Established in 2006.

In 2006, Seize the Day Events was founded by Katie Hess, Peggy George and Rebecca Warner to provide wedding and event planning expertise to the Green Bay and surrounding area. The business continues to flourish and grow each year expanding to the non-​profit and charity markets.

Katie Hess founded Seize the Day Events in 2006 as a wedding and event planning company. Upon its inception her primary roles included setting up a marketing strategy, selecting inventory, as well as planning, designing, and coordinating events.

Even with the tremendous success of Seize the Day Events, Katie’s determination opened up a new corporate division, making Seize the Day Events even more profitable. For the past four years, Katie has more than doubled the company’s corporate business each year. And she is just getting started. Businesses which have used Seize the Day Events have come back again and again. These businesses include Fortune 500 companies as well as non-​profit organizations. The success of the corporate sector became so great that in 2014 Katie decided to remove the wedding sector of the company and focus entirely on non-​profit, social, and corporate events.
