Mercury Cleaners

We recently switched to Mercury after a number of bad experiences with other cleaners (poor customer service, shirts missing, stains not removed, and even clothes returned uncleaned on multiple occasions). From our first experience with Mercury, I am very impressed and believe we’ve found our new dry-​cleaning home.
We brought in a shirt that still had armpit stains even though it had supposedly been cleaned at another place two separate times. Furthermore, the shirt did not seem clean when it was returned previously. After a single visit to Mercury, the shirt returned beautifully pressed, clean, and there isn’t a trace of a stain anywhere! The shirt hasn’t looked this good since the day I purchased it.
Admittedly, the prices at Mercury are higher than we paid at other places. However, I consider it well worth-​it to support a local, family business that provides good customer service.

I brought an expensive dress with a salad stain on the front to another dry cleaning establishment and the dress was returned to me with the original stain plus additional stains! I was sure the other dry cleaner had ruined my garment. I took the dress to Mercury Cleaners and they removed all the stains! My dress looks like new. I will continue to trust my clothing with this wonderful family owned business!

Very unhappy. I dropped my wedding dress for cleaning the beginning of October, I was told it would be done in 3 weeks. I called in November to check on the status of the cleaning of my dress. Was told it would be done soon they were just «very busy». I called again in December, they had my dress for two months at this point, and was given the same answer… very busy, it would be done soon. I called again in January, THREE months now, they had my dress. I left a message, no return call. Three days later, left another message, no return call back. I got very nervous, this was not a cheap wedding dress and now they were not returning my calls! I went in to the store on a Saturday and asked for my dress. I was told it was not there it was being kept at another location, and was STILL not done! I asked them to bring it to the GV store so I could pick it up on Monday. I picked it up and drove it to another cleaner in town, and for the same price Mercury quoted me they cleaned my dress beautifully and I had it back in 2 weeks!

They were very cordial, but I was very disappointed when the cleaning was returned with a very strong odor of artificial perfume. That was quite unexpected, given that they advertise themselves as an eco-​friendly cleaners. Over one week has passed, and, after airing out the garments, the problem remains. Not recommended.

Great family owned and operated business, they really care about their customers and they have fabulous hours.
