The hamburgers were boring and so greasy that the tasteless bun feel apart. The only tasty and unique item is the Onion chips. I’ll stop by for these and that’s it.

Stopped in during a long road trip(in which I avoided nearly all chains) after literally driving right past this place. Was fairly crowded, and I put in my order right after a family of four did. Consequently, it took a while to get my food, maybe 15 minutes(I was 9 hours into my 10 hour drive, so I was impatient). Had a burger with melted cheddar, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions, with a side of «pickle fries», i.e., fries coated with breading and deep fried. The burger was quite good, although messy, and the fries were unique and tasty. Three or four would have been sufficient, but in my order there must have been 40. Around $ 12, and I managed once again to stay away from that other burger restaurant with the creepy clown out front.

Charlie’s is a place to train future employees that find it difficult to find work. I am so proud of my community. The food is quite good. The restaurant is roomy and always very clean. The service is friendly just keep in mind this is an educational setting.

Great space, good hot food served fresh, and locally operated. Much better thank other burger options in town.

This was our first visit to Charle’s. The restaurant was clean and the cashier was friendly. She greeted us and offer to explain the menu to us as we told her it was our first time. Menu consisted of burgers and sandwiches with choice of cheeses, free toppings, and extra charge toppings. They also have Blue Bell hard serve ice cream and shakes. We opted for the week day lunch special. Monday-Friday 11−2p $ 4.99 double cheese combo served with fries and a drink. My husband got pickle fries(deep fried pickles) for $ 1.30 extra. They bring the food to your table for you after you order. When it arrived, the visual looked great. Fries and pickle fries were fresh and hot. However, after the first bite of the burger, it wasn’t as appealing. The burger was very greasy and the bun was soggy with grease. Neither of us finished the burger. Charlie’s is a franchise fast food restaurant that boasts ‘beefcake’ burgers. They are thin patties much like those of Steak and Shake. Then they offer a variety of topping choices much like Five Guys. Overall, the place offered some great little positives(service, cleanliness and price) but the burger was definitely a negative. If we give this place another try, we will not be ordering the burgers.

We have eaten there twice now. The coney sauce tasted burnt both times, maybe the bottom of the pan sauce? The service was just below average. Seemed almost like it was a hassle to take our order. Nothing special about the food.

25 minutes for a burger and fries. Maybe 10 other people in the restaurant when I got there.

Charlie’s is delicious! I haven’t tried the burgers, which is what they’re known for, but I have tried other things on their menu. Their chicken wraps and spinach wraps are delicious and healthy. They catered for us this summer and it was always a huge hit – people were amazed they came from Charlie’s because they thought they only made burgers! Check out the rest of the menu if you feel like switching it up. You won’t be sorry!

Now that Beefcake Burgers has infused their taste to Charlie’s, it gets a major upgrade! Fresh angus beef, hand dipped milkshakes, and an amazing staff! The trifecta of taste, atmosphere, friendliness! Beef On!

Charlie’s is amazing! In the past several months, much has been done to improve the service and the food. You will not be disappointed with the burgers! They are amazing! You can stack them as high as you want and there are lots of free toppings so you can make it just like you like it. I also recommend the salad, the poppers, and the BLT. The atmosphere is very friendly and the place is very clean. You can’t beat the prices either! Definitely worth checking out!

The new Best Burger in Town! In fact, there isn’t even a close 2nd. Beefcake Burgers at Charlie’s is a perfect match. This eatery understands what makes people want to ring the dinner bell and come back again and again. They value quality ingredients as much as I do and if you don’t mind waiting a couple minutes longer that a typical fast food joint, you’ll be in for a perfect, all-American meal. If you went to Charlie’s before Beefcake Burgers partnered with them, then I’m sorry. But try it now, they make it up to you x10!

I was in three months ago because I craved a coney. The coney wasn’t too bad, but there were some MAJOR issues with service and cleanliness. I wouldn’t ever have gone back, but I heard that there were some big changes made to the restaurant. I thought I would give it another try. What a great change! I don’t know what all happened, but this was the best burger… Actually the best overall FOOD I’ve had since moving to Indiana. I don’t know what you changed, but kudos to your manager! I’ve been back many times since and the food is always top notch. Keep up the great work!

Cheap fast food in a restaurant like atmosphere. We ordered the chicken nuggets, chicken wrap, smothered fries, smothered hot dog, and a pulled pork sandwich. The kitchen is open so you can see them grilling and deep frying. Just don’t look back there. Everything was very very average but for $ 10, you can’t really complain too much. Since we already didn’t feel like fat asses, we got a vanilla cone & vanilla Oreo Shake. Both good. Until we found 2 short hairs in the Oreo Shake. Now we can complain. F-ing disgusting. Weeks later and I’m still holding back vomit.

I was invited to a special pre-opening to sample the food, and it is great! The menu has a lot to offer at a reasonable price, and the service was great.
