I really like this place. It’s been our go to for carry out type fare as of late. The neighboring spots like Kenny’s, Goody’s and Danny’s have all gone down hill. When we’ve wanted good Chinese, we’ve had to ventured to DC, but I digress. This place is nice and clean. Not great for dining in, but you could. What impresses me most is that every time we’ve ordered over the freebie threshold, the said freebie comes with the order-no coupon ever is required. I’ve gotten the free soda, free chicken fried rice and free general tso’s without ever asking or using a coupon; take out places don’t do that anymore, especially without you giving them a coupon. Hopefully this place remains consistent. Customer service and good food. You can’t go wrong.

I must say, to be a Chinese spot in a strip mall, this place will make a believer out of you. Not a good place to dine in due to lack of seating, but great or take out. The service is great and you see everything that is cooked which to me is always a plus with carry out spots. The orders are plentiful and there is no trace of MSG. Highly recommend the jumbo shrimp with broccoli… it’s the best I have ever had!

The only reason I give it a star was because the crab rangoon was good. I also got general tso chicken and steamed dumplings. The dumplings were 80% dough and very little filling. The general tso was mushy and flavorless. I also got it with fried rice which was also complete mush and mostly bean sprouts. I couldn’t even finish it. Service was really nice though.

I have to give Good Jerry 5 stars in the category of carry out. I have visited many times since they opened and I am always satisfied after my meal. I’ve had both the American and Chinese fare, and all gives you that carryout food ‘high’ without the ‘I’m a disgusting person’ low that one can get after a trip to the corner carryout. The place is clean; staff friendly; and the food hits the spot. My preferred carryout.

Yes! 5 stars for a counter service quick American Chinese place. Service is excellent. Quick, accurate, friendly. The place is clean and well tended. The kitchen is as well. The food is fresh and flavorful without being greasy or overly sauced. The quality is excellent. The portions are generous and the prices are the fairest you will find. This is our go-to quick and easy, we have not been disappointed yet. It’s better food than fast food at the same cost and just as convenient. Greenbelt’s best kept secret.

Good Jerry is definitely 5 star for being a carry out Chinese food place. The rice is good –not greasy. The serving sizes are plentiful and the prices are affordable. I’ve had the fried rice, Szechuan shrimp, and the general Tso’s chicken and I have not been disappointed with any of them. The food is always hot. I usually don’t do carry out Chinese but with Good Jerry’s I would highly recommend.

Out shopping, feeling peckish, couldn’t resist the name ;-) Pretty much your standard Chinese + subs + fried stuff store, with a counter and some tables. Clean, friendly service. No fountain, just can and bottled beverages. Moo Goo Gai Pan was a generous serving for $ 6, lots of tender chicken, no steenking broccoli. But canned mushrooms, a bit too much celery to go with the bok choi, bamboo shoot, snow peas, and water chesnuts, and very timid seasoning keep it down to three stars.
