We are a family owned and operated full service furrier with full line of furs, leather, shearling, jackets, coats, vests, accessories in Central NJ since 1946. We have our cold storage vault onsite and perform cleaning, glazing, repairs, remodels and restyles at our facility in Green Brook, NJ. History

Established in 1946.

Established in 1946 Carmine Guarino, founder of Furs by Guarino opened the doors for business in Plainfield, NJ in 1946. Along with his wife, Philomena, this Italian immigrant ran a successful shop for nearly 30 years before his son, John Guarino, took the reins in the mid-70’s. Guarino’s moved to the Route 22, Green Brook location in the 80’s where 3^rd generation, Jennifer Guarino works with John today.

Business Owner

John G., the owner and president of Furs by Guarino, has successfully guided this family business through varying economic conditions over the past 40 years. He is the son of Carmine G., the founder of Furs by Guarino, and is a Master Furrier of unmatched skill and ability. Always eager to collaborate with his customers creatively, John will never hesitate to bring a design idea to fruition. He can often be found in our workshop diligently designing, cutting, and sewing any number of fine furs such as mink, fox, beaver or raccoon. An avid kayaker, skiier, gardener and grandfather of 4, John keeps busy when not in the Fur Store! Stop in to our Green Brook shop and say «hello!». John will be happy to see you.
