Thomas & Thomas makes high quality fly rods. They make fiberglass fly rods, graphite fly rods, and gorgeous bamboo fly rods.
I’ve always wanted one of their Bamboo fly rods. All of my fly rods are made from graphite, so I aspire to own one of these beautiful classics some day! Bamboo fly rods are not inexpensive and can cost a couple thousand of dollars or more!
I visited the Thomas & Thomas in Greenfield recently. They were in the middle of a renovation of the location, but they stopped and took the time to talk with me and show me the facility. I even got to hold and feel a couple of their bamboo rods!
