Pretty good bahn mi. Best I’ve had in town. They are kinda small so get two. They are cheap so do it. The shredded chicken or pork are the way to go.

The sandwiches were tasty(this is hard for me because there is a place back home that is my absolute favorite) the service was speedy and friendly and I had a mango a avocado bubble tea without the tapioca that was delicious!

This place a good for a quick lunch. I like it because the set-up is very simple and handy when I need something easy and on the go. I didn’t give it a 5 star mainly because their sandwiches are pretty slim compared to most banh mi places that I’ve tried. But the flavor is all there, and their side trays of Viet food are really good also

Highly disappointed in the bubble tea, which was not really bubble tea. There were no bubbles, just some green chunks of something. A warning before ordering would have been nice.

Greensboro is sooooo lucky to have a place like this! I was surprised that a place like this exists outside of the Eden Center or some little Saigon in NYC or Cali. It’s so rare to find Vietnamese baked goods and desserts that my wife and I decided to stock up like it was a trip to Costco. The banh mi’s are of course amazing and extremely reasonably priced. They do not skimp on the herbs or anything. We had about 6 different menu items and nothing was bad. I do not expect anything to be bad. We live about 1.5hr away and we are thinking of doing a monthly trip to stock up on noms.

Just finished my late lunch here at this spot which I am satisfied with What I had for the Price I paid . Their sanwiches are about 8″ long and the chicken filling in both our sandwiches was kind of on the lower side but the crisp fresh vegetables were a great compliment for the fresh toasted bread. Curry Chicken sandwich was Excellent, curry chicken had a great flavour to it. Rotisserie chicken sandwich was alright texture was almost like a Tuna sandwich where the meat is all mushed up. We got Taro Boba, surprisingly they didnt add Tapioca to it and added some kind of other vietnamese topping to it which I was not a fan of, they should have atleast informed me that they dont add tapioca when I ordered the drink. Drink itself was alright . Overall a Huge Fan of the Curry Chicken Sandwich and would totally go back for it. Staff were friendly.

Very simple but good Bahn Mi for the price. I was really excited to try this shop because I have been seeking a great Bahn Mi sandwich since I left Charleston, SC. This sandwich did not come close to comparing to the amazing Bahn Mi’s in Charleston… But it is less than half the price. It’s filling, fresh, and there are plenty of options. They do not accept American Express!!!

I come from a city that has a lot of Vietnamese inmigrants. When I moved to Greensboro, I was surprised to see that they had a Banh Mi shop in the south! I ordered their special(filled with BBQ meats and pickled daikon and carrots) with Jalapeños and it was pretty good! I think I am jaded by the banh mis back home, that has a strong garlicky pâté, but this was a great place to go to get my fix.

This little gem of a restaurant and bakery is situated in a somewhat dilapidated strip mall on High Point Road… oops, make that«Gate City Boulevard» now. For appearance sake, it’s not much to behold, but once you enter the little shop, the first thing to greet you is the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread. Orders are placed at the counter and the staff are friendly and efficient. We both ordered different variants of traditional banh mi and they were magnificent. The bread was perfect, the ingredients in the sandwich were all fresh and tasty and the portion size was very ideal. I honestly almost hate to give five stars because out of my own selfishness, I would like to keep this place a secret! However, anyone visiting this area who appreciates this cuisine, should not miss out on such a hidden gem.

This place is easy to miss on the road if you aren’t looking for it– in a bit of a dodgy strip mall, but don’t let that deter you. I love how inexpensive the Bahn Mi’s are here. A unique lunch for under $ 5 is hard to come by, but totally doable here! Happy to see that they have vegetarian options here AND bake their own bahn mi rolls. Also, the staff here is great– always friendly and patient for those of us who are less familiar with vietnamese cuisine. I’m a huge bubble tea fan, but was unfortunately really disappointed with the bubble tea here. I wish they would use tapioca pearls because the jelly they use for their drinks comes no where close to the great taste of traditional pearls! :(

DELICIOUSBAHNMI! OMG I am a fan! First of all they bake their own bread which is phenomenal and it was so fresh! I got the number 1 which is the standard one, and it is huge! The only thing is that for their bubble tea they only have jelly no tapioca pearl :(

First of all the owner is so nice. We are lucky to have a small but active Vietnamese population here in Greensboro. The food here is very good. It’s a really laid back place . So if you like to chill and enjoy good food check this place out !

This place has great reviews, but my experience here wasn’t as stellar. First, they didn’t have the grilled pork banh mi I usually get at other places. The ones here are more bbq pork style. Also, I got two of them but they didn’t look the same… the meat was different so I was very confused. My friend and I asked for them to go and they ended up giving them in a basket instead. When we reminded them that we wanted the banh mi to go, they made two new ones! They still charged us for the new ones too. Also, I’m not sure what the name of the dessert is but it has sweet green sticky rice and coconut. They claimed it was fresh but with the rice we got… I wasn’t very sure about that.

Came to try the boba tea but couldn’t resist getting a banh mi. #5 was on point but they had over 20 to choose from! Fresh crispy baguette with mouth watering shredded pork marinated in fish sauce, along with very fresh cucumbers, carrots and some jalapeños to add a little kick! I would have given five stars but the boba had jellies instead of pearls, which is blaphemy and profoundly disappointing to a pearl addict like me. Good flavor to the mango and avocado ones we had though and really cheap!

Love coming here for all sorts of banh mi sandwiches. Coming from wilmington banh mi are always a must when I’m in town to visit. It’s the best in town and the prices aren’t too bad. They have other side items, different desserts and bubble tea if you didn’t want banh mi. It amazed me how much this place grew and how popular it is among the community.

This is a cool little place. Glad to see Greensboro has this. I enjoyed looking at the array of desserts on the counter when I walked in. The variety of sandwich items looked very appealing. I wasn’t sure what to get so I just got the curry chicken banh mi. This was my first time ordering this. I also got some fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls were decent, nothing to complain about. I make my own spring rolls now and it’s much more cost efficient lol. The curry chicken banh mi was a beautiful sandwich and had a good overall flavor, however there was barely any meat on this thing and the chicken didn’t really taste much. I know the sandwich was only $ 4(same price as the spring rolls) but I was expecting just a little more meat. They probably don’t come with much meat traditionally(I’m just guessing) but I felt like this was more of a snack or appetizer than anything else– I really needed more protein to balance out the bread. I wonder if the $ 7.50 one comes with more meat? I may try this when I come back. The staff was really nice when I went and I appreciated that. I kept asking what each of the desserts were, perhaps next time I will actually buy one! :)

No frills, all food; Banh Mi Saigon Sandwiches & Bakery churns out legit Vietnamese food. When judging any Banh Mi, I immediately start with the bread, and they do it right. It has a nice crunch on the outside, and a pillowy inside. As for the ingredients: all the meats I had, had a simple, great taste to them and were seasoned just right. They also serve fresh spring rolls, bubble tea, and other specials in their simple dining set up. They only have a couple tables/chairs here and there, with close to zero atmosphere. But the food surely makes up for that. With such a simple sandwich, you think it’d be hard to mess it up, but you’d be surprised. This spot does anything BUT that, and presents a standard, but quality Banh Mi sandwich.

Like they need another glowing review, but here goes… Saigon serves bahn mi Vietnamese sandwiches, fresh spring rolls and bubble tea. It’s simple, inexpensive and perfectly delicious every single time The bahn mi bread here is so crisp that it’s impossible not to end up with a lap full of crumbs, the outer layer is thinner, crisper and more delicate than an ice cream cone. The interior is soft, moist and airy to have a perfect contrast. I think they are actually bigger now than when I began coming here a couple years ago, probably 8−9in long. They have moved from having a list on the black board to adding most of those ‘specials’ to the main menu board behind the counter. The curry chicken is a favorite, with a mild yellow curry flavor. Roast Pork is another go-to choice and is similar to Chinese red roast pork. The fresh spring rolls are a great bargain at $ 3.50. 2 big rolls with glass noodles, mint, basil, shrimp and a plum/peanut dipping sauce.

This is probably the best Banh Mi I’ve ever had in my life! Order the #4 beef bbq sandwich. The sauce on this is this light brown semi sweet style gravy. It’s so tasty and goes well with the beef. And the best thing are the prices, this 12″ sandwich is only $ 3.50. The French bread are freshly made and eating it right out of the oven. the veggies inside has the right amount of celantro and carrots. It was so good I ordered another #4 after I ate the first one. I didn’t mind waiting 15 minutes to cook a new batch of bread. I also ordered bubble tea and that was good too. I will make this place a regular spot to stop by. I’ll try the other Banh Mis next time.

Again, thanks to Unilocal,I was able to experience a very nice meal in an unfamiliar place. I had today the fresh spring rolls, banh mi with roasted port and taro bubble tea. Everything was very good. The spring rolls were so fresh inside out, the banh mi bread was so soft inside with crisp outside, the roasted pork was so tender and flavorful and the taro bubble tea was so nice. The cashier lady was very pleasant and my food was all brought over to my table, which was nice.
