We make sure that class time is educational, fun and purposeful — a rarity in today’s world in which education is often confused with entertainment. Musikgarten is a leader in early childhood music education.

Business Owner

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree (all-​level certificate). For the next few years, I taught pre-​school through 8^th grade music, followed by several years teaching private piano lessons.

In 1992, I opened a music studio in my home representing a nationally known music program, but quickly outgrew that space. We moved the studio to First Methodist Church of Grapevine in the fall of ’96, and have been blessed with the opportunity to touch the lives of hundreds of wonderful children and their families since then. Because of this growth, our program has been named a ‘Maestro’ studio, which is only awarded to the top 5% in the world. I have been certified to teach all levels of their curriculum since 1992, and maintain a Level 2 Orff certification. The Musikgarten program is a

leader in early childhood music education for ages newborn through 9 years of age.
