No stars for this establishment. Made an appt to meet with a sales rep to purchase a Mazda 3 Grand Touring 2016. Having purchased cars from this dealer and loyal to their service Dept. We expected excellent customer service. Greeted by Mauricio in the lot, who proceeded to show us cars…“you don’t want that… and what’s wrong with this color… you won’t meet Jeff, he sent me.” Test drive was one word answers about any feature… Silent and belligerent. After asking to drive a Mazda 6, we decided to leave because his indifference made us uncomfortable. As we were leaving to go to another dealer, we told him we were unhappy with his attitude. He then SPIT at my son in his car as he drove away. DO NOT GO TO THIS AUTO DEALERSHIP! I notified the manager Ed Lopez about this experience. Drove 25minutes to route 18 Mazda and were treated to excellent service by experienced and motivated crew!

Horrible business practices with their service department. I just paid $ 80 for machine coffee and a 40 minute wait. During that 40 minute period, the technicians plugged a code reader into my car to find out why my VSC light came on, warranting their $ 120 labor fee. «But that’s our standard procedure,» he said. Just because it’s standard doesn’t make it right. After complaining, an mentioning the NJ labor rate, they did me the great favor of charging me only $ 80 for the 5 actual minutes spent on my car. An oxygen sensor in my fuel tank was the reason. I’m choosing to take my car to a trusty and honest mechanic in Martinsville. Even considering the $ 80 I wasted at Crystal, I will still save over $ 100 for the repair.

Thank you, David. I just spoke with Catherine, who was very pleasant to speak with. She reiterated the point that the $ 120 fee is the diagnostic fee — a standard, flat fee — that Crystal charges regardless of the actual labor time. She also clarified that the price of the service and repair is driven up by the fact that all parts and technicians are Toyota certified. Understanding this, I agreed that the prices at Crystal should be higher than at my local mechanic. However, there’s a $ 200 gap between my mechanic and Crystal for a sensor replacement. It appears to me that the service department is price gouging. Secondly, had the service manager been willing to talk with me when I requested, (s)he could have done some damage control and I would have gotten my repair done at Crystal. That didn’t happen though. Thanks again for reaching out.

I had a horrible service experience here. My car needed body repairs so I dropped it off with Crystal Toyota to be towed to their affiliated repair shop, Rob’s Collision. It took almost 2 weeks to be repaired. When it was ready, the shop let me know it would be back to the Crystal Toyota at 2pm. At 3pm I called the Toyota (always impossible to get ahold of anyone by phone there) was transferred to 3 different people before they told me it wasn’t there. I called several times again before closing time and was again passed around to several people who had not seen it. The service advisor, Mike, told me he would call me when it arrived, and I could pick up until 9pm because sales is open so keep checking back after 5pm. I called at 7pm and the sales associate said he’s not a service person so he can’t tell whether the car is there or not and call back in the morning. The service advisor never called me back so at 12pm the next day I called again to see what the hell was going on and where my car was. Voila the car is there! According to the repair shop who towed it back there it was there for a whole day and a half and no one at Toyota knew or bothered to check.
I called the manager to complain, who literally told me «I wouldn’t take my car to a place like that either, I don’t blame you» when I explained what happened. He told me he would follow up and then he never called me back either. Literally the most horrible service I have ever received, they clearly do not value their customers. I am inclined to take their service manager’s «advice» and take my business elsewhere, where the communication is not so abysmal/​nonexistent.

Had a few issues with my new car. Brought it in to be looked at. Staff was extremely helpful. Addressed my concerns and fixed everything in a timely fashion. Kept me up to date the entire time. Great service dept.

I had a really positive experience purchasing my car here. The salesman I worked with was so helpful, and took a lot of time to answer all of my questions regarding the Toyota that I was interested in purchasing. The entire process from inquiring about purchasing a car, to test-​driving the car, to discussing pricing and options went very smoothly! I recommend this car dealership to all of my friends and family; I would definitely come back and purchase my next car here!

Decent sales team. Bought a new car which included free service for the first 25k miles. Was a little disappointedly the service. I have been waiting for my oil change for over two hours. Good news is they have wifi (which I’m using to write this lackluster review)

My wife purchased a Prius in 07. We have always brought our car here for service. The level of service, knowledge and customer service is first rate. I highly recommend for sales and service.

This review is for the service department at this place. The service here is absolutely terrible. Every time I go for an oil change I have an appointment and I still have to wait an hour and a half to two hours. This wouldn’t seem so bad but the past two times I went to crystal one time they measured my front brake pads at 3 mm and the second report i got the next time I went they read my brake pads at 7 mm. How did my brakes improve!!! I then complained to kelly the manager and she seemed unfriendly and kept saying they know how to measure brakes and that they may not have taken the tire off. Well then why bother even giving the report and tell me I need new brakes the next time in when I just went to Firestone where they brought me out to the car and showed me that my brakes were a 7. Just a way better car service experience. Crystal auto mall should take some pointers from them! To continue with my bad experience the same time I got my second report I had taken a loaner car. The car was not filled with gas when I got it. The attendant noted that on the paper but I still ended up getting charged for a full tank of gas and nobody returns my phone calls to justify it.

These people are absolutely CRIMINIAL. Every stigma or stereotype you ever heard about a car salesman stands true at Crystal

They are
1. relentless
2. demoralizing (they must’ve questioned me about my credit 4 times, I have good credit)
3. unsympathetic to your needs as a customer.
I leased this car brand new and have had issues with it since the first month. Every time I call with a grievance they basically tell me it’s not their problem.
The guy I spoke to last literally told me if I wanted their help moving forward I would have to expect a higher monthly rate. What does my rate have to do with his ability to help me?
I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.
When this lease is up I don’t care what it costs I will NEVER get another car through Crystal.

This review pertains only to service costs. I did not buy a car here.
A standard 10k service for Prius C including synthetic oil and tire rotation costs $ 130.05 plus tax = $ 139.15 total.
The Prius C takes 3.9 quarts with oil/​filter change. I was charged for 5 quarts. That’s a $ 6.99 waste of money. Most people wouldn’t notice this, but I know the specs of this car. I cannot trust a service department that does this and will not be returning to this dealer again. Staff were fine and service was performed quickly but does not justify the cost.
For your information, the same service costs $ 62.35 plus tax = $ 66.72 at Dayton Toyota, where they have always charged me only for 4 quarts of oil. How can Crystal charge twice as much for the same basic service?

Luis was a great sales associate! He did a fantastic job helping us with our purchase! We wasn’t pushy, was extremely flexible and helped make our experience great. Crystal is a good dealership they just need to speed up paperwork process.

I experienced the typical Bait-​and-​Switch that gives car salesman a bad reputation.
I was very clear on the phone with the pricing I was offered by other dealers for a new 2015 Camry XLE lease. I was turning in a 2011 XLE, had an insurance claim for damage in which 100% was paid for all repairs, and had extra miles on my lease that needed to be addressed.
I explained all of this to Jeff B. at Crystal Auto Mall over the phone, and he gave me a lease price that was better than what the other three dealers provided.
I made sure he understood my issues (lease price, repair, and mileage overage), and he confirmed that it would not be a problem and that I should come in to sign the papers.
I drove over 45 minutes to Crystal — was passed by the salesman to a «customer service advisor» — and then waited almost an hour until the «manager» came out to say he wouldn’t be able to do the deal that was offered to me over the phone.
The repair he said was causing the problem — which wasn’t a problem for the other 3 dealers (the others couldn’t handle the mileage overage).
However, the manager said… if I would just leave $ 2,500 towards the repair, I could then work it out with my insurance carrier.
Bait-​and-​switch.
I walked out and leased my car that same afternoon from another dealership.
Normally, I would just say lesson learned — but these guys at Crystal were deceptive, deceitful and just liars.
Stay…away!

I had a great experience buying from Crystal Auto Mall. Victor and Edmund went out of their way to get me the best possible deal with no hassles and made buying a car seem so easy. I am very satisfied with the customer service and could not ask for anything better. I went to other dealerships but did not get the same friendly service as here. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and ask for Victor or Edmund!

I purchased a 2014 Toyota Prius here in mid-​September. I went in, told them what I wanted and how much I was willing to pay. They were pretty straight forward with pricing and it didn’t take us too long to come to a deal. My sales rep was also dealing with another client during this process so he wound up bringing in his sales manager and dealt directly with him. A little weird and kind of annoying that my sales rep could do that when there were at least 3 other sales people just sitting around who could have helped me.
But then came everything else. I went in the next day with my family to fill out the paperwork. It took FOREVER. My sales rep had the day off so he was having someone else step in. That other sales rep had at least 2 – 3 couples he was working with at the same time. The sales manager from the night before wound up helping me out and taking me through the process. I know it’s a major decision but buying a car shouldn’t be so drawn out and take so long. It’s time to streamline! Once I was in the backroom though, it went pretty quickly and smoothly. Paperwork was signed and I had my car in no time. Props to the back room. Also, the sales rep that went over the features of the car was AWESOME. Very through and very knowledgeable.
The car was exactly what I wanted and what the deal was for. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
So now it came time to go to the dealership for my 5,000 mile service. I made an appointment for 4pm on a Tuesday. I arrived about 12 minutes early, gave them my car and went inside. I sat for 10 – 15 minutes to wait for a service person to call my name while 3 others just hung out at their desk talking with each other. The one working service guy finished up with his previous customer and called my name. He entered in the info pretty quick and sent me up to the waiting room– by this time it was around 4:15pm. Pro about the waiting area– free wifi– and thank got they had it. I was up stairs for a total of 1.75 hours. I finally went downstairs around 6pm to see what was up with my car and the service guy told me they just finished it.
I am pretty disappointed with my service experience. 2 hours for an oil change with an appointment? That’s a little crazy! I’m very disappointed.

Continues to be a great place to have your car serviced. They got rid of the reception desk and the nasty woman who used to sit there. Now, you go directly to your service rep. My rep is Anthony George, who is about the best service rep you could possibly get. He’s friendly, efficient, and most important, knows his stuff. Can’t beat that!

I have been going to Crystal Mazda over the last 3 years for my regular servicing. I worked with Victor Rodriguez (who no longer works there) and now with Chris Liquido. They have been absolutely wonderful to work with and provide incentives and rebates that I have not seen anywhere else. After such a wonderful experience I went back to buy a car with them and Ryan Marcussen dealt with us. He was extremely patient and gave us advice and time to make our decisions. He was one of the best dealers I have seen. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this dealer to everyone who are planning to buy Toyota/​Mazda

Service takes forever. 8am appointment for oil and tire rotation as part of 5k maintenance took over hour and a half on a Tuesday. Not weekend. Tuesday.

Got a great price on a Prius. Went down to buy it and they said «oops, we gave you the wrong car for that price». We did have it in writing from them. Then they tried to ‘bait and switch’. They lost my business for good!

Stay away — these people are dishonest, and don’t care to waste your time.
I was looking for a new Highlander XLE. They had one, and I exchanged a few emails with their internet support person, who gave me their internet price for the. While I was interested in. I called her, and said that I was willing to pay a certain price for it. Her response was that she spoke to her manager — David), and she said that «David it’s a quiet day so he will make it happen. Just come by — when will you be there.»
I responded that I want to make sure that this was a done deal, as I live 30 miles away, and the entire trip would be about an hour and a half, and I did not want to loose time and has. She said that it was.
Clearly — and offer and acceptance, right? I showed up about 2 hours later. Was introduced to Amanda (Internet sales person) and manager David. Then I was told that he had the paperwork and the price we agreed to. So far, so good, right?
Test drove the vehicle, and said that I may consider providing by truck as a trade-​in. While they were checking the truck a sales person said that he was told that the price was aged to, but it was NOT the price David agreed to, and instead the original internet price. I politely told him that this was not the agreed to price, provided that actual price, and asked home to confirm with David (difference of over $ 1,200).
Then, someone else showed up (apparently another manager) who did not give his name — not David, who lowered the price by $ 200 or so. I responded that this was not the deal David and I agreed to, and asked to see David. He refused to have David come out, and alleged that David never agreed to anything, but to «listen to my offer.»
What a complete lie! He could not listen to my offer on the phone. I complained that they lied to me, and wasted my time and money. He did not care at all.
What a horrible place, and a waste of my time and money. This looks like a sales tactic — bait and switch. Go elsewhere.

Recently I purchased a pre-​owned 2011 Rav4. The vehicle had about 27,000 mi on it. They did the maintenance and then we drove it off the lot. I do have to say the salesman, Omar, was an amateur. He gave us the keys to a 2013 carolla to test drive… we had asked for an SUV. He insisted we did not and just asked for a four door car.
After that frustration, things seemed to go smoothly. Had a family friend double check the liquids and all. They changed NOTHING (oil was dipstick was black). In addition… there was no spare tire on the back. It was absurd!
I’ve been back about 5 times since my purchase in October because they conveniently «forgot» to do something.
I should also mention, our temporary license was stolen off the vehicle while it was in for maintenance. When we initially notified the mechanics they shrugged and said it happens. The file was reported. The dealership lied and said the license was stolen from our house which made no sense because… it was at the lot.
It’s been a headache back and forth. I wish I had just gone to a higher rated dealership and spent a few more thousand instead of paying attention to the costco discount I was getting.
I busted my tire… and now they don’t have the information of what type of tire it should be. I wish I could just sell it back… it’s that frustrating.
My advice: go somewhere else where you are treated better.

Typical highway sales lot. Buyer beware. If you go in knowing what you want it’s fine but they do double talk you there. Was there helping my mother purchase a car and asked if a leather upgrade was still available. They said yes. Asked if it was a Toyota factory leather upgrade. They said yes. Asked if it would be Toyota OEM parts used. They said yes. We say ok and buy the car. Have to wait a week and when we go pick it up, it’s obvious the leather upgrade is an aftermarket upgrade since the manufacturers tag is pretty blatant when you open the front doors. Did not appreciate being blatantly lied to about what we were buying since their markup (oh.“installation fee”) was over double what a quick google search turned up for the same package.
They were decent with the base price of the car.
The leather upgrade is decent but they definitely sold us a package that wasn’t factory available and represented it as OEM equipment.
After dealing with a lot of salesmen BS they eventually made it somewhat right, but they did a great job of souring the whole experience for my mom who was excited as a kid on christmas to get a new car after 10 years, and had to deal with this crap instead of just driving off a happy, satisfied, customer.
I guess stereotypes are true though. F’in car salesmen. haha

I had to drop several stars from my last review. I’m going to be very specific about what happened so you have to take it with a gran if salt.
The service guys should receive 5 stars. Everything in my review was true. If you buy from Crystal the service guys will take care of you.
That said I recently traded in the Rav for a Highlander @ Autoland, a sister dealership on Rt. 22. During the trade-​in process it was revealed to us that the original sales person at Crystal Automall lied to us outright. That sales person who is no longer at Crystal told us that the Rav4 we were buying was clean with no accidents and that she had put the last owner of our Rav4 into that car 3 years prior. It turned out that the car came from another dealership and not Crystal Automall and that the car was in a prior accident. She said it was clean and Toyota certified so we didn’t need to see the carfax. We were stupid enough to believe her. The car ran fine but this greatly affected the trade in value of the car. Because of this I have to knock some stars off from my review. A plus for customer service guys but a big shame shame for sales tactics that involved lying to the customer.
The difference in trade in because of the accident was roughly $ 3K!
