History

Established in 2008.

Maxum Tree Service was started in 2008 as a part time tree service by Max Meier. In 2011 it went from a part time company to a full time tree service. Since 2011, Maxum Tree has continued to grow mainly by word of mouth referrals. Max has continued to grow his business by joining with other contractors to help get the best price for his customers. In 2012 logging became a part of Maxum Tree. Maxum Tree looks forward to providing services in Grass Valley and surrounding areas.

Business Owner

I was born and raised in Nevada City. I bought my first chain saw at the age of 9. Since then I’ve been cutting wood with my dad and grandpa. After graduating NU I went to work at Utility Tree Service. I was there for 5 years learning the tricks of tree service. In 2011 I went full time into my own business. I moved to Grass Valley in 2009. I got married in 2014. My hobbies are camping, boating and hunting.
