Ross Dress for Less

Typically these stores are unsavory, but this Ross was cleaner than most. The only issue I was having was the LACK of air conditioning, even my 3 month old was sweating! The clothes were fairly organized and didn’t appear to be «picked through» by a pack of wild 4 year olds, so that was a plus. I may consider trying this location again, on a cooler day.

Wow! I have never been treated as poorly as I was tonight by Ada, evidently the manager for the evening. I spent over $ 300 yesterday evening, and when I returned home found that one of the items was not in the bag. 7.99 item. I would have just said it wasn’t worth the effort but it was one of the specific items requested on by Angel Tree list. I called and the man that answered told me to come in and they would give me the item. He was the one that helped me with the packages, as we all know one is not allowed to bring their carts outside the store.
When I brought in my receipt showing I had purchased the item the register person said go on and take it, but the ADA person said ‚“no, she had to review the security tape to make sure I wasn’t trying to scam them.” Oh my goodness, I certainly would not drive 30 minutes to get a 7.99 item, wow! After leaving me standing for 28 minutes, she returns and said it was in the bag when the man brought out the packages, I have no clue if it fell under the car or where, just know that I didn’t get it.
Poor customer service! I will not be spending anymore dollars at that store.

We had to return two night lamps because those didn’t go well with interior. Somehow we lost the receipt, even though price tag was intact but store manager returned much reduced price than what was paid for. Moreover she was rude in attitude and showing off that it is a big favor from her. It occurs to me later that I should have returned back from store. Avoid going to this store because they do not have appropriate return policy and staff is rude. I would recommend ColleyVille store.

As far as Ross stores go, this is the cleanest and most organized I’ve ever seen. As for merchandise, the selection beats other stores we frequent in Rockwall, Mesquite and Dallas.

This was a perfectly ok store. The selection was less than the others, but it was clean and almost organized.

Bleh. I love Ross, but this location just lacks the energy and selection that the other stores have. The shelves are dirty and disorganized, and there is just not a definite «please shop here» vibe in this store. Usually I come out with an item or two when I go shop at Ross, but I definitely came out empty handed and a bit more disappointed than I thought I was going to be. Ross usually has a great selection of shoes, but my size six shoes were all tattered and looked beaten, and roughly shelved with other sizes. I know it may be the customers who did this, but no matter what time of the day I visit, it always gives off the impression that someone just doesn’t care. Its location is pretty ok so I expected better. Eh.
