressive features, great décor, great breakfast/​coffee/​food on the go/​bar, huge rooms and comfy beds. The suite rooms had a work area as well as a wet bar/​living room area with a great couch and huge flat screen.
It also let me down a little with some of the cleanliness issues, the a/​c was SUPER loud, which ended up being nice because it was able to drown out the planes from DFW but, it could still be a bit loud for some. Staff was also ify, either it was one person who made you wait while they finished whatever they were doing or 5 trying to help you all at once.
I stayed at a conference rate of $ 150 a night and that’s probably what I would want to pay again to choose this hotel over others in the area.

My very best thanks to the Hyatt Place in Grapevine for a relaxing, quiet, clean and comfortable stay this past weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the accommodations were very clean, extremely quiet and offered a great night’s sleep without any of the usual hotel noises and interruptions. The room was BEAUTIFUL — a studio suite that more than one person would be comfortable in as the bed area is separate from the living area (huge sectional sofa) by a small wall. Wide screen television visible from both the bed area and the living area. They pick you up at DFW airport — a short drive away, and it is right next to the Grapevine Mills Mall. I would recommend this location to anybody and I will definitely return on my next trip to Dallas. Thank you so very much for providing the perfection accommodations and service. It does not get better than this.
