History

Established in 1975.

Rheumatology Associates was founded in 1975 by Roy Fleischmann, M.D. We have since grown to a large single specialty group of physicians, Board Certified in Rheumatology. Our group provides care to patients throughout the Dallas/​Fort Worth Metroplex with convenient locations in Dallas, Duncanville, Grapevine, Irving, Plano and Lewisville.

Dr. Stern.

Business Owner

Dr. Stern is in private practice at Rheumatology Associates. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Stern has undergraduate degrees in biochemistry, and biology from the University of North Texas. He graduated from the Physician Assistant program at UTMB in Galveston in 1980 and practiced as a Physician Assistant in the field of orthopedics until he went back to medical school in 1994. Dr. Stern received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1998. He then completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital and the Dallas VA Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Stern is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with sub-​specialty certification in Rheumatology and is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
