Our automotive maintenance services include oil changes, inspections, fluid flushes, and engine tune-​ups. We can perform a wide range of auto repair services, such as repair for engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension work, exhaust and emissions, and air conditioning. We handle electrical work, water and fuel pumps, starters and alternators, and more. A Good Mechanic can do any engine and transmission work including rebuilds, but we don’t perform body work.

Established in 2007.

With over 30 years of experience and 18 years in the business, Jeff Burbatt and his highly trained staff will «Fix Your Car» without the hassle and headaches of other auto mechanics. We proudly serve southern Wisconsin to central Illinois and all of Chicago and it suburbs. A Good Mechanic is focused on providing a high quality repair job at a reasonable price, and we make sure we actually fix the problem — no unnecessary charges or additional work.

Owner Jeff Burbatt has three decades of experience in the automobile repair industry, and has been running his own shop since the early 90s. His team is focused on doing quality work, ensuring customer satisfaction, and most importantly — honest business. They will communicate everything you need, and stay in otuch with you throughout the repair process.
