Competition Racing Indoor Karting Center

Have been to this place twice, the first time we were the only ones there (had my two kids with me). The young lady at the front counter didn’t even acknowledge us and let us walk on by. Having never been there before I didn’t know the protocol. We walked around the empty lobby for a while, looked at the track, and then had to ask some guy who came in from the track what we had to do. He pointed to the girl at the counter and continued on about his business. Didn’t feel welcome at all. After paying for the three of us (not cheap by the way). She pointed where to go and we were left on our own. I just figured it being our first time which we told her it was and no one else there but us, I expected to be helped a little more. The cars were fun and we did enjoy the short time it lasted, but the service was terrible. We left with no one saying a word to us. We let several months go by and my son and I decided to give it another chance. Figured it was just a bad day last time. Nope. Was treated exactly the same way. They even acted annoyed we were even there. If you just want to ride the cars and nothing else, it’s ok. But don’t expect any kind of service, friendliness, or excitement. Just shove you in the car and tell you when you’re finished. Must all be relatives working there because they just don’t care

This place was a blast. I’m not real sure what we paid because it was for my birthday. We went here before the Casino one night and the 8 of Us had a blast. The track is in my opinion very big for being indoor. It’s got one straight away that runs the length of the building so you get a chance to run the car up. They provide helmets and this panty hose hat thing. If you ask my buddy «some of the cars are faster». That may or may not be true. It does have a very slight gas smell. They’ve got it ventilated but after the cars have been running for a few minutes you’ll notice it. I cant say I remember wearing it all night thou so it’s not enough to make ruin your night if you’ve got other things planned. Worse comes to worse pack an extra shirt. Theirs a computer thing that averages out whose who and fastest time/​winner etc. If your a gambler, you might be able to hustle a beer or so out of friends. The Employees let Us have Our fun w/​o being overly hostile about bumping the girls into walls and each other. Granted we didn’t take it to bumper cars extreme.
All in all, good clean safe fun
Pros– Clean. Employees where cool. Cars are fast. I think it’s cheap. Computer print out for bragging rights.
Cons– If I had to be an absolute nit pick, I’d say the gas smell. It’s really not that bad thou and that’s nit picking. I don’t remember seeing 2 seat go karts. I’m not saying they don’t have them, only I don’t remember seeing them. So taking a little one to have some fun may not be an option. Call to confirm thou.

This review is for a corporate event we held here for around 40 people. They were very accommodating for our group and had quick response times when planning the event. We had the place to ourselves and used their large meeting space for a business meeting in advance of the racing, which worked well. We had a separate caterer bring in lunch, which was set up in a smaller, adjacent room.
Everyone loved the actual racing event. For groups, they do a «Le Mans» style racing competition where the group is split into teams and competes on total number of laps, with a victory lap and trophy ceremony at the end of 2 hours of racing. The cost overall for the day was very reasonable when compared with other kart racing options in the area (Full Throttle Indoor Karting, Springdale, OH and Web Extreme Entertainment, Liberty Twp, OH) and they seemed more prepared and responsive for a corporate group in particular.
The only thing that was a negative for me as a participant was that since the track was indoors and totally enclosed, the fumes got really intense in the track area. I actually had to go sit in the lobby after a while because of a fume-​induced headache. If you’re there for a shorter time, it’s probably not a huge issue.

A few years back, I learned of this little gem tucked away off the beaten path near Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg.
Indoor go-​carting, it’s something I’ve never seen before, so I was excited to try it out. One race lasts 8 minutes, and it’ll cost you $ 12, but believe me, it’s worth it. The track itself has some tight turns, which are good for sliding and drifting, but not a good idea when you’re neck and neck with someone. There’s a fairly decent straightaway where you can build up some decent speed… the go-​carts themselves top out at about 40 miles per hour.
The good thing about the place is that you are timed against the people you are riding with, so you can bring bragging rights and smack talk into play… sadly, I always end up getting the slowest one there, coincidence? I think not… bad luck on my part.
You have to wear a helmet though for obvious reasons, and you can dress up in a full racing suit although I’ve never done it. The place is solid, and it’s usually packed on Friday or Saturday nights when I go, so get there as early as possible if you can, sometimes you can wait an hour or more before racing. And don’t forget to call ahead to make sure they are doing open racing as this place is rented out quite a bit, to put it as Channel 9’s John Matarese says, «so you don’t waste your money!»
All in all, it’s a good place, fun time, and a great stress reliever. Just don’t think you’re in the go cart when leaving. And it’s right near Hollywood Casino, so you can go over there and gamble for a bit if you want… definitely check it out. I need to get back out there soon, it’s been awhile!

This is the best place I’ve ever been with regards to go-​karts. These are fast carts and it’s pretty fun. They time your race so you can see (on a printout at the end) if you’ve beat your friends or not.
The inside track is a little small, so the turns are tight. But still, very fun and worth the dollars.

This as far as i know is the only karting ring in the greater Cincinnati. So being a motor head, and a karting enthusiast i had to check it out. I have to be honest, i’m not the biggest fan of indoor karting, especially on that cement. It’s better than nothing i guess (that’s why it has 4 stars)
They do time you, which is cool because I can take my time and refine my lines accordingly, sadly the staff has no clue to what the track line should be. seriously?!
Oh and it’ll get boring after a while, they only offer 9hp karts no upgrade system in place where if you have enough hours you could get a faster kart (not that they have any)
The only reason I still go there is to try to beat the record, or at least get close. i’m still a full 2 seconds over :((checked the staff times, terrible)

I think I missed my calling. I should’ve been a race car driver.
I’ve done go-​kart racing before, but this place is different. It is the real deal. These are real European-​style karts, competition quality that can reach speeds of 35mph on the straights! And that is fast when you are inches of the ground. To complete the professional feel you wear a full racing helmet, and you have the option of wearing a racing suit (unfortunately the ones in my size were ripped up).
If you just read the description on the website, you might think it isn’t worth the money. The track looks small, and you only get 8 – 10 minutes of track time per race. But if you have a good group of racers you will be whipped by the end of the race. The adrenaline and concentration will tire you out.
Of course, once you rest for a few minutes, you’ll be itching to get back out there and race again. BEWARE, it is addictive!
They have a limited food and drink menu (hot dogs, etc.) to fuel up between races, along with a small dining area.
Just remember, when you leave, your car does NOT handle like a kart, so be careful pulling out of the lot.
