Thompson’s Karate Studio is a family owned martial arts school founded in 1990 by Herbert Thompson (a 5^th degree Black Belt). Mr. Thompson has been teaching Tae Kwon Do and mixed martial arts programs to the Washington County and Franklin County areas for over 20 years. Thompson’s Karate Studio has been teaching adults and children Tae Kwon Do and self defense by incorporating other styles such as Jujitsu, Akido, and Krav Maga tactical combat training into our program. We are professionally affiliated with the Martial Arts Industry Association. Our staff attend seminars to provide the best possible programs for our students.

Mr. Thompson has been training in the martial arts since the 1970’s. He began his career as a student at Smith’s Karate located then in Hagerstown, Maryland.
