The Joan G. Lovering Health Center provides sexual health services to people of all ages at our facility in Greenland, New Hampshire. We offer a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental environment with access to pregnancy counseling and testing, contraception and abortion services, STD counseling and testing, as well as annual checkups, menopause care, outreach clinics and health education. Our holistic philosophy is grounded in respect, compassion, and commitment to medical excellence and choice. Founded in 1980 as The Feminist Health Center of Portsmouth, we changed our name in 2011 to the Joan G. Lovering Health Center, in honor of Joan G. Lovering, a New Hampshire pioneer for reproductive rights and one of our founders.

Nurse Practitioners (APRN), Registered Nurses, and trained health workers provide care and counseling.
