I have loved Levi’s for about 25 years. And of late, I have been disgruntled about the quality of Levi’s, especially with that gnarly stretchy fit and feel. I recently happened by this store and was warmly greeted. I asked the sales woman if she had any classic blue jeans that were 100% cotton(aka lycra-free). She pointed me to the classic: Levi’s Button-fly 501’s. I was hopeful. I grabbed a pair and immediately have them the stretch test: no stretch! Nice and rigid! I tried on a pair for a ballpark size test, then went back to grab a pair that I knew would fit. That awesome sales woman mentioned that there were also a couple of pairs on the clearance rack that had washes I might prefer. JACKPOT!!! I found 2 pairs: one for $ 15 and another for $ 35, in under 10 minutes. They felt awesome. Thank you, Levi’s, for restoring my faith in your brand and hiring an awesome sales woman!

After trying a shirt on I went up to an employee to ask for another size he told me he was busy with another costumer, when I ask him if he was the only one working he said yes. After several minutes the the costumer walked away. I again told him the shirt I wanted and the size. I told it wasn’t on the rack and showed him where I had already looked. I asked him to look in the back then huffed to him self finished fiddling with something at the desk and went to check the rack I ALREADYCHECKED. He told me it wasn’t there I again asked him to check the back and he said fine«What size again». How he managed to check the rack, I already checked, without knowing the size is beyond me. When he did go back to get it two other employees walked out, turns out he doesn’t work alone. He came out from the back and told me it wasn’t there. I was just about to leave but I really wanted a new shirt so I checked the front display as I was leaving and lo and behold it was sitting in the middle of the main display under a mannequin wearing the same shirt. Frustrated I walked up to the cash register where not only he but the other male employee both told me to wait when I tried to to pay. Apparently moving the ladder and finishing folding three pairs of jeans were more important to them. The first guy did finally come up to check me out, he asked if anyone helped me I told him no. He checked me out while he and a female employee in glasses gave me sarcastic comments and attitude. As I left they hollered sarcastic comments again and gave over done smiles and waves goodbye. I love my new shirt it fits great and was a good price. I will never go to this location again. I worked clothing retail for 6 years and only recently changed careers. I know how much customers can suck and how no wants to be there late on a slow night, but you dont treat a customer like that. I will be posting this review on any rating site I can find because stores that don’t respect there customers don’t deserve to stay open.

Maybe it was because we were visiting this store the Monday after the tax-free holiday, but the service in this place was well… what service? I would have easily given this place 3(maybe even 4 stars) on an average day, but today wasn’t an average day. Yes… there are a ton of jeans of all sizes to choose from in this store(see pic). And the prices are terrific(plus they normally have a sale going on to make the prices even better). But the service was well., non-existent that day. Really. There was no associate to be found for a long time(some people were mistaking me for the associate). Thank goodness Levi’s has the sense to put up a anti-theft deterrent because people could literately walk in, have their way with whatever they wanted and no one would have noticed. Anyhow, we eventually found the hidden associate, but his only help when we couldn’t find a pair of pants that fit was«they are all that size». So we left, went to American Eagle and had much, much better service and found pants that fit. Maybe next time Levi’s(the prices are too good to pass up, even with the service I described).

If you love Levi’s you MUST visit this store. They have walls and walls of sizes and styles of jeans. And the best part is they are usually doing a buy 1 get 1 half off deal. I have a friend that only wears a particular style of Levi’s…however, he can never find them in his size. That was, until I told him about the Levi’s outlet. He ended up finding his favorite Levi’s in 3 different colors for under a total of $ 60. Wow! And if you’re still into them, I’ve noticed they have some really cute jean jackets for girls.

Shopping for clothes(especially pants) was the bane of my existence until I started shopping at the Levi’s Outlet store in the Grapevine Mills mall a few years ago. I must be the most popular size at any given department store since I can never find my size there and, in the rare case that I do, I’m forced to buy that pair of jeans instead of actually being able to make a choice. What’s great about this place is that it’s wall to wall jeans, every pair of pants is in every size imaginable, and I’ve never bought a pair of jeans that was over $ 40 from this place. I stopped by yesterday to pick up a few pairs of jeans and ended up walking out with four pairs right at $ 100. You just can’t go wrong with the prices and the discounts that they give per X amount spent.
