It’s a pretty good neighborhood sports bar. If you’re close by, I recommend going, if you’re not… I wouldn’t make a special trip. That’s really the best summary I can give it.
Sometimes, they really hit me with a good wing sauce flavor (Sweet Spicy BBQ!), others are a total miss (more basic flavors). I’ve had good meals, and things I won’t order again. The hot chips and fries are good, the Mac n Cheese is not at all. They definitely have great beer prices if you’re just looking for some domestic swill to wet your esophagus.
Oh, I do think they’re a good place for local cord-​cutters to catch a sporting event. Ample TVs, and the bartender will give you their full attention. Plenty of good apps to snack on too.

Very slow takeout service. Took almost an hr to receive wings and side salad. I would suggest not calling when you’re hungry or else you’ll become hangry.

Great fried wings with a variety of sauces. Wings are well done, nicely breaded. You can get bone in or boneless, breaded or naked. Breaded wings are crispy and are average size.

I was very disappointed today when I walked into Bön Bön. 2 hostesses/​servers were up front but did not bother to greet me. But along came someone else through the doors where they kindly greeted them, sat them down and just ignored me. Frustrated, I asked the young lady «how long for a table for 2?» She told me she was going to clean a table and get it ready for me. As I watched her clean a table, a group of high school kids who apparently were friends with the 2 servers came in, after waiting 15 minutes thinking that the table was for me, she sat the high school kids before me. I am very disappointed for the service I experienced. I’ve eaten at Bön Bön before and the food is great, but as far as my experience tonight I will have to give it a thumbs down.

Food is always great and good service as well. We will definitely be going back many times!

My wife and had dinner here this past Saturday. I will preface my review with the information that neither of us ordered the wings for which they are known. We went in and immediately had to ask where the Sanitation plaque was. The hostess pulled it out from under the daïs. Lucky for us it was a 99.0 which is an excellent rating. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and enjoyed those very much. From there it went downhill. My wife ordered the Asian Chicken Salad. She was not satisfied at all. She said that the salad had to much teriyaki sauce on in the salad dressing and the chicken was swimming in the sauce. I ordered the fish & chips. There was one measly thin piece of flounder and 5 jumbo shrimp. The menu read that there should have been 6 jumbo shrimp. If I had wanted a salt lick for dinner, I would have probably gone to the Southern States for my meal. I have never had so much salt in any breading that I have ever come across. I didn’t eat all of my thin piece of flounder or my shrimp. There was a big portion of fries and I would guess that I ate abut 10 of them. If you are on a low sodium diet and you go here, I can tell you at least not to order this entrée. With tip this meal came to about $ 41.00 and change. There are many places in this town that we could have spent this kind of money and gotten an excellent meal. Sorry Bön-​Bön history with us.

The food is good but the last two times I have been here the service has been slow. Both these visits were on slow days with less than 10 people in the resturant. Two wait staff to cover serving and seating. I keep thinking it will be better next time.

Small sports bar restaurant with some awesome chicken wings and their homemade chips are to die for. The chips are very light, not greasy and are huge. The prices are fairly average for a sports bar. It also helps that it’s one of the only restaurants I’ve been to lately with a 100% rating… gotta love a clean restaurant!

Must say I love to try different wing places because it’s Amazing how many was one little piece of chicken can made to taste so many different. I have tried every sauce they offer and not once was the flavor over powering it was quite refreshing I must say. Of all the places I’ve tried here in greensboro I must say Bön Bön grill is the champions in wing business

I’m amazed to have visited this restaurant (not the first) and for the first time to have the owner say you an not use the attractions coupon because they were not suppose to be printed. Really??? The attractions coupon is $ 8 off a dinner entrée when purchasing two entrees and he said you could not use it because it was accidentally printed. I will not be back!

Good wings and friendly service. The Thai Chili wings are my favorite. Service can be slow and to go orders take forever.
The owner is always friendly and the food is good. Just don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

I love their burgers. It literally is two meals. The ingredients are fresh, served piping hot and the meat is cooked to order. I like the Baha burger. My husband likes to create his own.

Bön-​Bön Wings is a small sports bar/​restaurant. They have four or so televisions and maybe 15 tables. If I remember correctly, this location was the original Sedgefield Florist. I may be wrong however.
As far as a bar, they had some selection but not crazy selection. I think of other sports bars in Greensboro and Bön-​Bön was a tad behind here. Not bad, but just not as extensive. They had Natty Greene’s Winter Ale so I liked that much. But don’t come here expecting a lot to choose from. I would say that it is probably ok for most people and for this area. I also sit at a bar when I am by myself and I did this time. My bartender was quick and on top of things. No issue here.
A talk thread about wings brought me here. I don’t usually get boneless, so I went with that just to do something different. I got 20 of these and they let you pick two sauces with this order (16.99). The amount of chicken per wing was excellent. These were cooked nicely as they were tender, juicy, and could have been eaten by themselves without sauce. They did well here and you could tell that they weren’t frozen or from a bag or something. This part stood out to me and trumps wing places that I have been to such as East Coast, Wings to Go, Wingstop, or Buffalo Wild Wings. Clearly different. At least the boneless ones were different.
The two sauces I got is where I would redo it all over again. I got ten each of Chipotle BBQ and Daytona. Neither of these really appealed to me and after eating one of each, I couldn’t tell the difference for each wing after that. Maybe I picked a bad combo but neither of these really caught my attention. Also as I look at the menu here online, some of these listed aren’t actually on the printed menu and vice versa. I think for most people, they had a decent number of sauces. I just wasn’t a fan of either. I dare say people would do the spicy stuff that range from mild to hot or whatever and this may be worth trying.
The sauce selection was decent, but I look at other places such as Wings to Go or Buffalo Wild Wings, and these places seem to have a more varied selection with similar numbers. Just my two cents.
To wrap this up, the difference in the wings was evident but the sauces I had didn’t bite me at all. They have a decent number of sauces that are comparable to other wing places but I didn’t think they were that varied. There may be some sauces that are good here, but not what I had for my taste preference. I would not go out of my way to eat here again, but I wouldn’t shun it if in the area.
Meh sums up my experience.

First time eating here and it was delicious! I ordered wings (Hot) and a side salad. I like spicy thing and find that sometimes when restaurants try to make spicier sauces they have the hot factor but lack in flavor, this was not the case at Bön Bön wings and grill it was Hot and tasty just the way i like it. I will definitely be returning! Also the staff was very friendly!

Just ordered the fish and chips… It was fantastic just like I hoped it would be. I ate here several times before, because I work at the Great Clips next door. Also, had the Boneless wings one other time and they were delicious… The flounder was very fresh and very delicious. I recommend Bön Bön to all the customers that ask me about this restaurant. Mmmm so tasty…

First visit today… definitely not our last.

I went to this place when I saw that it opened on Unilocal.We got standard bar food, and it seemed up to par. They have drink specials, etc.
Unfortunately, it is a little too «lit» for a bar atmosphere. Also, it was a little quiet — only 2 other patrons on a Monday Football night. The décor is new and modern.
The staff was very nice and attentive. I would probably go again, if I was in the area. I would not go out of my way, though.
