I came to see Dr Poulos for a BA a few months ago, I am now one month post op and could not be any more pleased with the results. At my consult I let him know what I wanted and he listened and showed me all my options on a digital program system and goes over everything in great detail and is very thorough, I had so many questions going into it and he had answered everything before I could even ask! His bedside manner, professionalism and personality put you at ease as soon as you sit down with him. I knew I was in good hands within 5 minutes of my consultation and knew I had chosen the right doctor. When the day of surgery came I decided I wanted him to do whatever looked best on my frame, which was prefect! (That’s how much I trust him!) The front desk are all so friendly and helpful, after surgery I had lots of questions and when I called more then once everyone was so happy to answer my questions. I got a call after surgery as well from Holly checking on me which made me feel very special and a lot more comfortable during my first few days of recovery. I would highly recommend this office and Dr Poulos to anyone who wants to enhance there body in any way. I’ll be returning for anything else I need done in the future. I just can’t thank them enough!!!

Went to Dr. Hvistendahl for botox, and full stars for that as well!!! (Please make sure and read my previous breast augmentation review!) He took his time explaining the whole process to me, and what he was doing. I got even better results than the last place I went for botox, and next time I get botox I will be coming back here! Arched my eyebrows perfectly, and gave me a follow-​up appointment to check the overall results, where he added a tiny bit more for free. They charge per CC, which means you’re not getting watered down stuff, or skimped on the amount. Great experience, and like I said in my other review, I highly recommend coming here!

I had a consultation with Dr. Poulos and while he was very professional, he wanted to do a cosmetic tummy tuck on me. I actually had pretty low body fat at the time, around 18%, and it should have been obvious to him that I had diastasis recti and needed a muscle repair surgery, not a cosmetic one. I also had a very large umbilical hernia which he missed.
I got two other opinions and both doctors confirmed the diastasis and umbilical hernia which I had another cosmetic surgeon fix with a muscle repair tummy tuck. The price for Dr. Poulos’ cosmetic skin lift option, and having the actual muscle repair that I needed from another doctor, were pretty close.
Shop carefully.

I have nothing but great things to say about this practice. The staff and Dr. Hvistendahl are outstanding. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with altering my physical appearance.

Dr. H and his whole staff is outstanding. I am almost at a loss for words with how happy I am that I chose him as my surgeon. I got a breaat augmentation at a young age and wasn’t educated. I came to Dr. H 5 years after for a consultation. I had no expectations. But As soon as he walked into the room, I knew that I was going to schedule for surgery. He listened, educated and created a plan. I am a hairdresser in Marin and I have seen many of his clientele, not only is he amazingly talented… he is honest and caring. I also see Dr. H for regular Botox. I have only seen him, and it will stay that way forever. No one can even tell that I have it! Everyone just says I look bright and super refreshed. He always makes sure to tell me if I am overdoing it too, and will actually refuse to inject more until it is necessary. If I could give 50 stars, I would.

Love them! Lyvia is amazing, and Dr. Hvistendahl is so down to earth and ethical. I have also recently met with Lauren for Botox, she is not only adorable but knowledgeable about the products and results. I would never feel comfortable going anywhere else. We all have our reasons for heading to their office and I feel that they will give you honest and trust worthy recommendations and expectations.

The staff here is absolutely amazing! I first came to Dr. Poulos a little over 4 years ago for a consultation about reducing the size of my nose and have been nothing but extremely satisfied ever since. Dr. Poulos is so amazing and was so patient with my family and I asking a billion questions. I have always been self conscious about my nose and was so nervous about going into surgery, especially since I have friends who have had to have multiple surgeries to get the results they wanted from different surgeons. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, but Dr. Poulos took the time to show me different looks on his computer and what would look best for my face. A few weeks after my surgery, when all the swelling had gone down and I could actually see my nose I was so happy. I have never felt so beautiful and confident before, and it was all thanks to Dr. Poulos! I would recommend this place to any person looking for a professional, experienced surgeon, it was worth every penny and even more!

Dr. Hvistendahl and the entire crew were beyond awesome!!! I would give them way more stars if I could. I had a breast augmentation that was super easy. I love the results and the recovery was basic. Love Love Love everything about this office and the people in it! Do it!

Everyone is always very professional and the facility is beautiful. A very positive experience and went completely as expected!

Extremely professional and the most effective botox treatment with minimal sticks ever experienced. a long time botox user, since the 90’s, Dr. H. is the BEST! Plus, amazing results, with an arch and a flair.

I have a very bad experience with the results of my surgery. Even after a few years, I can see the damage done.

I had an otoplasty and breast augmentation. I was very satisfied with my experience and had every thing I needed and more. No surprises along the way and the whole staff is so nice and helpful. Would highly recommend any procedure with dr polouse.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE DOCTORS, BUT ABOUT THE OFFICE AND HARASSING EMAILS.
I went to PSS’s website to ask some questions about surgery. Renee (their sales rep/​patient coordinator) got back very shortly. I decided this was not going to be the right practice for me. After telling Renee so, the harassment started. «We can discount the consultation fee» «NO THANK YOU STOP EMAILING ME» then 2 weeks later «here’s a special offer!» «KNOCK IT OFF» «look at these savings!» «OMFG»… After the 3^rd email from her and the 3^rd email I sent telling her to stop, I called Plastic Surgery Specialist’s office. CONVENIENTLY RENEE WAS OUT OF THE OFFICE. I told the receptionist of the harassing emails and asked to be taken off any «list». She said she would «speak to Renee». «NO YOU NEED TO GO IN TO HER COMPUTER AND DELETE MY INFORMATION» «I’ll see what I can do.»
Just now, I received another email from Renee.
For the love of god, don’t even bother contacting this office.
Are the surgeons that hard up that they have to make someone into a SALES REP TO CONSTANTLY HARASS PEOPLE UNTIL THEY GET MONEY?!

I will be keeping my one star review as a reminder of how much trouble you have caused me and hopefully will NOT cause anyone else,

I had Dr. Poulos do fat transfer to enhance My lips. This was a year ago. Swelling took some time to diminish so it took time to get the true look after surgery… When all was said and done, the lower lip was fuller to one side contorting my mouth. Just recently went to a specialist in Carmel… She fixed his mistake… I do not recommend him for mouth. The price was at NO savings either.

My fiancé and I researched quite a few Bay Area plastic surgery centers, and eventually decided on PSS and Dr. Poulos for her Breast Augmentation. From beginning to end, the experience was fantastic; plenty of support answering any and all questions/​concerns we had, a very friendly staff, clean facility, etc. Dr. Poulos helped her feel very comfortable during all of our pre-​op sessions. The surgery itself went as well as you could expect, and the post-​op attention we received was exemplary. The results were exactly as we expected based on the pictures that were loaded into the special surgical software they use — three months post-​op and her breasts look exactly like the software output we were shown. All-​around amazing experience, thank you Dr. Poulos, and PSS!

I cannot express the extent of my gratitude to Dr Mohebali. He first treated me in the emergency room the day before Thanksgiving in 2011. I had fallen and had significant lacerations on my face. A year later and no one can tell I was injured. Not only is he exceptionally skilled (and a perfectionist — a good attribute for a plastic surgeon) but he is compassionate. He made me feel calm and comfortable.
I saw him again this October for a procedure that I had wanted for over 20 years but was always afraid to pursue because of the invasiveness of surgery. Because of my previous experience with him, I was very comfortable scheduling a consultation and subsequent surgery. My experience with Dr Mohebali and his staff — from the consultation to surgery and through recovery — could not have been better. He is professional, compassionate and, most importantly, a very skilled plastic surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Mohebali and Plastic Surgery Specialists in Greenbrae. I am so grateful that he was on call that night in 2011. I am fortunate to have been his patient — twice!

Dr. Mohebali and his staff were really easy to work with. They were all very reassuring and you can FEEL how much they actually CARE about their patients! I was recommended to this office by a close friend. I just had my procedure done this morning and I’m feeling pretty good (considering I had my 1^st general anesthesia). Everyone was professional, kind and warm hearted. It felt like home from my consultation on!

Dr. Paulos recommended me to their new HCG program while he was giving me Botox. I was very excited to begin this program and had high hopes. I met with Rachelle for my first consultation and had my most recent/​extensive lab work sent to her. I had told her I had a hard time losing weight and she said that she knows exactly why I am having this problem after looking at my labs. With such confidence, she tells me I have a disease that I will have to live with forever which is called HASHIMOTO’s! Wow, that was a lot to take in, especially after working with the leading Endocrinologists and Dr. s’ in Marin and San Francisco. I was so desperate for an answer, I totally believed her and listened to her telling me I could never eat gluten again. That’s quite a lot to take in, and I was very depressed for DAYS until I heard back from my Endocrinologist. The Endocrinologist who is very well known in Marin said I absolutely 10 000% do not have Hashimoto’s, and that it is a ridiculous claim. My other Endocrinologist confirmed the same, and said that is one of the first things they check. At that point, I should have walked away! However, desperate to lose weight and to try HCG, I stuck with it.
The entire time I felt like I was starving while trying to adhere to the 500 calorie per day diet however I stuck to it perfectly. I was told I could lose up to 30 lbs per month and I had only lost 17 lbs which seemed slow — especially because I stuck on the diet for 40 days. I didn’t feel consulted through the entire program. I would ask questions and it was clear Rachelle just did not know. She also used scales that you could buy at Bed Bath and Beyond. You would think that if they are charging over $ 1K for a diet plan, that they’d have a professional scale. Also, she would actually lead me thru the back way to her office past the operating room where I could see patients on the table! I would never get a procedure done here knowing people can walk thru and see!
The biggest concern was that the whole plan was lacking a personal/​customizable approach. The whole time I had questions she would just tell me to read what was on the paperwork she gave me. She also sent me for blood work, which I had already had transferred to her, and it came to a total of $ 350.00 (that insurance does not cover). So with the $ 1K plan, and vitamins/​supplements, including the $ 350.00, I can tell you this was a MAJOR WASTE of money! Two weeks later I ended up going to an actual Dr. in Mill Valley who told me that the type of supplements Rachelle was giving me was not potent enough to make a difference. He said that I was basically on a starvation diet, which I know is true because now I have done both plans. I have lost 35 lbs with the new Dr. and he and his team are extremely professional and they work with me and my body type instead of referring to what the book/​paperwork says. Do not waste your money here for HCG!!! This was the dumbest $ 1500.00 I have ever spent. Rachelle is extremely inexperienced and should not be diagnosing people with false life long diseases.

I recently had a breast lift by Dr Poulos and I am soooo happy! I am 59 years old (Today!!) — It was my birthday present to myself.) I was tired of my loose breasts falling into each other when I was wearing a v-​neck and my cleavage was just loose skin that I kept trying to push back into my bra. Not a fun thing.
I had a lift and augmentation to bring me to the 34 – 36 C I had been most of my life. Give or take the times I had gained weight and was a 36 D. BUT/​AND the best part is that my breasts are firm and stand up on their own! There is NO loose skin falling into each other. What a gift!
I had the surgery on Tuesday and took the medication and iced as guided. I NEVER felt pain. I stayed home until the following Monday’s post op appointment, not because I felt I needed to but becasue it was suggested to me, to let the inner sutures heal.
It is now two weeks later and no one knows but boy does everyone think I look GREAT! Funny thing! Yea! Yea! Yea!
I am so happy I decided to do this!
To get a lift and augmentation to be the stand up and firm woman I was in my youth. Or actually even better than I remember.
If I can do it, so can you!

Dr. Hvistendahl and his ENTIRE STAFF are EXCELLENT– I can’t say enough on how professional yet VERY comfortable I felt thru the WHOLE process– From the phone consultation with Dede and Renee, till the moment I awoke in recovery and the Nurse (I forgot her name) who was taking care of me– I never had such a PLEASANT experience considering how Scared and Nervous I was before going under the knife. I am now 2 weeks post-​op AND I LOVE THE WORK Dr. Hvistendahl has done–
One thing he said to me… «i’m here to help you» AND YES — HE is a man of his word :) Definately WORTH IT–
