Build your own organic breakfast burrito until 11 a.m. For lunch build your own organic burrito, quesadilla, or bowl. Gluten free tortilla option. Choose from a variety of organic salads. Soup in the winter. Order an organic burger, veggie burger, or grilled chicken sandwich. History

Established in 2014.

The owners Ron & Valentina owned a restaurant in the same parking lot of 6 years. They closed the doors 2÷7÷2014 & reopened in a new location, same parking lot, on the corner in a newer brighter building 9-​2-​2014. Mostly because of the community showing how badly they wanted them back providing the majority of the funds for reopening, they are back! New concept of popular foods made fast before your eyes, and all organic.

From Russia, looking for a new home, and a community to be part of. Nevada county has become her home, and the community is her new family. Married to Ron, her business partner, and their two children, call Grass Valley their home. The new addition of her sister Albina, added to the management team, makes it even more of a family owned and ran business.

I love the casual ambiance of Valentina’s. It’s friendly & relaxed & Valentina is such a lovely person, a delight if you have the the opportunity to meet her, a rare Gem in today’s fast pace. I also like the fact that I can pretty much be guaranteed a gluten free treat any time I pop in there, which is not found everywhere. Yum!

There are few places to go to enjoy a mid day snack or late lunch. Valentinos is a find. Great vegetarian hamburger, quesadillas, Borsht, and love the Asian salad. The staff has improved and really wants to please. The coffee is unbeatable. Problem is they close at 4. They could bring in some other dishes and make it a longer day, but I am so grateful to have them available for healthy breakfast or lunch when in the area.

Came in here after noticing they serve Peet’s coffee products. Little did I know how much of s gem this place is! I have not tried their food yet but am looking forward to coming back the next time I’m up the hill. They have friendly service and great beverages! Try a chai with a shot of espresso.

Geez, what a disappointment! I ordered the mushroom and green pepper omelet. It came with no mushrooms! When I mentioned it, the server behind the counter said she’d bring me some. My omelet was getting cold, so I ate it. By the time she brought the mushrooms, I was done! No apology, nothing! Valentina, get your staff some customer training.

Very happy to rediscover this place recently. They have a good menu with lots of organic food and the staff is excellent and kind. Burrito in a bowl is the best. LOVE that they use real dishes, and for the to-​go stuff, no styrofoam, etc. I have not tried their pastries or coffee but noticed they do fun fancy designs in their lattes which was nice to see. Definitely will be a return customer here!

Love this place. Couldn’t get a parking spot in Nevada city so stopped in this place because of Unilocal and am not disappointed! An very friendly staff recommended the veggie burger. Me and my friend shared the combo and we both loved it. Big fresh bun, lots of flavors going on. Served with a side salad that was a large portion Chinese chicken salad minus the chicken. Fresh greens, lots of crunch and very tasty sesame dressing. Hey we’re out of the organic chips so to us to grab a cookie on our way out. Thank you very much, will defiantly be hitting this place up next time I’m them rough this way.

Usually this place is quite good and I visit them at least once a week, but today… not so much. Dry chicken, burned almond slivers and a tiny dressing serving made for a fairly bad Asian Chicken Salad. I ended up throwing most of it away.
The mostly teenage staff needs more training.
I’m not terribly excited to eat there anymore.

Great, welcoming place! The customer service is on point, it’s always nice to be greeted at the door with a smile & hello.
I ordered an iced coffee & bagel; both we really good. I came here to study and it was a little too loud to get a good rhythm going in my reading. But I guess it’s a good thing for business, as they were pretty busy throughout my time there.
All in all, I’d come back again and try their burritos that just about everyone ordered!

I met my sister in law here for lunch and a coffee since we had never been. It was delicious.
Valentina greeted me with a huge hello and kind smile. I ordered a mocha and waited for my sister. The mocha was hands down the best blended mocha I’ve had in a very long time Valentina’s uses organic chocolate. Or you can get Peets per request.
Once my sister arrived we ordered lunch. If you’ve ever been to Chipotle then their lunch will be easy for you to order. It’s chipotle style but with FRESH, ORGANIC ingredients. My burrito was delicious. The brown rice was cooked to perfection and my sisters salad looked like they had gone out back and picked it, so fresh. Thank you Valentina for an amazing little spot to dine, have a coffee & a pastry, and enjoy some small town, local service.

This review is based on the obnoxious banter you have to go through every time you order something at Valentinas. Seriously, can you not ask me if I’m «having a super duper great day or just a regular great day?» Also asked me if the friend joining me is a «great friend or just a regular friend.»
You know most people just want to come in and order their food or juice and eat it or drink it, and then get out of the store. A simple smile with good service will work just fine. Also, the line situation with 2 registers on different sides of the store is confusing.

Food is still very good! Favorite is quinoa burger w/​Asian salad– no chicken! Though, there are two or three different lines, depending on what one orders. Upset customer came over to badger me while I was eating because she thought I cut in front of a long line. The long line is for burritos or salad bar. The line I went straight to is for burgers only! She did not know that and was very upset, then upsetting me, while I’m trying to digest! Not fun! I thought she was going to slap me, she was so upset!

Lovely bistro with delicious food and drinks. The selection of food is a little limited, but the quality and service is amazing! They also have gluten free options although they were out of several things, to be fair I did choose to visit on a Sunday, so they probably didn’t get a fresh morning delivery.
Highly recommended as a breakfast or lunch spot. I chose this as a place to stop in on my weekend travels and was very pleased!

Highly addictive scones. Organic and moist and full of berries.
The Chai is a tasty beverage. Add a shot of espresso= tasty caffeine.
The staff is friendly. They actually want you to have a pleasant time. They go out of their way to make sure of it.
Comfortable. Lots of light. A perfect place to sit and read or write.
Free books! (a library of books in the corner. take one/​leave one)
The burritos are epic. Typing about it… now I want one.

Was looking for something quick since I only got 30 minute lunch break at client site. Since this is my first time here (and essentially first time in Sacramento area) I was rather lost and needed to take a quick hard look at the menu before I could decide. The cashier probably spotted my confusion, because he immediately decided to help me.
Since I am doing this thing called the RESET challenge with Usana, I can only take in liquids during lunch hours. He quickly pointed me toward their organic vegetable/​fruit juice section. I decided to give it a shot, and boy was it a fantastic choice! I not only get a cup of organic vegetables in the form of drink for me, but it was also very delicious! I will definitely be coming back here for my daily lunch needs during my stay here in Sacramento.
