Performance Automotive Machine & Engines has been in continuous operation since 1989. We have a complete machine shop that allows all work to be done in-​house. This allows us to ensure that our strict standards are met in our machining and engine building process. We build custom competition engines for street, strip and oval track. We also do restoration engines and diesel work.

History

Established in 1989.

Performance Automotive was founded by Robert «Bob» Myers in 1989. Bob has always had a passion for racing and engine building. He has put together many winning engine combinations during his career. As a former racer himself, he has a better understanding of the customers needs. He is always up to date on the latest innovations by attending trade shows and through research. Bob’s commitment to the engine building trade was recognized this past year as he placed in the top ten in the country in the Mahle Clevite Championship Technician competition. Commitment and a passion for the trade is what has kept Performance Automotive in business during the economic downturn our country has faced. Hopefully we have many more years to go!
